Gaming FIFA 19

I always get 2 teams and just rotate. More fun that way as you arent always using the same team, and you can build different teams if you want. One ex-yugo but mostly Bosnia team, one mostly United team.

Yeah I did. I think it was a rare players pack that I opened which is 12 gold rare players. Godin was the highest rated player so he was the walkout, it was only when I opened the rest of the pack I realised Pogba was in there too.

Think I'm going to head back towards this, just use 1 team for weekend league though as there is always a team I prefer using.
 
Are people still getting weekly packs if you pre-ordered? All 30 of mine seem to have come at once.

Ive bought a ton of Mata’s, now thinking to buy loads of Darmians as he may be an attractive buy as he’ll link with a few italian Juve players?

Such an impulse buy. I did the same thing. Playing Career and some other offline stuff. Little changes to the gameplay to the point that it's noticeable, yet, after a week of having it the game feels like I'm playing Fifa 17 again! FFS!

Yeah that's not a bad shout I might have a look at him.

Only problem being if full backs aren't required, same reason I didn't go for Pereira as it could be the same problem.
 
Just played crgboy007 in division rivals (finished 75 in the world in WL just gone), his team is just insane. Prime icon every position, which ended up being the only reason he won. I was leading 1-0, then my keeper had a brain fart and in the end my players just lost stamina and i lost 3-1.

Its good to know that if you can compete against pros with a normal team, but sucks to know you'd need to spunk thousands to beat them
 
Doing a career mode with Norwich, disabled the first summer window. Had a bad start (won just 5 of the first 13 games) but changed to the 3-4-1-2 after a 3-0 defeat away to Forest and have since won 12 of 15 games. Currently 2nd in the Championship in February with three players signed on free transfers for the summer (Tozé, Augusto Fernandez, Thulani Hlatshwayo).

Just played headers and volleys with a mate. Great fun actually playing a human who isn’t an expert at the game or an AI.
 
I have to admit I don't miss the grind of W/L but I do miss the victories against teams full of primes. Or opening a random pack and pulling out Pogba.

Going down to 30 games has made it much more doable.

Dont go back to it, wait until your life settles down. Fifa wont disappear tomorrow, you can buy and play it whenever you want in the future. I will skip this version too.

I decided against buying it as I’ve watched a few videos and it just doesn’t look fun it actually feels like a weights being lifted not being tied into the EA bullcrap or the Ultimate team grind.

Only played it once with my mate and finished 2 - 2. Was decent fun!
 
I'm really close to buying KDB, will be getting him in a couple of days, would fit nicely alongside with Kante in the team.

I went against a team with 79 rated in division rival 3 after 9 winnings streak in a row, I was 85 rated but he completely outclassed me and were outplayed anywhere on pitches, like I literally can't lay finger on him, he has 77% possession at end of the game, I changed to the high pressure, I couldn't even stop him as he'd be tearing my defence apart, I could be down 6-0, he gets on 1v1 with my goalkeepers 3 times, he would never want to shot but would try to dribble, its lucky for me, most of his dribble just failed and changed to normal, . I knew high pressure is never an answer, that makes me feel like shit and amateur to him. Luckily, I scored a goal that assisted by his goalkeeper, I have 2 shots whole time, 1 shot 40 yards away and other shot that I scored a goal on their mistake. In the end, he won comfortably :(. No matter how high rate team is, you can always beat the best team.

Is Gundogan really good? I mean 86 rated card, not sure whether if it is an upgrade for Herrera, especially with the defensive work rate.

How does this work? Why would these players be suddenly in demand? I know we have a CL match with Juventus coming up but how does that affect demand of players on FUT? Is it due to SBCs? Sorry for the questions. I'm playing FUT for the first time so a bit confused.

Well at the moment his demand is low because he’s an ordinary card. When new squad builders are announced it makes certain players more indemand as specific criteria need to be met to complete the SBC. Sometimes that criteria is a squad value over 80 or 83. If its 83 then someone like Mata will be in demand as he has a highish rating.

All of this is under the assumption that the next round of champions league squad builders (in two weeks time) will feature Utd vs Juve as one of the two marque match up SBCs. The reason for this is last time they chose one fixture from Tuesday and one from Wednesday. Our game is the biggest game on that tuesday, plus its Ronaldo and PLUS its United and Juve. Sounds a dead cert to me. This means United players and Juve players will be needed for the SBC. Last time out Liverpool players were selling at 9-10k each, when ordinarily some of them sell at 1k. I’ve stocked up on Mata and Shaw, well as much as i can afford, which isn’t very much as I’m new to this myself. None of this might work out!

Got one off the SBC. Probably win one for winning division rivals or something and the weekend league over the month. Other than that have you checked the weekly objectives?

You get one for finishing gold 3 and above in squad battles this week.. Not sure for the others. Didn't play at all since Thursday so missed whatever was over the weekend.
 
Did the marquee matchups since you can get pretty much everyone for minimum bid prices so was really cheap (like probably around 12k combined). Got IF Mandzukic and some other 10k priced in form plus all the other players you get from it, so definitely worth doing. Heard Mandzukic was beastly so tried him next to Dzeko in a 4-4-2... Amazing :lol: Wing play for days. Mandzukic wins (and scores) pretty much every header while Dzeko is also very solid. Especially with Giggs crossing it into them :drool:

I'm running Belotti and Lautaro Martinez up front right now, I'm going to buy Mandzukic and see how he does. I've always liked using players like him in Fifa.

EDIT: With an Anchor chemistry style he's an 83 rated CB :lol:

Serie A is so cheap for a great squad. Gomez, Mertens and Immobile all rapid, great finishing and good passing with the cards I put on them, and cost me 145k.
Just need Sandro and IF Cancelo and my team is where I want it, apart from Dybala and Ronaldo of course

This prompted me to do the marquee match ups and packed Alaba who i sold for 81.5k. :)
