Gaming Football Manager 2015

Talk about domination with my PSV team. Amazing. That front four is truly dominant.

Played 25 games in the dutch league and havent lost a game.
Won 22 and drawn 3. Total of 69 points.
Scored 86 goals so far and we are only in mid February. Have a goal difference of +60.
Have a lead of 19 points over 2nd place Ajax.

Stats:
Luuk De Jong: App: 25 ----- Goals: 29 ----- Assists: 13
Adam Maher : App: 24 ----- Goals: 16 ----- Assists: 21
M. Depay : App: 23 ----- Goals: 15 ----- Assists: 17
G. Wijnaldum: App: 24 ----- Goals: 11 ----- Assists: 13

My wage and transfer budgets have run out. Didnt have much to begin with. Just signed Blackett, Pablo Barrera, Guillermo Burdisso and Jeronimo Rulli on free transfers for the end of the season.

Update: Won the title in the first week of March. Out of the Europa League. Have the Dutch cup and the unbeaten season still to play for.

Has anyone managed to keep Depay, Wijnaldum and Jetro past the first season when managing PSV? They wanted to leave early in the season. I told them I can guarantee them Champions League football next year which I did and they still want to leave.

Rafael got angry because I wouldn't sell him to Real and the whole squad freaked out because of it being..well slavery I suppose? Is there another good right back in the whole game? Not a whole lot to choose from there. That guy at Milan looks decent, but not really worth 45 mil or whatever they are asking. I have John Stones, but would prefer playing him at CB. Rafael was one of my best, playing 7.41 last season the brilliant bastard.

Gino Peruzzi, but he's not as good as Rafael, Clyne is good, that lad at Real Madrid, uhhh, great fullbacks are very rare, De Sciglio is probably the next best to Rafael, but as you say crazy price. Touch injury prone too.

Tempted to give West Ham or Spurs a go, keep getting crash dumps in my United save so won't bother until the update is released.

I've still got Depay and I'm 6/7 years into my PSV save. I sold Winaljdum last year after getting Barkley. Willems went early on as he was pretty poor quality.

Yeah, no kidding. Cheers for the tips though.

I had the same thing. Real bid £16m on the second-to-last day of the transfer window in summer 2015, I rejected it (obviously) and then Rafael kicked up a stink. This was promptly followed by the entire rest of the squad revolting for "denying him his dream move", so when Real came back the next day with £20m I was forced to accept it (after haggling them up to £25m).

I replaced him with Sam Byram from Leeds for £10m plus addons who, whilst not quite as good, is twenty-one and English, and he's doing fine for me at the moment.

Byram can be pretty dang good, especially as a wingback.
What skin are you using ?
That's FMC.

Just got two goals from free kicks in one game!

Berardi with the first, and Totti with the second.
I'm as far along with a season as you and my team along with 7 others (5 of the 8 teams are in the top 5) haven't scored a goal directly from a free kick.

Giueseppe Rossi just complained about not getting regular football. He's been back in full training for a little over a month. He barely manages over 90% after playing for 20-30 minutes and his match fitness is at 50%. What can I say to that? Can't start him. All options but one are "I can't give you regular football" of some sorts.

Is there a way to find out how many your and other teams have had in a season?
League screen > Stats > Team stats > Goal from DFKs.

That being said, I looked at the conceded screen. I've actually managed one. Only one team more than 2. Four teams haven't scored one. Pretty unrealistic I'd say.

This game can be so stupid at times. Have a player who has started every game for me this season. We are currently sitting top of the table halfway through the season. Yet he comes to me saying Wolves are interested in him and he wants to leave, going on about them being a bigger club and all that. This despite the fact they are sitting in the bottom half of the table in the same league.

What club are you?
Rochdale. Got them promoted the year before, so I can understand the teams rep is a lot lower than wolves. But still we are top of the ladder, 15 points above the team he wants to move to and he won't even give me until the end of the season.

I'm just thinking, Wolves are pretty rich, it's probably the reputation of their wallets he's after.

I don't know if it's new to this version of FM (haven't played one since FM10), but players get waaay too pissy if they're not playing regularly. I have a defender I signed in the summer as a "rotation" option, who has played 6 games so far (Jones and Rojo, my first choice partnership, have played 8 each, so only 2 more games) and he's getting really arsey about not being a first team regular even though HE ADMITTED HIMSELF HE WAS ONLY A ROTATION OPTION.

Yeah they definitely get annoyed very easily. Playing as Madrid I lost Isco and Balanta this way (I do not bow down to my players under any circumstances!).

However, I can now use this to my advantage when the regens start to become world beaters. I can simply not play the players that need replacing and they will hand in a transfer request! I always found axing ageing players to be a big issue in FM, especially when loyalty bonuses got added in.

How do you avoid losing streaks?

Maybe I am just super unlucky but I have had the problem in every season of every version of FM. I go on stupid winning runs (most recently it was 20 wins in a row) then I will lose a match and it will spark a huge losing streak, my team morale drops to very poor and it becomes unbearable. And very unrealistic too.

Changing tactics never works. I've even got a team with Neymar, Vidal, Pogba, Varane etc. It should be easy.

Adnan

Worst thing is he only came 3rd in the Ballon D'or, behind Messi and Ronaldo who somehow had 8+ ratings despite having feck all decent stats compared to him. Another endless, long term FM bug.

Sitting in 1st place. Losing 1-2 at halftime away to the team in 20th. Bad enough as it is...but then 3 red cards for my team later, we lose 1-4.

Not really sure where to start with that one.

Since I don't have a transfer budget at PSV, just brought in a ton of players on a free transfer at the end of my first season.

Cleverley, Micah Richards, Pablo Barrera, Tyler Blackett, Guillermo Burdisso, Ben Arfa, Paolo De Ceglie.
Also brought in Gary Hooper for £1M, Balanta for £7m and Clasie for £13m after selling a bunch of deadwood.

Team 1:
Luuk De Jong

Depay-----Maher-----Ben Arfa

Clasie-----Nordveidht

Willems-----Balanta-----Bruma-----Richards

Team 2:

Hooper

Wijnaldum-----Odegaard-----Barrerra

Cleverley-----Hendrix

De Ceglie-----Burdisso-----Blackett-----Arias

Yeah players are really annoying on this, as anyone who's ever sold Nick Powell will tell you. Four games into the season and I've got someone complaining about a lack of first team football, even though his squad status is set to rotation and he's started one game and come off the bench in the other three... And then there's the players who throw massive tantrums about me breaking a promise to sell them, even though I've offered them out 100 times and no one's made a bid. It's not been this bad on previous versions, hopefully the patch will fix some of it.
