Attacked the skin issue tonight, and got one I'm quite happy with. Nuu Rebooted, though I need to download the update that's compatible with the background pack, but it's no pressing concern.
Took a while to find one that allowed all the panels I wanted, the bigger attribute polygon and with at least relatively slick looks(all in Windowed mode). Zooming the text to 95% was a massive help. I could stand to adjust the attribute colours some more too, but again, no biggie.
Perfect chance to show you my "superstar" striker. This lad is quite interesting, potential to be a leading Premiership player.
I picked him up in the 2017 preseason, from Sligo Rovers for the princely sum of 18k. Tore up League Two in my promotion campaign(winning the JPT along the way), and Spurs threw a 1.2m bid at him, which I managed to talk up to 4.1m, season long loan back, and a free Friendly. He's been shite this season though.
If I could have got siam14() to have that larger attribute polygon, I'd have been even happier. It doesn't need all the panels as the main one is quick to flick, and looks even better.
The Alavanga ones aren't bad either, but their attribute polygon, while pretty, is small and mostly useless as a gauge.
@The Mitcher if your wingers are unrealistically high up the pitch and you want them to track back set them as RM/LM's - that more accurately reflects the tracking back duties that modern forwards have to do. I usually forgo it but it's worked for a lot of people.

If they're accomplished, I wouldn't even second guess playing them there, if they're competent, I'd play them there only if they have high decision making.
fecking hell, I just got a blatently onside goal ruled out! I mean the game even said he had scored, then somehow changed its mind. The replay had the bloody winger/fullback whoever playing him ONSIDE and there were centre backs ahead of my striker...that's bullshit.

Yeah, refs make bad calls, just like real life. Had a 35 yard screamer by a wing back called off the other day, for offside, sespite the ball having to pass 3 defenders. Also, players can gets sent off for tackles and such when the other teams player dived. Or bad peno calls pop up. I've had a few reds cancelled on appeal.

I'd say comically bad just like real life, but I've yet to see a player get 3 yellows in FM.

And it wasn't that situation either, the defenders were going towards the goal, not away from it, there were the full backs and maybe wingers and cm's behind the two centrebacks and my striker was lined up right beside the fullbacks when the ball was played. He scored as he got to the CBs.

Haha getting there, but it was a cross from my winger on that wing, and he was one of two guys and he was the one furthest forward, he would be where the goalie is, and those green shirts would be either side of him, and the two other guys at the front are roughly there. Literally, he gets right in line with the centrebacks and its called offside! I mean, I won the game, but it would have been 4-1!

In your one, it might have actually been correct then. Where was he before the winger got in position for the cross? Are you sure he didn't have a foot slightly past the CB's?

google game keys now. I used them to get FM14, they E-mail you a steam code. Worked out to be about £13. Much better than paying full wack through steam!.

Well, that was an unmitigated disaster, every time I loaded FM, or a save, that skin reset my panels setup.....
So I fecked about under the hood with the siam14 skin,cut out the custom attribute polygon stuff, and darkened the background overlay, leaving me with this, which I'm happy with.
Yes, my star CB may in fact be @Big-Oranje using a pseudonym....
I'd like to change that Player Status panel to one that shows match fitness and such, but I don't know how, that panel doesn't seem to be in this skin.
You can do it mid game, no hassle, I must have done it 20-30 times yesterday. As for how, there's a couple of ways, you can just copy the fines to your skins folder, or you can use the Steam Workshop, I guess there should be some handy videos on Youtube to show you in detail.

Had a great start to my third season in charge of Wolfsburg. Got the Bender twins in midfield, Draxler out wide, Balanta in defence, ter Stegen in goal. Decent spine.
Also got two cracking youth players Gordon Novak (RW) and Christoph Minkwitz (CB) who look like worldies.
