Somewhat mystified that I roughly play the same team as four seasons and managers ago, rarely make any moves in the market and yet get no upside from a settled team.

Or is it that the manager/tactics switches nullify the gelling?

Or my drafting of clearly lesser backups to force the manager's hand has basically made it too comfy for the starters?

Is Wim even still at the club? There's absolutely no chance Mourinho will pass on playing such a unit.

By all accounts that's a decent team. They all have good ratings too so really struggling to see why I'm nailed to the bottom of the table every year. :lol:

Football's a funny game after all. Maybe you'll become a top team in a few years given how good they're performing.

Like a lot of sides, I have no fecking idea what the AI is doing. Redondo and Batistuta aren't starting for you anymore. I really would hope the 2020 match engine is better and more logical (plus the database itself certainly isn't based on Redcafe rating tiers for players). you may have to wait a few seasons for the sugar daddy to make a difference I think. I will return for a few more seasons next week but after S7 today, I'm going out of town so no updates until Monday/Tuesday

How is it that both Der Bomber and The King are two of the top scorers yet our GD is still negative? Are we really that reliant on them for goals? What's even more surprising is that Platini's stepping up his game yet we're still near the bottom.

What's going on with that back line?

Another baffling result. I guess now that what are good player ratings for normal FM are low for the legends league and a 7.00 isn't as good.

Not a single 1-0 in that list of results :lol: At least we're the most entertaining team in the league.

And no wonder we concede so many. We have a young Sol Campbell starting for us, and it looks like Arie Haan's really struggling as the anchor man. I also expected Müller to be playing up front with Law behind him, but oh well. It looks like Förster has too much to do in that back line, but at least he's developing into a leader.

After an 8-match winless streak, the team was bound to be angry. Unfortunately, your team was in the firing line. Sorry.
 
This definitely shows how important a managers playing style is.
My team has always been somewhere close, and Meazza was never in the stats.
As soon as Pep took over, he clearly put Meazza up front, we won the league by a big difference, with Meazza being top scorer.

After this, Pep leaves, Meazza is clearly back in midfield and we're in and around again
