On the Good Fred Bad Fred scale tonight... Still some inevitable bad, but mostly good?
Despite him supposedly being really bad, he won the ball more than any player, other than Dalot, (5 tackles and 2 interceptions) and he created the most important goal of the match.
He should have ended with a second assist, also.
so many hospital passes, i swear he passes with his eyes closed most of the time, especially that fluke for Elanga.
needs replacing.
I love the guy but he was poor on the ball in the first half. Should have had 2 assists yeah and he was really good in the second half. He’s a machine. Our joint most creative player currently. Definitely our hardest worker. You see people then jumping on him for their goal. Overly harsh. The lad has just totally changed the game for us
Your guess as good as mineOn the Good Fred Bad Fred scale tonight... Still some inevitable bad, but mostly good?
No one elseOle sacked, at least that’s the last time we have seen McFred. Carrick comes in, that’s the last we have seen McFred. RR, that’s the last we have seen McFred.….they are going no where.
Your guess as good as mine
Sublime pass to Elenga
But also at fault for the goal and a number of loose passes that let them counter
Performance went from a 3 to 10 throughout the match
Every forum needs a scapegoat, Fred’s ours. Has him limitations but equally used in the right way, can really make a difference. He is never a 6 anymore than Scott is but needs to play there until we get one. Very useful squad player for me or starter in the big games when you need to ensure their midfield can’t settle on the ball….

Thats it. people keep repeating this stupid phrase over and over we can’t control the midfield and that’s why the strikers have been poor. Couldn’t be further from the truth. The strikers aren’t setting each other up or working hard enough for each other. It’s not a coincidence that Elanga has been a total breath of fresh air or Cavani last season. What’s missing from our team isn't just about controlling the game and knocking short safe passes around. It’s about intensity and pressing harder getting forward and back and destroying the other teams tempo. Fred and Scot are very good at that. They seem to be getting better at one going one sitting and their creativity is on the up
Was more erotic today with that first goalGreat engine but his passing is erratic.
He has all the attributes to be a very good midfielder
He just need to start putting some tackles in
to be fair, the whole tema needed a cold shower. Brentford pressed very hard and great as a unit and we didn't know what to do, Fred tried to be everywhere but didn't get any supprort from always hiding McTominay. It's extremely difficult ot play with a midfielder with such limited defensive ability or Matic who plays in retireement tempo. There are no easy games and even the bottom table teams can press very well and we seem to set up still with not good enough players to match this part of the game. Only when we string too passes together our strikers stretch the play don't los the ball with their first touch we have a bit of a breather and can get more comfortable but some of these errors we see not only by Fred are system errors by players who can't function in that system..They either need to be teached not to make those mistakes or simply replaced. Fred for one make mistakes but often lacks any support , has noone to pass to or noone to defend with, that force errors from him.The first 10 minutes I thought we were in for one of his shockers but he settled down and played well. He gets everywhere, we just need somebody capable of sweeping up from the pressure he creates.

Good assist but shit player.
For as much hate as they get, I think they've been two of the best players under Rangnick.Such a stupid post with no context whatsoever.
Guy's probably been our only good outfield player for the last three months and gets lazy shit like this thrown at him.
McFred isn't a long-term midfield by any means but they've given more effort and consistency than we've seen anywhere else in the pitch.
What context do you need. Our midfield is probably the weakest part of our team and he's a mainstay in that midfield.Such a stupid post with no context whatsoever.
