I think I really must have only started playing FUT in December when I finished RDR2 and this is only my 2nd Fut champions so I’m new to the whole experience but most of the mail I have received since I started were all good.

Last night playing I went on a run and won 8 in a row and in the 9th game I’m up 2-0 in the 75th minute and something weird happened. All my players started running in slo mo and he scored 3 goals in that 15 minute fifa spell. I pulled 1 back to put it in to extra time then I quickly scored another and then the real hijinx started.

So it seemed as if there was an invisible shield around his players as I could see my guys trying to wrestle the player but they weren’t close to him even when they should have been, they just stopped short of making contact but his players didn’t seem to be effected at all. Just looked like they were running with no hinderance and then a bit later even when manual switching players it wouldn’t change to who I wanted or the closest to the ball. He went on to score 4 goals in that phase of play and he wasn’t even really that good.

My guess is there was some sort of serious lag that wasn’t being adjusted but speaking of this the amount of times I put someone clean through then that skip sequence where it resynchronises happens is happening far too much for it to be a coincidence :lol: #FIFAconspiracystories
 
@Andersons Dietician I'm 100% convinced people can turn that shit on. 3-0 up with 10 mins to go in my game to go on a 9 unbeaten run and have a chance at starting 10-0 the game goes to shit, takes over a second to recognise anything I do and he wins 4-3, soon as he scores his 4th the game goes back to normal
 
@Andersons Dietician Just check out Reddit, definitely not a conspiracy, the game is designed to frustrate people into thinking these things can be defeated by upgrading their teams. The speed up lag you described is the worst, couldn't play at all last night because of it. My general rule is to get to 14 wins and stop, any mofo' that plays 30 games a week as a "pro" player really do earn their money IMO because at times the gameplay can be staright up tortureous!

Sounds good to me. I'll probably save my coins for the month & go for him... Gomez as CAM behind POTM Aguero and CL Dybala? Sounds fun, if not a bit lightweight.

I've got Crespo so can get him on full chem in place of FB Tevez if I don't decide to swap my full team around again.

I've been on the verge of selling my team and buying Ronaldo and just fitting the side around them from there.
 
I hate playing against Alex Sandro or using him, every time the commentator mentions his name my Alexa pipes up saying there is no incoming call and I have to tell her to shut her mouth and know her role.

Was 18-4, playing the best I had all year, thinking I would surely get 23 wins for the first time, but I absolutely fecked it again. Turning point was logging on last night with that record and being faced with what only could be described as a god team, icons and TOTYs in every position and 95 CR7,i was blew a 2-0 lead with 10 minutes to go, only for me then to take the lead in Extra time, then to concede immediately from the consequent kick off and then in the 121st minute to a CR7 header from outside the box.:lol:

Followed this up with 2 absolute horror shows due to the shambles I just endured going down 2-0 and 3-0 in first 15 minutes against relatively similar teams. Ended up scraping 20 wins, with 2 to play.. hate this game so much:D

As a Serie A team user, I am just thankful they released Bentancur and Cutrone as apart from Ronaldo or seeking a hybrid, no upgrade was forthcoming to the team, but these two are great. Cutrone scoring 30 in the 28 games proving his worth.

Played drunk again on Friday and lost about 8 and won about 6. Swapped my team about 3 times during the drunken games. I'll never learn. Not changing jack shit from now on as I went on a good run yesterday to hit 14 and only lost 1 I think.

@P-Nut Cutrone is the best "put the ball in the net" striker I have used. However, he offers very little in terms of making a yard, dribbling etc. If you tee him up... its a goal. Unbelievable finisher. He was scoring from crosses and I didn't even have him selected/marker on him

I have Felipe Anderson playing RS for me now in a 41212 and I thought he was unreal. I cant remember if he played on Friday but he was my best players yesterday when I went on a run to redeem my weekend league.

Regarding front post headers. I now have Van Dijk, he just wrecked whoever is at front post so having no issues at the minute.

Current team in game (I swear I am not changing unless I get big coins).

Do you have a prem team? I think Lucas POTM is hard to beat in that position. His shooting is very good and obviously has pace and dribbling. I'm loving Felipe Anderson at ST along side Arnautovic.

I do but I didn't do the SBC for Lucas so he's not an option unfortunately. Don't want City or Liverpool players either, that's why I'm thinking Felipe Anderson. He's a handful when I've played him and his stats looks pretty good to me.
Just looking on futbin and he actually might only be 5 chem as a RW/RF. I'm sure I've read that you can get him to 7 chem there but not sure how.

