I get a kick out of relegating Manchester City, so...
There is no way, this can be categorised as cheating, Real time managers study tactics, video matches of opposition and tweak their tactics.
The tactics i extract are not exact ones the AI uses as it can pick up the tick marks, also no individual instruction.
Primarily its for analyzing what sort of passing, mentality, tackling and so on are being used by different manager.
I know there is assistant manager for this, but he is complete useless as you can't interpret various line he is on about. Why cant he just say in pure english that Arsenal play short passing , slow tempo and possession style football. But instead he goes on babling stupid sh*t. he cant't even pick dangerman, he picks denilson as most obvious threat instead of Fibberglass, adebayor and so on..
I decided to analyse my oppostion myself.
I see they hardcoded the FA's United-hate. My first four games in the second season are:

tough fixture mate, do me a favour , could you thrash Arsenal 3-0. they scored a late equaliser from 25 yrds out. i hate when it happens.
Anderson is just rubbhish in my game. I'm QPR and I turned down a chance to sign him.
I can't get City to offer any more than 17mil for Fletcher

I don't see how that's possible. His potential is -10, which means that in the absolute worst case scenario he'll have 170 potential ability. Granted, his stats might not always reflect that, but they have in my game. I think I got lucky, he seems to have hit the upper echelons of -10.
Can I get a screenshot of Anderson's stats in your game? His stats on my game are not that impressive, but he's doing well so far. 5 goals and 10 assists in half a season
His stats aren't super-impressive on my game either, but it just.. works. He scored 9-10 goals in the first season, so I'm satisfied with that. And my Assistant Manager (with 19 judge ability and 17 judge potential) says he's already a star for most PL clubs, and is going to get even better.

Ooh! I just signed a 19-year old Turkish ReGen. He's almost as good as Ronaldo, and has the potential to be as good. I also got lucky in the United ReGens this year, a couple Carricks, a Ronaldo, a Van der Sar, one better than Van der Sar, etc.

Does the patch include updated player stats?
I contains an "updated database", which I assume means player stats. But I'm sure I saw the Arsenal researcher say that the player updates weren't included before the January-window update.
I just spent £10 mill + Possebon on a 16 year old. He's English, a right winger, and he could be the next Ronaldo.
Oh, and remember that super-striker-ReGen I mentioned? Arsenal just countered it by.. buying Benzema for £30 million. And for some reason I can't offload Berbatov. I've tried as low as £45 million, but I might have to go lower. City don't seem to be looking.

Someone is complaining about denlson popping 30 yard screamers with ease... and you think the AM is wrong in saying he is a dangerman?
The game includes everything you need to be successful. Listen to what the AM says at half time and if your down by 1 goal you will almost always at least get a draw.
SAF wants Anderson back, rejected his £1.5m then £16.5m over 24 months bid. Now he's unhappy
By the way, one of the changes in the new patch is that it decreases the success of long shots somewhat. Maybe the frequency too. I've played some time after installing the patch, and I don't remember any more of the wild super-shots. You'll still get hit with a few every season, but these things do happen.
This is a bit weird. I think my early tough games against Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea might have been a good thing. I somehow managed to pull out victories in all the games, and I think they must have had a real drop in confidence. Arsenal just got beat 2-0 by a Boro that had lost all 6 games so far, and Chelsea struggled to draw against Pompey at home.
I expect this means they'll go on a 20 game winning streak later, so I'd best take advantage while I can
Also, my strikers are playing brilliantly, as opposed to most of last year, when they were terrible. Tevez has 7 goals and 8 assists in 9 games (4 and 6 in 6 in the Premiership), 4 goals and 2 assists in 6 league games. I'm leaking more goals, but that's partly because I haven't replaced Van der Sar yet. I've found a 15 year old Argentinian regen who can apparently become "a lot better than Van der Sar", but I think I might have to have someone temporarily

Thank fook they've sorted out the strikers in this patch. Keirison and Aquino are on fire for me post-patch.
Does the patch make my strikers better then? Berbatov is absolute shite in my game, and Rooney only just scored now after going over eleven consecutive games without finding the net. Tevez got arsey when I wouldn't sell him to Madrid, so I did and replaced him with two decent players but neither of whom are world class starters.
After a great start to the season I've started to haemorrhage points because I just can't score goals. Be nice if I'm able to again.

Yeah, strikers seem back to normal(previous games), for me at least. Although I've only played a month or two, I think.
Although I don't think the patch will solve Tevez getting arsey, that's just poor management.

Nah, £28m for someone his age. Since it's a computer game his position can be filled by lesser players without them being any less productive.
Not sure why I ought to be happy about his Manchester roots, but I'm happy if you're happy.
It does raise the point though-they've gone mad on regens in this game. In the last one you couldn't find a proper world class regen after about 10 years. In this, you can find dozens of them at will each season. I think someone on sigames is running an experiment to see how many wonderkid players you get every year if your coaches/facilities are top class. I think in the fourth or fifth year alone he got 6 wonderkids.

There does seem to be an awful lot of good regens. In previous games I've very rarely got players that even make it to the first team squad, but this time I think I've got 4 who could make the first team all together, and if they don't it will be because I signed a bit better regens from other clubs.
Guess they overcompensated. It has been a known problem in earlier FM's that after a while there's very few genuine quality players compared to the starting state of the db.

Do you mean the stamina attribute, or the condition%?
If it's the latter, regular games.

Cheers, yeah it's stamina I think. Gets tired too quickly during games.
Glad you guys are saying the strikers are sorted, i found on the previous patch the only way you could get any success form your strikers was by playing just 1 up front, every time i played 2 i never scored and they both got 5 ratings almost every game.
