Which is why you sell the chelsea players friday morning or late thursday night when everyone starts paying premium prices in anticipation of the Hazard SBC. Or gamble and keep them hoping it is Hazard and get more.

When new squad builders are announced it makes certain players more indemand as specific criteria need to be met to complete the SBC. Sometimes that criteria is a squad value over 80 or 83. If its 83 then someone like Mata will be in demand as he has a highish rating.

All of this is under the assumption that the next round of champions league squad builders (in two weeks time) will feature Utd vs Juve as one of the two marque match up SBCs. The reason for this is last time they chose one fixture from Tuesday and one from Wednesday. Our game is the biggest game on that tuesday, plus its Ronaldo and PLUS its United and Juve. Sounds a dead cert to me. This means United players and Juve players will be needed for the SBC. Last time out Liverpool players were selling at 9-10k each, when ordinarily some of them sell at 1k. I’ve stocked up on Mata and Shaw, well as much as i can afford, which isn’t very much as I’m new to this myself. None of this might work out!

I was in vacation overseas so today was my first FUT 19 day. I opened a couple of packs from the ronaldo edition and bam! Zanetti 87. Got nice 400k without playing a game at all to get me a nice starting fut team :D

The ship may have sailed on some of the players. I picked up my matas at 1500-1600 each and already he’s at 2500, or he was last night. Its about finding bargains, but seeing though im new to this too Im not very good at predicting. I have been told hradecky below 2500 is a good investments for the incoming bundesliga POTM and league squad builders, as an example. Google futchief, some great info on there.
 
Sat and done the loyalty glitch bored off me head last night to complete the "Tough" SBC in hybrid nations.... Took me about 30 mins or so all in and packed that 81 rated Fernandes from CSKA... Give me something to kick start my FUT ffs. On Thursday I am going for untradeables also

Its fecking hard this year but not impossible, I still drop the odd game here and there but win at least 3 of every round of games now. The game is about overloading the middle defensively and waiting for a mistake. You can't try and win the ball back or you'll get Brazil 1970'd every time.

A few tips:
  1. Play something like 4231,
  2. Fullbacks (stay back while attacking),
  3. All midfielders (stay back while attacking)
  4. All attackers/striker(s) (come back on defence)
  5. Most important of all, while the AI has the ball control your striker and only your striker. Run him back into the middle and run around cutting passing lanes through the centre, force them wide (an pray your keeper doesn't do anything silly off the cross). The only thing to stop the Brazil 1970 attacking AI, is the West Germany 1990 defensive AI.
  6. If the AI get a shot off its always a perfect timed finish and will go smack into your top corner.
  7. Never ever, ever, ever and I'll add another ever for good measure, use 2nd man press, hitting R1 or whatever its called on xbox at any stage without the ball = goal for the AI.
  8. Never press R2 with the ball, sprinting with the ball will get you dispossessed too easily and your team will be out of shape, the result? You guessed it = goal for the AI
  9. Leading on from 8, pass slowly and boringly all the way up from your box, moving your teams forward in stages, I do this between the CB's, FB's and DM's, aim for 90% possession and to be bored silly, when you get to the edge of the box, don't try and play in your forwards, knock the ball around safely and carefully until someone get a yard or two near the edge of the box and timed finesse it to the far corner. Right footed player shooting from the left of the box to the top right corner, left footed player shooting from right side to the left. Think every goal Mahrez has ever scored in real life.
  10. Get a tall strong striker for headers from corners, I have IF Mandzukic and he's way better than Gabriel Jesus for Squad Battles despite his slow speed.
  11. Repeat the above, never try anything different, skill moves don't work (except step overs), pace doesn't work and pray.
 
I've got me 30 Ross Barkleys between 2.5k to 3k and about 20 Alcacers for around 1.6k-1.8k so should make a tidy profit when totw drops.

@El General 1994 - Fabinho is the best midfielder I've used so far, in midfield in particular this term, strength > pace by a lot.

This doesn't reflect my experience at all. I win the ball back by pressing and then get up the pitch as quickly as possible with driven through balls down the wing. I have my striker, 2 wingers and CAM in instructions to stay forward at all times. Total opposite to you :lol:

Same way I play against the AI. Let them have the ball and then counter quickly

I have bought quite a few Loftus-Cheek and other Chelsea players because of this. I think Hazard is a shoe-in for the POTM

I've scored and conceded more bicycles kicks and scissor volleys in less than two weeks than I have in Fifa 08-18.

Bale and Ronaldo with two high profile ones and EA litter the game with them to appease snotty 8 year olds.

Thats because all the top pro's won their 30 games in WL this weekend, had they struggled it'd be changed in a heart beat. Interesting that 16 people on PS4 won 30/30, never saw close on that number get 40 on the old method.

Just got Aubameyang in a pack. Already have Kane as my striker but I guess he’ll be an amazing back-up.
 
Auba might be the most expensive EPL striker, think he's marginally dearer than Aguero, though I might be wrong. He's always pretty deadly too.

Tempting to go to a narrower front three and make him an RF or something.
 
I was struggling to get used to this Fifa so I finally caved and now I switch to 41212(2) in game as soon as the game starts. And I've won almost every game in division rivals since then.

I feel disgusting :(
