Gaming Football Manager 2015

Definitely have to figure something out with set pieces, practically conceding a goal a game to corners, with three freaking CB's.... Gonna try something like Burrow's zonal marking again.

Ajax into the CL final, never expected that after the shambles of a start I had to the 3rd season  Barca is all that's left between me and eternal glory :D

Lost the CL final to Real Madrid last season after getting pounded by Cristiano throughout the game. Managed to score first and have a few other chances, but it honestly felt like for every goal I was ever going to score in that game, Ronaldo was going to score two.

At the start of the season I promised Roberto Pereyra I'd win it within a few seasons, which wasn't soon enough for him, so he went to Bayern, who weren't even close to the final. I'm now playing the Boxing Day fixture in 2016, and during the current season I've had to give Di Maria and Rafael promises of winning the Champions League this season, or they'll demand transfers to Bayern and Barca, respectively.

I'd understand their desire to move if Real Madrid were interested, seeing as they are the only team better than United in Europe at the moment, but going to teams who got knocked out by Valencia in the quarter finals (Bayern) or knocked out by United in the semis (Barca) seems a bit dumb. Wish they'd have some faith in the project. We were already better last season and we're not looking back.

Hmmm, into the 6th round of the FA Cup, after a shock 1-3 away win against Man City.

Fairly safe in the league at mid table, thinking of shifting my focus to the cup, in a desperate bid for European football next season.

Strange league, Spuds and Scouse neck and neck at the top, Man Utd 2 points behind, Chelsea 2 more points behind, and City 10 more behind them.

Arsenal languish in 12th, with Villas Boas, despite Higuain scoring for fun with them.

Do you guys know if a club can come back in for you if you deny an interview with them? I've probably gotten an offer from every single big club in the game, though it would suck if I end my chances permanently..

In FM14 somehow all the clubs I turned down never came in for an interview again. No idea if it's still like this and the save only went for 12 seasons but even after I left the team I had been managing for the last 10 years they didn't come back for me and I actually had to apply for an interview at Real Madrid to get a new job. The sad part was that Real hadn't won shit in all that time my team dominate the Bundesliga and Eruope and their reputation at this point was too low to consider me an option as I probably was the highest rated manager at that time. Same was true for Manchester United they were happy with Seedorf making them a mid table team on a regular basis. A bit strange really.

I've been offered an interview with United every season when they inevitably sack their manager (I have them listed as a favourite club), so yes they come in for you again

Into the FA Cup final! Got Chelsea, who sit in 4th at the moment.

Interesting situation, should Chelsea win their next fixture, they seal CL football, meaning I'm confirmed for Europa League(which I really want).

My next fixture...... Chelsea, away.

In the league, any loss from now on in by Spurs, and Man Utd seal the title, and naturally, I face Spurs at home, but 3 days after the Chelsea game.

I think my starting 11 are due a rest. :smirk:

Noticed Ajax' scouting range was terrible, floating at about 18% of the world. Got my scouts going to every corner of the world right now, currently at 40% and increasing every other week :D

Oh, and Ander Herrera got transfer listed and I'm picking him up for a cool £5m  Shipped Sergio Roberto out for £20m after buying him for £2,5m two years earlier!

Léo led the competition in both goals and assists.

Third Season with Notts Forest, lost to Man United in the FA Cup final.

All good though, qualified for the Europa League because of it. Finished 10th in the league

Had an absolutely amazing season with Sampdoria, winning the double (league and champions league).

Roma had a shocking start so Juventus and I were able to break away and make it a two horse race. After I had opened up a 10 point lead I started getting complacent and was dropping points everywhere but fortunately Juventus were too. Roma made a massive late charge and won basically their last 15 games, I think they had 1 draw in that run. Ended up winning the title by 3 points but it got closer than I expected. The real fun was in Europe though.

After beating Dynamo Kyiv (barely) in qualification I got Celtic, Atletico and PSG. Managed to top the group by beating Atleti and PSG at home and only losing to PSG away. Got a favourable draw against Benfica in the next round and did it comfortably. Got Real Madrid in the quarters (who had won the last 3) and smashed them 5-1 at home in the first leg with a Gabbiadini hattrick. In the second leg they absolutely dominated me but I somehow held on to win 5-4 on aggregate.

Got Liverpool in the semis and it was the same thing, a hattrick to Gabbiadini and a 5-0 home win. Then got smashed away from home but again held on to win 5-4 and into the final where I met Arsenal. Took an early lead only for them to equalise before half time. Re-gained the lead early on but they got a penalty and scored. In the 81st minute they took a 3-2 lead and I figured that would be about it. Went to overload and pulled back level in the 83rd minute (another Gabbiadini hattrick). Figured I'd prepare for extra time but in the 91st minute Stefano Okaka scored the winner with the last kick of the game basically. Unreal season, best fun I have had on an FM game.

7 games in a row I've conceded a single goal to someone scoring their first ever goal for the club.

The board just threatened to sack me while managing United. I was actually shitting bricks in the meeting with the Glazers

Don't say things like that about Ronaldo. You will get the fanboys jealous, there are plant of people on the cafe that would love to "get pounded by Ronaldo thought out the game" haha

I think i may have to never sell a player to a team in the same league ever again. No matter how crap they are, they will score against me when I eventually play them

After having Fletcher score against me in the fourth consecutive game against Southampton I had to check how ridiculous that aspect of the game was. I went back to the last save before the Soton game and played it five times.

Fletcher or Evans or both scored in every game. What are the odds? I've also had Anderson score against me for Crystal Palace. Fecking ridiculous.

That being said, Valencia, Young, Carrick, Fellaini and Powell all play for other Prem clubs, and they never give me much trouble.

Midway through the next transfer window, squad looks nicely strengthened. As it stands 14 Englishmen, and 9 foreigners. Was hoping some decent bods would come in for Alfred Duncan, or Léo, just so I could push it a tad more.

Wow I now have reached the stage where almost every team plays either a 4-1-4-1 or a 4-5-1 with a flat midfield 5 against me. They also park the bus like crazy which leads to way too many of these stupid games where I'm battering their goal and don't find a way through while they have one fecking counter and score. I really need to find a better way to play against these teams.

I'm also starting to hate my own rules now that I have to watch the bids for de Gea come in and can't do nothing about it.

On a positive note my transfer budget was upgraded and I will try to use it to bring back Pogba in the summer with all the star power drain to the team it will be good to at least bring on star in and luckily Pogba is a Manchester United home grown talent.

Lol now Bayern made a bid for Januzaj. Not in this life you Bavarian scumbags.

Okay so he asked me to guarantee him a CL winners medal or he would leave at which point I was starting to sweat a little. Luckily he could live with the promise that we would get to the latter stages of the competition and our best chance of winning the trophy was with him in the team. I already feared he would force his way out if I didn't promise him success within this season given how stupid interactions in this game are.
