Gaming Football Manager 2016

Almost hired Messi as my assistant manager. He wanted four times what Giggs is on and it would have cost me £1.3m to get rid of Ryan. In the end I was just too tight.

They still need to fix the transfers thing. In my Cambridge United Save, Real Madrid bought Inaki Williams for 64m pounds in Jan 2018- and they have given him 9 games till Nov 2018!

Just had a Shield tablet arrive, cracked FMT on it and had a quick go, incredibly impressive, it runs quickly in match and out, looks great and the touch controls seem perfect so far.

I need to start up some kind of save on it.

Neville has joined Arsenal as manager. I feel sick about that. Giggs is United manager (his assistant is Keane)

Whats the worst rating a player has gotten in a game for you guys? I remember a player getting a 1.1 rating a few years back, but this Aussie guy in the CWC just received a 1.9 rating in my 11-0 trashing of Melbourne City  Poor guy.

Edit: I might buy him just to atleast give him a decent life after that shambles.

Off the top of my head, I think a guy got a 2.something rating on one of the old FMs. To be honest, I don't really look at the opposition ratings.

1.1 seems ridiculous though. I'm looking at some of my thrashings on FM16, and I've got a 4.1 (10-0 vs. Middlesbrough), and a 4.0 (9-0 vs. Ludogorets), but that's as low as it goes. What did this player on yours do? Score a hat-trick of own goals and then bite the ref?

Cant remember what the 1.1 guy did, but the 1.9 guy did score two O.Gs, caused a penalty, got a yellow card and made 3 errors leading to goals.

Guess he's taking some non-PEDs for my game against them:

Edit: Ridiculous season by the way. After 21 games, my GD is +71. The second best in the league is +15

I promised Lukaku I'd bring in a friend of his to help with his homesickness. I went and signed his brother on the cheap. The promise thing is still there.

What more does he want from me? He only has two other favoured personnel, and one of them plays for Man City!

Edit: turns out you have to ask the player to recommend a signing, then sign them. Zakaria Bakkali has earned himself the right to...be in Manchester...sight-seeing or something.

I'm sick to my back teeth with how much effect team talks has on comebacks.

2-1 up at half time and I say 'Good going, you're playing well keep it up'

Thats apparently code for 'concede 5 goals in the second half'.

That button is only for pressing if you're 5-0 up at the half and want to spice up the second half.

go for: You are playing well but I know you can play much better

Nah thats the 'I want you to concede within 15 seconds of the re-start button'

Works for me, maybe make your team play a bit defensive for the 1st 15 minutes of second half

Counter 90 minutes of every game, i always aggressively tell them they are disappointing me at half time if they are drawing or in general not playing as expected and usually does well for me.

United, 80million I think, 1st season. Only just bought the game.
United should be pretty handy, Tielemans, Bazoer, Lewis Cook, Zivkovic(the one at Partizan), all the usual suspects, if you fancy splashing for expensive youth, Ivan Cavaleiro or Bernardo Silva at Monaco are worth a look, could chuck 35m on Laporte straight away and have an iron defence between him and Smalling, very Rio/Vidic. Gayá at Valencia is worth chasing if you want a top class really attacking full/wing back.

Is that Adriija or something like that? He was unbelievable in football manager 15, he still is so I take it? Thanks for the tips, what's our very own Renato Sanches like on 16? Good potential?

That's the lad, he's just as good, and cheaper as he's only 1 year on his contract. I've never bought Sanches, but by all accounts he's very good.

I'm such a lazy manager when in charge of the big clubs. Playing as United, brought in Mathias Sammer as my DoF and put him in charge of everything. Now I basically put together a list of the top 30 youngsters from my scouts and add them all as transfer targets. Now to watch my DoF work his ass off bringing me the next generation of superstars

I'm now the proud owner of 21 new starlets for a combined transfer fee of £100m.

Such a busy 5 days for Mattias.... :D

How do you go about doing this? I'd like to give it a try

Staff responsibilities and change whatever you want there. Under staff tab I think. There you can change who does the scouting, buys players, training, contracts, all that.

Two titles in a row with Villarreal. Even when I lose 5 on the bounce I still won the league. 84 points seem a little low for La Liga .

Real Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona struggle in the Champions League too. No idea why. Atletico have Martial and Memphis up front. Real Madrid have Vietto (signed from PSG) C.Ronaldo and Marco Reus. Barcelona have the big three. Yet my partnership of Guidetti and Bakambu is clearly much better  Even had Pato on a free but he only scored something like two goals in 30 games. One was the winner against Real Madrid in what was pretty much a title decider.

Yup, in mine Moyes became Barca manager. They won the La liga that year on H2H vs RM. But they have struggled in CL. Went out in Group stages

Once, when 2 up at half time, I accidentally gave the team an absolute raging bollocking.

Won the game 8-0.

I accidentally gave them a bollocking after a 4-0 win a few years back. The whole fecking team turned on me. They called a poxy meeting and everything.
