Didn't realize Barca were so good on this game. First game, 11-1. Messi with 5 goals. And I even had a red card.

Yeah I probably need to download a few since no one seem to write what type of individual instructions they use.
Almost the "best" but regional for player I think. Yeah it could be the case, I'll try to stick with this save for a while although it's boring to play like crap every game.
That might be the issue then. I started a few saves at the beginning with basic coaching stats, thinking it would be awesome to "grow" throughout the game on courses etc. But about 3 months after I started...i could barely get the team to win a game. Think their reps were too high for me to get the best out of with my stats.

I dont know if it's cheating or not, but it seems as though every single player in this game wants to join Chelsea. With that in mind, I tend to do a "full squad-enquiry" as soon as my top rivals gain some form, and see their moral turn to shit as the players causes a fuzz when my enquiry is rejected. So far, more or less the entire Man Utd-squad is furious
Got bored with my Madrid save and winning everything in sight, going to give my long term United save a start.

The actual date that the regens are created is now random between a certain date range for each country. Just means a lot more searching for regens from other leagues.

Finally got this game. Have a question. ADM has concerns he isn't being paid enough attention for shooting training. Any ideas as to how to fix this issue?

I bought Tielemans, Balanta, and Odegaard. Between those 3, and the youngsters already there, I want to keep up the success and overtake Madrid's CL wins by just using the players coming through. The transfer ban will keep me honest for a while
I usually end up making huge changes whenever i manage a club, selling and buying like crazy. I played a custom save on FM2014 where Barca were relegated to the lower leagues and all their star players were sold off. Basically had to rebuild them. Was a lot of fun. This should be easier since I'm basically only implementing a ban on myself of not buying any established players.

but having 2 wins so far with 11 goals is something I haven't managed before..so might be fun to see how this all pans out. Messi didn't even score or assist a goal in the 11-0 over liverpool.I downloaded that but never got around to playing it, sounded a load of craic.
Yeah I played it for quite a few seasons. Their rep was dropped, transfer ban, and limited funds if i remember correctly. Quite a fun little twist that kept me interested since i usually get bored quite quickly.

Problem is that it says "Debt of £0 (6.12m per month) and is still taking over 6 million out of my account per month.
I have even tried moving the date the debt runs out to the next in-game day, but it doesn't expire. It still takes out the money after the expiration. What's going on?

Whenever I try something like that there's Getafe with a world-class regen on their hands and a buy-out-clause of 3M. That's why I just say the players have to be from the same nation. Would probably be way too easy with Barca though.

You can search each club on that date of intake, and I believe you can make offers for those players before they sign with the team they appear in.
Secondly, someone on the FM-base site made a habit of saving the day before the intake, then reloaded his game if he didn't get any good players. That would be bordering on ruining the game a bit since it takes some element of randomness out of it. But to each his own

Was going to say the first bit there is cheating a little but actually there's nothing stopping teams from doing that in real life
How do people use Depay to get the best out of him? I have him on the LW as an Inside Forward (a) but he's not producing the numbers. 7 goals and 11 assists in 27 games is decent, but judging by other people's stories he should be doing much better.

I played him as a bog standard winger - attacking duty on the left (also retrained him to the right) and he gets 30+ a season for me., 20+ assists too
Saying that though it is the Eredivisie.
My regen wonderkid star who is probably the best striker in the world goes on international duty and gets injured for 4 weeks. I was annoyed but could cover. Then he goes again and gets a broken leg!! feck this game. Hopefully I can manage to still win a trophy. My other forwards are so hit-and miss though.
Started a season with Manchester 62 of Gibraltar. Turns out everyone in the league shares the same stadium so that's going to hold me back! Plan is to see how far up the rankings I can get the whole league, national team etc but I think it's probably going to take forever.
Wow. So Im december season 1 with United. A congested fixture list coming up and Im going up against City in the Capital One cup QF and I literally want to throw the game away and play a weakened side and still win 3-0.