Basically I want to replace Bernardo Silva. If I made Felipe Anderson the LW then I'd have the same issue with Martial. Just wanted to know if anybody had played a player with lower chem and still found them useful.

If a player has 7 Chem and the squad chem is 100, there basically is no difference. For example, using FUTbin and comparing Felipe Anderson with Hunter with 7 chem and 10 chem.. the only difference is +1 higher rating in shooting, positioning and finishing and +4 in volleys and penalties, these differences are going to have basically no effect on performance really.

Cheers mate, that's what I wanted to know basically.

When I do the squad builder on FUTbin he's coming out at 5 chem on RW, but I read that you can get him to 7 chem there...I just can't remember how to do it! Think it was something to do with the manager you select or something like that...or I might have dreamt it.

Add in loyalty and manager nation/league?

With Loyalty, player will gain +1 chem, this will be achieved by obtaining the card throught SBCs/packs untradeable versions or by playing 10 games.

Player can also gain +1 chem if the manager has either the same league or nationality. So either a Brazilian manager or a manager from the PL will give him +1 chem.

I think if you start off at 4321 for example the best bet is to have him with the matching formation. So with 4321 you want him as a LF, as he will be in RF @pocco
 
The Cech SBC is pretty decent. Did it for 60k ish with some of my untradeables.

Got Mata out of both the packs as the board player :lol:

Are the packs worth it? I cant fit Cech in to my team. I have Juan Jesus and Alex Sandro on th eleft side of defence.. Van Dijk and Walker on the right with Alisson in goal. I don't think I can change that unless IF Sokratis is a monster
 
Another stupid cash grab from EA. I’m taking a break from the game until at least friday. The scripting is just too much at the moment. Not that it’s going to change, but a break will help in having to deal with that.
 
How on earth do you guys get such good teams? I'm new to it, been on FUT for about a month. I win the majority of games but my team is just not very good.

I have no weak points but I just have no standout player.

I've played around the same time as you & my team is probably close to 1m now. The big thing for me was those 1000 coin boosters to get started, & after that, it was just participating for weekly rewards. Nothing more, really.

Oh, and SBCs.

Use the coin boosts from the catalogue, once you've used all of them you'll have an extra 75-80k to play with. It's actually a good thing you don't have a single stand out player and it's a more balanced team, otherwise the opposition will try to mark your standout player from the game.

Thanks for the heads up on the coins boosts. Will check that out tonight. My team is a Prem team. So far I play a 433 with Zaha as CF, Sterling on the right, Bernard on the left and Lingard as the CAM. Any good shouts to replace these? (Especially Bernard, he feels great when he has the ball but has the strength of a small child). I've got about 25K to spend but all the top players seem to be 5X this.

I've taken the reward packs so far instead of weekly coins and basically won nothing. I did get Skriniar but I sold him to pay for Sterling and Valencia for the right side of my team.

I'm not versed on the PL much, especially when it comes to the cost of specific cards, but I can tell you that 99.9% of people will tell you to get coins over packs from your weekly reward, and that other 0.1% know getting coins is the right thing to do, but tell you to get packs anyway for a laugh :lol: (I'm taking packs from now on cuz screw it :D)

Get Rashford or Martial, both will be much much better and costs very little. I really liked Ndidi in CDM for me when I started this year and he wowould costs very little. Bailly and Sanchez (Spurs) cost very little and are very good.

I preferred Shaw at LB to anyone else. Fabinho is very very good as a defensive mid and was once about 100k, hes now about 25k

This is something I’ve been wondering recently packs or 52k in coins, unfortunately I’ve gone pack every time just for that one chance, one chance there might be something special in the pack but the smart choice is surely the cash.

Cheers, I will get Rashford in there tonight. I think once I get another decent winger and a Striker it will be much more fun to play.

I lucked out and got an Icon and Toty DeGea in a pack so combined I was able to sell them for about 1.5 mil so that gave me most of the change I needed to build my team and then just working the market buying players on the cheap and the selling them later.

I bought HL Pepe and Lala last week and I noticed yesterday I could make about a 30k profit on either if I decided to sell and my IF Rashford and Martial seem to be going for 20k over what I paid for them so it’s just working the market.

Next month if Aguero continues as he is I would imagine he will be POTM so would make sense to buy City players now and Argentinians who are say 84 or higher then if he becomes POTM sell them at an inflated cost and hope a load of people decide to take your buy now options.
