It was the nations group of 4 I completed. Still got the league one to finish.

Not sure what’s changed but I’ve gone from a skill rating of between 12-1400 since release to now just over 1800.

@Macern Upamecano was secured for 306k and I’m now looking in to getting Lafont. Just need to sell my Immobile and Insigne and that should give me the cash even if it looks like his price has gone up from where it was at last night.
I noticed a winger last night from the HL which seems to be going under the radar as he is going for 60-90k and eventually I plan to get that ST Mbappe so need a replacement RW and 87 Pepe looks decent his finishing is an 88 and he seems quick. Didn’t get that much time to look at him.
Current Dilema, I now have IF Jesus, IF Rashford and Aubemyang all ST. Haven’t used Auba yet but one probably needs to go but I love both the Rashford and Jesus cards.

I wanted to do something similar, using Gomez/Dybala to bring in Messi. Need a bit more currency, though Rashford keep. He might get POTM and his IF could be needed. Plus he might get a stat boost.
I've only used Rashford but I've read others opinions on him and basically a lot reckon he's a better version of Auba.
Rashford POTM is live, I think. I saw his 20 game loan card when I just logged in.

He looks more expensive than my 91 Hamsik was. Seems kinda mad, but he looks good to me... Surely his headliner card is the one to buy, though?

Anyone elses Player instructions completely reset after the squad download today? All my tactics were the same except all player instructions have defaulted.. nearly cost me my first game of WL until I noticed at half time!
FS Cutrone is proving effective so far.. 4 wins from 4 in WL so far, scoring 7. Headers, timed finesses, low hard shots etc, plus his dribbling/agility is great for such a target man striker.

Wonderful regarding Upamecano. If you get Lafont as well you’re going to have a ridiculus team in every part.
This must be the best advice I’ve ever recieved in FIFA. I’ve honestly saved around 14 out of 15 penalties during games using that goalkeeper movement trick. I just played a shootout and followed your recipe and I won 4-1. If I might add a little tweak to how to save the penalties, I don’t move the goalkeeper to the middle before diving. If I dive from the right I’ll catch both penalties going in the middle and in the opposite corner (unless they are aimed really far to the side, but that hasn’t happened yet).
I’ve had a shocking start to the WL, can’t buy a win. Coming up against icons and other ridiculous players.
For someone who's played Fifa casually since the 90s, it's fine for me, but if it were my main game, and I wanted to take it seriously, I probably would've thrown my controller through the screen by now.
Will there be new Futswap cards added at 6? I only need one more for Jesus.

Makes sense. Probably 200k less than this would coat unless you have the players in untradeables to complete the sbc. As much as I'd like this card I'm giving it a miss, just got his 84 and it's doing fine. The Arnautovic card and Calvert Lewin offer better value imo, but i want to keep a core of united players.
Pretty sure there will be a sbc and three swap objectives. I think there are always a sbc and three objectives each week.

After a bit of play with Upamecano I’m a bit undecided, when my team are pushed up he’s been excellent but he handles like a bit of a tanker and if you’re defending in your area he seems very slow to react or move. Hasn’t helped that EA seem to be doing their thing where defenders inexplicably move or instead of giving you control of the guy closest to the ball it gives you someone miles away.

Hm, yeah don’t hesitate to sell him if he doesn’t perform for you. Stats often lie. He has low marking and reactions, maybe that’s the reason why he’s slow to react/move.
Anyway, both teams look impeccable apart from maybe Martial. I don’t think he’s that good. He didn’t score enough for me. It could be just me though.

@christy87 I’m buzzing right now. His stat boosts changed from passing to dribbling. His passing only got reduced to 88, pace went from 90 to 93 and dribbling went from 82 to 93

84 Jesus is a legit god. I believe.
The way I’m playing now with the false 9 keeping he and Mbappe wide and forward it would be handy if he was faster as every man and his dog seem to catch him but it’s the same for Mbappe so what ya going to do against rubbish EA mechanics.
Other than that he is probably my most prolific goal scorer just coming off of the left, a little shimmy, then slotting it in the far corner but sometimes players just work for people and others not so much.
2 things, just came across a guy using HL Sane and Toty Mbappe as a 2 upfront and it was horrible. The runs they were making and The passes he was finding I have no idea how he was doing it. If I was to try these passes they’d get cut out but somehow he was threading passes through the eye of a needle and the were like, lofted/driven through balls which I haven’t really seen before. But once they were through there was no catching them.
The 2nd thing FS players, do their ranking not show or something as at the wait screen where it give you your team stats like attack/mid/def my defence shows 79 where the average should probably be 87?
Yeah the team rating (not the overall rating but the rating for def/mid/att) has always been completely messed up, don’t pay attention to that.
If anyone of you is looking for a chepish CB for your Serie A team have a look at Halloween Caceres. He looks really good for a 30k player.

Yeah this happens every game, I know it’s coming so immediately use analog to switch to the CB who is always the one behind and bring him forward to where Marcelo is.
I never let in a goal on corner, and that’s why. I drag TOTY VVD to the near post manually and he wins most headers.

I have Pogba in my team and he's always in the box defending corners so I can always manually move him to the near post but if the game puts all your big players outside the box your pretty fecked.
The obvious easy fix to this is to have an option in the tactics to choose which players stay back on corners but knowing EA nothing is that easy.
