Anyone tried 4231 narrow?

A lot of people use it, including pros. Tass who’s one of the top 5 players in the world thinks it’s the best formation objevtively speaking, although he doesn’t use it himself.

I think it’s one of the best formations defensively. It’s also quite balanced in attack with two semi-wide CAMs, though I struggled to create enough chances using it. I regularly face it in weekend league and I often struggle to score against people who use it. I’d give it a go if I were you.

Did they change the rules of DKTs or something ? I just noticed yesterday I only have max 6 players from the same league in the team. That means I'll have to buy and change many things in my team to be able to play and get the chemistry right, but I tried to play in them earlier on few weeks ago and they were permitting anything ?

Some days they’ll have certain requirements for your team, other times none. They just randomly pick like all silver or only 4 players from one league etc.

Tournaments might have different entry requirements. You can go into the calendar menu on fut champs to see the requirements for the tournaments tomorrow and thursday. Maybe they suit your current team.

On an unbeaten streak for once now.. finally got the team to 100 chem and have a back 5 of Gaya, Umtiti, Laporte, Giminez and Semedo. Semedo feels very flimsy but he's scoring every game due to his pace and finishing ability.

Up front, Ben Yedder behind Origi and Correa (who is a beast).

With the 3 CAMS? I use it, got SIF Icardi with Mertens, Hamsik & Gomez in behind. Works well, very balanced.

Why why why when you bring the keeper out slightly and the opponent tries a lob do the keepers just dive straight away instead of back peddling further and catching it? So fecking annoying.

Different DKTs have different requirements. Usually there aren't any but some weeks you need to meet them.

Only formation I’ve used. The LAM and RAM don’t really stay narrow but they do help out on defence. I play Rashford and Jesus there and it works a treat.

Playing terrible since the weekend.

Failed to qualify for the weekend league in 8 attempts. Never once made the final. Been unlucky with the draws. Played a guy with 6 90+ players and 2 88 rated icons today in the first round. Dude seriously has to be qualified and has no reason to be there.

Yeah you can, although it’s more profitable to play div 1. I haven’t played DKT since the first week or two.

So its just hit me that mid-range players from like 5K-60K.. EPL has shitloads more than La Liga.

Is it worth transitioning my La liga squad to prem once I've got a decent amount of coins under my belt?

BTW brough Carvajal and sold him one game later, Semedo was much more influential.

I’ve done the opposite as of late, found La Liga to be a breath of fresh air since selling my Prem side. In terms of ratings, Prem league does have more going for it in mid range - but the prices don’t justify it.

Pogba at 500k is mental for instance. I create more and cover more ground with my 80-90k Modric with 180k PTGS Casemiro mopping up begins. Let down in la Liga is Messi, not great at all. Ronnie is insane.

Really? I don’t feel any difference in 90% of games when the opponent isn’t lagging in divisions, so I tend to play divisions just because the opposition is better and I can test myself and the team properly, and obviously the rewards being better

Only Laudrup 89, who is an LM/LF. Laudrup 85 i never tried, he has the pace, but the shooting doesnt look too great. Plenty of icon AM options to try out though

It’s not that surprising, and I imagine it’s astonishingly easy for EA to simply just control the market.

If I were you, i'd spent 1.6 million on an amazing team and 200k on a solid one. You have to try out some icons, and they do hold their price pretty well. I've had Maldini, Larsson, Roberto Carlos and currently playing with van basten, made a 15k loss on Larsson but if i were to sell Van basten now id profit 30k. They play so much better than the other cards and are just generally more fun to use.

Well basically it's spending 1.1m combined on De Gea and Messi, using them in both, then having two 300k teams around those 2. Messi is the reason I'm doing it, as I did this for a bit last year but I love using him in Fifa's and plays better then pretty much anyone bar Ronaldo (though I enjoy using Messi more). I had Shevchenko earlier, was a beast but wasn't that fun to use. Tried Henry's cards and wasn't too crazy about them tbh. Rio's center back cards were easily the best in the game though, I just wouldn't spend that much on a center back.

I had fun with Carlos. Whenever my opponent paused, I would move him further up the pitch. He went from LB to CDM to CAM to ST a couple of times and was brilliant in every position, but especially CDM.

Van basten is just a cheat code though. His att position, finishing and composure is the best combined in the game at the moment I think.

I found him to be terrible. He doesn’t have the speed or dribbling to get into good shooting positions

Saul depending on price might nudge Isco out of my side. His normal card is great but lacks a bit of finesse, so his IF should be great.

Meh, have untradeable Kante already so no point. Also I strongly dislike using random stupidly OP players like that who I'm not crazy about in real life. Smalling last year I didn't even use all that much I think. Haven't used Jesus once this year since everyone uses him. Martial is one of my few exceptions, since he's probably my favourite player.
