Gaming Football Manager 2015

Have an 18 year old DM from El Salvador, arrived in January, it's now October.

Had the potential to be a Star DM, I decided to retrain him to WBR(having 0% proficiency), and now he's natural, he's rated as a potentially World Class wingback. :drool:
 
How can he be natural if he had 0% initially?

Anybody know of any good raumdeuters or inside forwards? I'm trying to recreate Ajax's 433 total football system, but I'm struggling. Ideally I'd like Dorian Rotariu but he's at PSV so he'll be hard to get. Also, has Adam Maher been nerfed badly in this game? He was quality but underrated on FM14 in terms of value to attributes, but his attributes aren't good at all in this and I'm in season 3.
 
Yeah fast strikers usually make good IF's if they can also dribble and cross a bit it's an added bonus. Think CR as the role model for an IF or even Reus if you want a lesser example.

Btw Di Maria is doing quite well as an IF for me as well. He just scored the winner against Liverpool.

Now I have to play Chelsea next. I hope I can keep Costa at bay as much as I did Balotelli this time those two usually always score against me whenever I play Liverpool or Chelsea.
 
Awesome first I keep Balotelli silent and now Costa. Looks like I'm getting somewhere. Also got the vital win over Chelsea with a 2-0 at Old Trafford which puts me 7 points ahead of them after 21 games. Still a long way to go but after a rough start to the season I now feel I can actually go on and win the league again.
 
So De Gea is joining Real at the end of the season. :(

Well time to give Scuffet some more playing time. He already developed fairly well but still not on de Gea's level and I have a feeling I will miss the lanky Spaniard sorely next season.
 
He is coming along quite well. Gave him a decent run of games this season and planing on giving him even more.

Here is how he looks right now.

Still has a 5 star potential after one and half season with the club so I hope it's accurate and stays this way. He might in the end turn out to be even better than de Gea.
 
Did anyone of you guys acutally have some success with the new team talk stuff that you can make during games? I always try an assertive "concentrate" on players who look complacent but it never has effect. Any idea what might work on those players?

It worked for me, "tighten the positions" and "show some character". But it seems that it doesn't work every time.

got a brilliant newgen keeper who I will probably discard for the same reason.

played a couple of league games today after taking a two month break from fm:
4:0 -> 6:0 -> 5:0 -> 8:1 -> 4:1 (even missed two penalties.) seems legit, if this keeps going I'll probably have to start a new save.
 
The financial side of the game has always been far too easy, at least if you make it to the top leagues.
 
I guess, English football is dripping in money.

Also, I just noticed, I have a 18 year old striker in my reserves, from San Marino, and he already has 18 apps for the national team. He's really good though, so I guess it makes sense.
 
It's not just for English football, especially once you reach the CL. I had a couple of save games with German clubs where the most ridiculous stuff was possible. Wages are another factor, you can keep renewing contracts for fun, because literally all your players happily play for peanuts at your club when they could get 2-3x the salary from Real&co.
 
Oh yeah, once you're in the CL, it's pretty mad. I think I had a save in 14 at one point with Roma I had like 4-500m a season to spend.....

My reserve squad would have been my closest challenge in Europe were they allowed to compete professionally themselves. :D

Tbh I'm not even sure if that stat matters at all, because my SK(A)s never went all Neuer on my opponents (as far as I can remember). But I play with much higher defensive line, offside trap and close down much more so it's a matter of principle for me.
 
In other news I felt it was time to give my most likely team of the next couple of years a run in my FA-Cup game against Leeds. Of course losing a derby never goes down well with the fans so I was a bit scared that this might backfire.

My team selection was:

Scuffet
Rafael -- McNair -- Evans -- Shaw
Fletcher -- Gaudino
Brandt -- Odegaard -- Januzaj
Rooney​

There is so much potential in this team. :drool:

I also might have played Neves instead of Fletcher if he would have been fit but he was out injured just as Wilson who by now is a really great alternative to Rooney just as Zivkovic. So atm I have 3 good striker options but only one spot which means I might have to sell one of Zivkovic or Wilson or retrain them to be a winger/inside forward.

P.S. they didn't let me down and won the game 5-0.

Finished 3rd, 1st,1st, 1st, 2 FA, 1 EC, 1 Supercup. Ridiculous records of 124 goals scored, 102 pts total. I wish they tune the AI to offer some fightback beyond first or two season.

Yeah, true. The only thing you can do is play 5th norwegian league or smth like that.

try sortitoutsi, got a decent facepack there yesterday. around 6gb though.
 
Got the full game for Christmas and starting with a United save as always, can't decide who to sign though... My FM tactics for United over the years have nearly always focused on wingers but on the demo this year I could only manage to win a game by playing a midfield diamond (doesn't help that direct passing now seems to translate to 'give the ball away'), so I'm torn between Verratti+DM or Reus+Depay. Or I might just sign a load of youngsters and wait for Strootman to get fit.
 
My Ajax-team is quite the force come the summer.. Brought in Ander Herrera in january, now I'm getting Jack Wilshere on a free this summer :D
