Gaming Football Manager 2015

Finally got my skin working again, if I don't feck anything up, and it stays with the icon sidebar on my new laptop in a few days, I'll be well happy.

To celebrate, here's Miguel González, sitting on 21 goals and 6 assists in 9 games.

EDIT: There's one more mod I'd like to make, but as of now, it's beyond my skill/knowledge.

Picked this guy up on a free 2 seasons ago and now he's worth £22.5m

Not regens but i picked Pereyra and Yarmolenko on a free.

So I've started getting bored of my Forest save which is weird because everything I've done up till now has been geared towards sticking it out long term with them with most of my current players under 24/25 and many have the potential to be great/world class.

Not sure where to go next or just to carry on for another season. Maybe I need a Pep style sabbatical.

Jaysus... Picked up Lucas Romero in my first transfer window for just north of £7 million. A season later PSG come up with this:

FqWIZpp.png

£54 fecking million! It physically pains me to reject it... With all the installments and add-ons I'm not going to see any money upfront, especially given that the board only puts 20% of transfer revenue into my transfer budget.

Just had an annoying situation. Jetro Willems was my best LB by far. Got bids now and then but always rejected them.

Turns out he had a 10 Million release clause which Juventus just activated

Brought in Konoglo as a replacement, cost me 16 Mil, which was not great but I was desperate for quality. On the upside I have took Feyenoord's two best players recently which is nice

My team ATM:

-------------Zoet-----------------
Arias--Stones-Balanta-Konoglo
------Kimmich--Winaljdum-----
--Narsingh---Maher---Depay--
------------Locadia---------------

@Red Stone Yeah his value rise is ridiculous, and the big spenders come calling for him almost immediately. That 20% profit is going to be pointless, he's never going to be sold for more than that. May as well try to get something like 15% of next transfer fee, or just try and get a few million pounds more instead of the profit clause.

Rejected it outright. He was immense for me the first season and is easily first choice in my plans for next season. I bought Matteo Darmian as a jack-of-all-trades back for the same amount to ease the pressure on Shaw during his first season and give Rafael room to injure himself every fifteen minutes. With Shaw doing his job and Danilo and Rafael being as reliable as time itself on the right back I put Darmian up for sale and got a straight-up £21,5 million offer, which is good enough for me in terms of money in this summer.

Also offloaded Zaha and Fellaini for a decent amount, so it's not like I need the dosh. As I said, my transfer budget won't grow much anyway because of the restrictions from the board.

This TNS save is starting to drain my enthusiasm already  walking the league at a canter each season, and qualified for the CL group stage for the second year in a row....this time with Bayern, Sporting, and Galatasaray or Schalke (i forget right now)

Not seeing any increase in attendance, and I already got spanked by Sporting in the first game. Not sure how long I can keep going through the same repetitive cycle before packing it in. Not sure what is going to change. My AM even won the coach of the year last season because I got bored and simmed so many games.

I had the same... Went to Bayern, played like another month in game and then never touched it again. Taking on new teams after being with one team for the first 6 years or so isn't that fun because you don't know the players really, the usual players you want to sign are old or not buy-able, you don't know what your team needs as most players are regens. Meanwhile with your current team you know your regens already, you have a team built up, you know what regens you are looking for, etc.
Probably a way to make it more fun would be to give yourself a challenge with that team, like try to go with only youth players and sell a few big stars in the transfer windows and then bed the youth players in.

Exactly.

Yeah, decided to stick it out for one more season but might try that too after, although I might start a new save altogether if all else fails.

You should see how your style of play changes or needs to change if you sign all left/right footers or all players over/under 6'2". I did it with United before, was great. Trying to build a decent team of left footers over 6'2" was difficult though!

Managed to finish 2nd in my first season at Southampton with 85 points (Chelsea pissed the league with 101.) Pretty happy with that, the weird part though was Burnley finished 14th and Sean Dyche won manager of the year! Chelsea got a record amount of points and I finished 2nd but got nothing :D

Bony was a good signing in the end, got him for 10mil and he scored 8 goals in 13 games, hopefully keep it up next season. Ward Prowse is amazing on this game. Just need to sign a couple players and think I can push on for the league next season, need a LB, RB and CB I reckon, got 25mil to spend cos managed to sell Ramierez to Newcastle for 12mil, hopefully be able to get rid of Osvaldo when he comes back off loan as well.

Still not entirely sure of my skin, just trying out backgrounds, what do you guys think of this?

Less glassy in appearance, but a bit clearer, and neater....

EDIT: Or sheer blue, maybe too blue....

Prefer the darker one. Either way, both look miles better than the default classic one!

I don't know Van Kessel, but Enes Unal was not what you wanted, bags of potential, but definitely not Prem ready.

Forgot I was so far in my save. Van Kessel scored 15 goals for me in the premiership this (2020) season on the right hand side, pushed out because of Enes.

Yeah, that's the one I think I'll stick with, doesn't clash with the blue buttons, pop ups and pages too, which is nice.

I'll have to look up Van Kessel, I know Unal can grow into a beast.

Surprised that attendances haven't gone up much.
Has your reputation increased? And have you started to attract better players yet?

I've just finished my first season. Won the double. Lost the Premier League cup semi-final on penalties.

Edit: Lost second set of Champions League qualifiers to Plzen. Then drew Twente in Europa League qualifiers, and got knocked out.

You've kind of convinced me to sim games. I never usually do, because I've never trusted it. But so far so good. I've made some cracking signings this summer - relegating half of last season's first team to the bench.
But I'm already tiring of it, and I've only done one year.

I'll see how the next couple of seasons go before I consider calling it quits though.
Want to have a crack or two in Europe.

Missed out on the europa league in my first season in the premiership with Barnet because of Newcastle winning the FA cup, pricks. I finished seventh, which was well above expectations. I was using Milwalls stadium for the season, but now my expansion is complete and I'm back to the tiny, shitty, and strangely empty yet sold out The Hive.

Sold Jesse Lindgard, Rooney complains, I pick one answer, and the whole team goes unhappy.

Fellaini complains about lack of football, tell him to prove himself, he tell me to do one and ask for a transfer
Carrick wants first team football, told him that he'll get occasional cup game, he goes free transfer

Anyone knows how to sort this? The amount of things they complain is beyond ridiculous

I've given up on FM15. The complaints are just too much and total bullshit.

It's so fecking random.

It depends on what you set your attributes as on your manager profile, the higher your level of discipline is set the less likely they are to come moaning about feck all.

Can anyone recommend a replacement for Falcao after season one? I used him as a poacher and he's scored a lot of goals. I'm debating on whether or not I should just put my faith in Chicharito because the defence needs fixing.

Wilson turns class usually, same with Barbosa if you buy him. Did you already sell Van Persie or Rooney? They're obviously both really good and can last a few years until Wilson develops.

Still have Rooney and RvP but Rooney has been so disruptive its ridiculous. RvP has been excellent. I really wanted to buy a player called Luka Jovic who is apparently class on this but he's agreed to join Dnipro :( Devastated! I'll look into Barbosa, thanks!

Barbosa, Aboubakar & Berardi are all class.

Thanks! I'll have a look now.

Also, how reliable are scout reports? My scouts don't fancy Barbosa, but they weren't mad about Laporte either but I signed him anyway and he got in the Team of the Season. He was exceptional. Now I've signed a player called Lucas Silva from Brazil for a decent amount of money because the scouts liked him and I'm starting to regret it. Haven't played him yet but I bought him purely on what the scouts said. His stats are really consistent but I think I might have made a mistake in signing him.
