Gaming Football Manager 2015

I'm still feckin' stuck in that January window, trying to decide what to do with my 6 strikers. Bah.

Toney is the obvious one to ditch, but after picking him up from League 2 at the start, with me for 5 seasons of constant success, and he's still holding his place at the top level.... Don't have the heart to move him on.

Just paid 3 Million for this fella

Absolutely pisses me off when you clinch the title with 5/6 games to spare and then the players then slacken off. I was on a fecking 32 match unbeaten run

This!! I have no idea why they do it, especially if you are going for an unbeaten season or have a cup.champions league final coming, they should all be playing for their places

Sold Kishna to Dortmund for £35 Million. Sad to see him go cause he was brilliant from the moment I signed him but I have a quality region winger who I would like to put in the first team and the majority of the cash was upfront.

On a side note I also rejected £50 Million upfront for Depay. Would take 80 at least for me to consider letting that guy leave.

Struggling to find any rounded full backs with a bit of potential about them. My right back slot is fine, Clyne is Mr Consistency. Left flank is a revolving door, got in a really good defensive FB from Watford and Flanagan on the cheap from...Man United. Got Cresswell 2 seasons ago from United too.

Got Kongolo in my PSV team. Pretty solid LB who can fill in at CB too. Cost me a bit of dosh though but that may have been cause Feyenoord are my rivals.

Chelsea have him, I'm in 2020 I should point out. Just seems like we haven't hit the purple patch for full back regens.

Yeah, top full backs are rare, I have that Scottish lad from Hull I think, I bought him from Liverpool though.

Alex Sandro is good, if you need a really attacking one, again Jonathan Silva looks the best all round, but you'll have to wait as he just joined Sporting. EDIT: That late on he could be anywhere, of course.

Dont ever let Memphis go, he just broke another record for me, most goals in a game for Napoli and most goals in a game in Serie A, with 7 in one match, he's started the season with 13 goals and 6 assists from 7 games, with an average rating of 8.56. He's scored at least 40 goals in the last 3 seasons in the league, with at least 20 assists for the last 2 seasons as well

I've no intention of seeing him leave. Outstanding player.

Sold Zoet for £10 Million to Everton so instead of buying a new keeper I throw my 18y/o 4.5* PA keeper in the deep end. 6 games 3 clean sheets so far!

Some re-gens I brought in this season (some have been loaned back or loaned out)

In addition to the Argie DM I posted above I got:

All of them combined were 18 Million.

pissed the league with united and got bored after a season.

i've gone back to lower league management with the level 11 database... took my neighbours warrington to the third round of the fa cup beating mansfield and portsmouth along the way and sitting at the top of the northern premier first division in december.

prize money and a 1700 gate against portsmouth brought me out of debt, and have blackburn at ewood next week.

i'm going to wembley.

What are people finding transfers are like? Is it easy to move players on? For instance, is it still the case that you can offer a player out to clubs, even for free, yet receive no interest back from anywhere? Do clubs sometimes surprise you with bids for players, do the sometimes pay over the odds etc?

I don't think I've ever played a save where I've been surprised with a bid for a player.

Encore sales are on again for this game. I tempted to buy, but I'm worried that if I do buy, I'll get sacked from my job.... :wenger::wenger:

Well, in my demo version, I had to sell Anderson at 1/3 his price in order to get rid of him. And even then, I had to compensate part of his wages.

Have to say not overly impressed with 15.

The match engine is the worst in years. I know what you see on the pitch is irrelevant as the scoreline is pre determined (although will change with your changes) but it just looks ridiculous. Every game has players falling over, running fast but covering no ground (compared to oppo players who are remarkably fast) ive had 4 games where with only a couple of mins to go and we desperately need a goal, we get a corner, only for the corner taker to just stand there as the clock runs down for a couple of minutes.... Just looks quite unprofessional.

I don't mind the more 'realistic' player interaction (for realistic read moaning bitches), but it would help if it was actually realistic. I sold A. Pereira for about 1m. He was ok but his potential was only 3 stars, which just isn't good enough. When i sold him rooney became unhappy that we'd sold the'best young potential we have' (which he isn't). I told him that i would be buying players of much better quality, which appeared to placate him. I bought odegaard, balanta and another youngster who was clearly better than pereira in both current and potential ability. Come the close of the window rooney pulls a strop saying id not fulfilled a promise. So now he's unhappy, the entire squad is unhappy with morale at 'very poor' and rooney misses a training session. The morale has seriously affected performance.

