Who cares, you said yourself it is a 10 year experiment. I'd be surprised if you make it to mid table PL in that time.
 
I’d genuinely rather go for two promotions to the PL in 10 seasons and see if we can get a European spot too.
 
I'd expect the League 1 sides to be in the PL within 5 seasons, maybe 3 or 4 with good business and the Championship sides to do it within 2.

Obviously depends how badly the AI fecks with our money.
 
If we reach 10 seasons and everyone still has the energy we'll continue. Just thought it sensible to set a timeline as they usually fade out otherwise.
 
I've figured out how to make a shortlist based on the CA range you all have. So I will do that and send you all the top 10 of your range based on transfer value.

Remember you would still have to pay the median of that transfer value plus their wages.

In three seasons you could hand-pick a world class spine. I think 1 is good. Your manager will make other signings for you.
 
Right watching the CL now. I'll say around 11am tomorrow I'll prob be looking to start the sim. Will do any other manager/player checks in the morning.

I'm not sure how it works really, but in my head if your club balance is 7m and then you spend 50m of that transfer budget you're going to be in the shit quite quickly.

Ok I've just added what was added to transfer budgets to the balance, as technically it gets drawn from that anyway so it's not extra.

Yeah maybe that's why the weren't spending anything. Financially prudent managers and financially unsound owners.
 
I forgot about Estevao, but I was looking for someone to make an immediate impact. I don't think we have especially high odds for promotion, but PL money is needed.
 
In December I'd like to increase my transfer budget to 10m, wage budget to 300k and club balance to 20m please. :)

Me too in regards to impact. I was always scared that the AI would spend a massive budget on League 1 crap that I'd need to get rid of in a season or two.
