I've noticed it stops recording your stats after 100 games/100 goals etc, probs just a minor issue but I hope they fix it pronto.

Live Season is shite, i turned mine off ages ago.

I play as Championship teams quite a bit and a lot of people see that im doing it so change to a lesser team, others still go ahead and pick United. Quite sad if you ask me although its funny as fook when i still beat 'em
Wouldnt say it makes the greatest amount of difference whether a player is like 78 or 85. I mean, it doesnt hinder me anyway.

And I think you've missed something... the ratings are down to the votes that are given on the website. Essentially its us, the player base, that decides who is in form and who isnt and for the most part, most of the in form and out of form changes I've seen on the two teams I play as most often (United and Valencia) have been correct.
Probably has something to do with his 1 goal in 8 matches he's partaken in since the start of the season allied with the fact he's been very much 3rd choice for United behind Rooney and Berbatov and missed games for Argentina due to picking up red cards.
Wouldnt say he's been in great form this season, though he has had some 'lively' matches.

It's the FIFA thread so most replies will be FIFA. I'm not gonna bash PES since I've only played the demo, but theres nothing wrong with FIFA 09 this year it's brilliant. I would recommend it.

I'm all about the online leagues now. Found some on the xbox.com forums, much better than playing season after season against the cpu.

Apparently the next 360 patch will make it possible to copy your entire disc to the hard-drive, with the disc only serving as validation. That will solve all my disc crappyness problems. I find myself playing the game less online, since I can't really be sure if it's going to quit on me. And that really gets me worked up when I'm in a tough fight that I'm currently winning. Ruins my day, that does

Played Fifa 09 for the first time today against a friend. Beat him once but was beaten 3 times. The game is fairly good. I hate it when play becomes scrappy though because the camera moves around too fast and it's hard to see where the ball is. Also the swerve on corners and free-kicks is so laughable and unrealistic. I still prefer PES gameplay and although I'll be buying neither as I don't have a next-gen console, I still believe PES is the better game this year. Just my two cents worth.

Yh, i suggested that in the Fifa 08 thread. It will work better than the tourney's imo.
The last tourney we had didnt go down so well. Most people lost interest after about 2 games.

you know when you're in the middle of a season for your be a pro, why doesn't it let me change the name and appearance of the player in the create menu. Plus all the experience points I used during the season weren't transferred to the player in the main menus
