Gaming Football Manager 2009

Go to www.sortitoutsi.net, click on FM2009, and then on Graphics. Then you'll find facepacks, logos, etc. If you click on Superpacks you can find one for England, which includes a facepack, logos, competition logos, kits, etc. It's pretty good. Then just create a 'graphics' folder in your User Data folder (the default Documents/Sports Interactive/etc if you haven't changed anything), and extract.

There are some instructions, but they basically tell you what they always tell you, to untick 'use skin cache' (or something like that) and tick 'reload skin on confirm' (or something like that) in the in the sound and graphics settings in the game.

Yes, that's definitely a factor. But I don't think they found the PA average was the lowest, it was probably the highest, actually. The CA was the lowest of the top 4 (as seems to be true anyway right now), but some players just reached their too high potential all too fast and became world beaters within half a season.

Heh, just lost the Champion's League final on penalties to Barcelona. Had 24 shots on target and Victor Valdes got a match rating of 10.

So fecking frustrating you wouldn't believe!
 
I did a facepack yesterday but this one seems better (and more leagues).

Will it require me to start a new game or will it work in my save?

When i create the graphics folder, do i paste the folders with the images into the graphics folder, or do i have to paste just the images?
 
Just played Bolton on the opening day, i got feckin beat! 2 howlers by Rio.

Manucho did score for me though and then celebrated by running the full length of the pitch on his own! :lol:
 
is the 3D match engine making the game sluggish for anyone else ..
i wish they'd have an option to play just the 2D like 08 .. i know we can do it in-game , but its still slow for me

Keep an eye out for the likes of Bojan, Acquafresca, Ramsey, Insúa, Ramsey and Welbeck being released inexplicably at the end of your first season - apparently, fixing youth contracts has now introduced a new bug. :-/

I'm fairly sure the folders are there just to make it more orderly for you. So if you have graphics inside the graphics folder somewhere, they will work, even if you put them in a folder named "ballsack".

Did the same thing. Sold Diarra for 40m to Real, got Messi in for 41m.

For the first time ever, during all the years i've played fm, have i spent less than i've made. And i have actually brought in about 20 players over the course of 3 seasons.

Sold Carrick to Newcastle for 27m plus Michael Owen. I the loaned Owen straight out for £2 million and eventually sold him for £20m a season later.
 
messi is terrorising left side, Ronaldo rapping everyone on right. between them they have like 38 assists. great to watch.
