Very happy with this. Looks like a quality play. Has a lot of grit like Herrera, but will offer more in the build-up phase, which we need.

This. I know our signings haven’t set the world alight but José has been signing a better standard of player for us. If he had the same impact as a Matic I’ll be very happy as it’ll be another step in the right direction. Cool to have a Brazilian in the squad again too. Shakhtar seem to be able to spot and develop Brazilians really well considering the standard of the league and cultural differences.

Haven't watched him before but watching his youtube performances he looks pretty decent on the ball. Just his style of play looks better than both Savic and Talisca for us imo, Savic because he plays a bit too much like Pogba does.