Now, this is bad enough (I'd be ok if i hadnt actually bought much better players as promised) but it appears, unlike previous games, that there's nothing i can do. I can't find an option to have a private chat with rooney in an attempt to placate him so I'm sick with everyone being unhappy. At least give me the bloody chance to fix things. I'm assuming it's just a matter of time before they all forget about why they are unhappy.

Is Depay always amazing? As a 19 year old he has 12 goals and 12 assists in 19 games for me. Although despite that he doesn't seem to develop his stats as fast as Adnan for example does.

Top of the league with Derby after 30 games, looking good for promotion. Finances are gradually getting worse, transfer revenue has just been decreased to 0%.

@Dracula

The game is fine, what you are describing is due to your reputation, players don't give 100%, and they don't trust your managerial skills, and therefore will doubt your choices on the transfer market.

If you play regularly the young players that you bought, your players will be happy with the replacement.

Look through their squad, massive overrating everywhere, "Studgie lad" one of the most, next to Balotelli who's the perfect complete striker.
It's ridiculous, to the point that I've made an edit file that downgrades half of their players by like 10ca/pa :nervous:

the new one this year seems to be "he'll be disappointed to see that go in at his near post". FFS!
All the fukkin time!

Also, in a moment that would have had me rage, were it the other way around.... Won a peno against City, Will Hughes steps up and lashes it directly at Harts face. Hart bats it away, and begins to celebrate. Thing is, he batted it right on to the peno spot. Hughes thunders it past a still celebrating Hart. Close enough that he would have saved it had he been looking.

Argh, can't decide whether to cash in on a lethal, but 30 year old, Mario Gomez. I've bought Raul Jiminez as a long term replacement, but I don't know whether to use him as rotation and keep Gomez or throw him in with Rossi and sell off Gomez, who got 41 goals last year and has been in good form this year. I've no budget and I need a keeper, Neto is shit and he had that "beaten at near post" from 30 yards out (how about that!) which is the straw that has broken this camel's back.

Gomez is on £120k/w too which would be a great burden to release, Cuadrado is only on £100k/w and is worth £33m.

Hmm, I need a new challenge, getting bored with Crewe.

Perhaps something in full fat, as one thing I do miss is the homegrown rules, I prefer them over just trying to keep the squad national.

Maybe Bilbao, loved them in 14.

Make it more of a Basque challenge and go for Eibar!

@Earthquake What Berba said.

Does anybody find that Balanta is way too aggressive? He's getting booked in literally every match, and I've trained him to not dive into tackles but then he lets them run by and trip them.

I've had this a bit. I dropped him for my Europa semi-final second leg just to make absolutely sure he would play in the final cause he was a booking away from suspension. I know for a fact he'd have got a stupid booking. 10 yellow and 2 red for me last year.

Come to think of it if I can afford to take him off and he's on a yellow more often than not I sub him cause I think he's a bit of a risk

A few little updates from my game...

Qualified from the CL group for the first time due to having a decent draw this time around and being a better team.

Trained Depay to play RW as a RDTR and is pretty good. Did this because I sold Kishna (My main RW) and Brought in a 5* PA LW so brought Depay over to the right and all is good now.

Signed Ross Barkley in the summer for 10 Million from Arsenal who has been pretty much my best player. 21 games. 10 goals. 12 assists playing CAM (AP-A). 7.93 Average performance!

Got Halilovic on loan for the second year running to add depth and more importantly quality. The guy is a great player. Shame is Barca are insisting on £46 Million to take him on a permanent. I play him in CM ahead, yes ahead of Tielmans who I've found to be a disappointment considering what others have said and what I've read about him. 14 assists 0 goals in 3 years. Halilovic has racked up 15 goals and 21 assists in 1.5 seasons in the same position...

I've just had a look at his stats; 17 yellows in 33 games last year, 8 in 18 this year. Not good! I do the same thing substitution wise, and I drop him for games where he'll need one more yellow to be unavailable against the top teams, as his booking seems inevitable.

Just looked at him from this season on mine and guess what, he's a booking away from a ban!

I still haven't picked a team, ffs, looked at Eibar, but I'm not sure. Sassuolo was another option, but probably too easy. Thought I'd go jobless/low rep, but I don't know if I have the heart to start in the arse end of Chorley or whatever.
