Depay seems to be suffering from a acute form of Rooney disease for me. He goes from being rated 6.3 and being useless for an extended run, to WPOTY form for the next 4/5 games where he tears everybody a new arsehole no matter who the oppo is.
Well that was far more comfortable than I thought it would be!

Ricardo Kishna is doing fantastic for me for Forrest in the 2nd season. 9 goals so far in Mid March and I only signed him in January.

I lost one and drew one of my matches so far, only failing to score in one game. Averaging three goals per game, roughly. My style has been 'control' or 'attacking' depending on the opponent so it's not like I'm parking the bus, what style have you been using?
We have qualified for Euro 2020 in 1st (after being fourth place in the group) and gone up from 34th to 27th in World ranking. It's only a minor point against a backdrop of positives, but it's grating.
Attacking to start with, control when I've got the lead. Sometimes go to counter if I'm winning by like 4 or 5. I've got passing set to more direct, which I thought might be something to do with it, but my average possession is still in the mid 50s and my pass success rate is 75%. And the commentary is always saying 'lovely move by Frigg!' or 'Frigg are red hot!' or some such nonsense, I'm not hoofing it up to a target man up front or anything. 787 chances and 118 goals in 30 games, I'm not sure what more they want...

Conceding a goal against Latina is a borderline sackable offence if you ask me.
Nah, they've become quite a good Serie A club in this save. Partially my fault tbh, sold them some tidy midfielders for cheap.
Not just the fans, coaches to. Rest a player for another one and you get "you should consider dropping X for Y".
Ronaldo's testimonal. Not against United or even Sporting, which is strange. But he's been pretty good!
Two more players who have turned out amazing in my game: Ricardo Rodriquez and Agustin Allione. Unfortunately both are now at Madrid and Barca so no chance of signing them!
Also, what is the minimum a nation needs for you to be able to manage it? I'd love to be able to manage an obscure team like Latvia or Bolivia or something, but they never give you the option to apply. Of course, these often don't have enough players in the database but it could just provide you with greyed out ones?
Allione was a must buy in 14, haven't seen him yet in this.

A question about U20's and U18's coaches and assistant managers. Do you have them? How do you sign them, that is, how do you find coaches that are willing to take on those posititions?
Does anyone know of you can load a nation midgame? I'd like to load all players from somewhere like Nepal or something really obscure and manage their national team, but in my current save. Is this possible?
Sort of. In the FM main menu there's an 'Add/Remove League' option.
Ah yes I saw that last year. It wouldn't add all the players of that nationality though, and it doesn't have every league available.

I have them. Basically you just have to either find someone already in one of those jobs for a different team, or someone less experienced - plus they have to have a relatively high Working with Youngsters stat. Genie Scout can be useful for finding decent youth coaches if you set up a filter to find coaches in either of those situations, just takes a little time to work through them all.

Think the only time to customise your database is at the start of a new game (where you choose database size and what nations/regions/leagues to load players from). Gutted

Don't believe so, its never even attempted to download it. I only remembered recently when I went to start a new game and I could only use 15.0.0. Was hoping SI might upload it to the workshop or something just in case this happens but seemingly not.
If you right click on it and go to properties and there to the update tab, is it set on 'Always keep this game up to date'?
Yep, though it's not a good idea to try to play with all the leagues enabled. I did that once, it just never finished setting up...
Yeah, that sucks. I can't play my longest-running save any more because the lack of Ødegaard bugs the hell out of me.
Yeah I do try and optimise these. A good time to find them is when senior players retire. You can find a lot of staff with good stats but not much experience.
