It’s shite. Got 2 wins in a row then the next 3 games have against teams with at least 4 icons. It definitely does not match you against people with similar records.

They will have paid real money for them icons though. I've had to give it up for the night before I snap my controller.
Need to learn to defend against that crappy passing as I get frustrated and go hunting the ball too often.
Don't know what joy people can get from building the same attack over and over again every time they get the ball though. I'm bored of defending against it I know that!
Yeah its probably why I preferred PS4 to xb1 over the last 4 years because no legends as most of them are overpowered. From a competitive point of view it’s good for the pro PS4 players as I remember the mess from last years game when they faced Xbox one players in tournaments. So it’s nice for them to get used to the legends into their team.
But it’s what Fifa is nowadays. It’s pay 2 win. A few years ago it wasn’t as extreme as it was now.

I've managed to sell all mine but only for what I paid for them really.
Once you figure out how to defend the one-twos between their strikers it gets really easy. I’ve found out switching to the center back closest to the ball after they’ve played the first pass in a one-two and then closing down the striker works brilliantly. Most people don’t switch player when this happens, instead they follow the striker who made a pass and is heading into space. This gives the other striker a lot of time on the ball, and they won’t expect you to switch to the other CB and go for a tacke.
It's like the ball enters some sort of vacuum when he plays the through ball where my defenders aren't allowed to enter and pops back out of it at his strikers feet.
I literally could have played the same person 15 times yesterday everyone plays that similar.
Shots across goal are OP as feck. The ones where you're running slightly away from goal and shoot back on yourself. They fly in the top corner every time, it's just creating the time and space to do it.
Nowhere near as OP as ground shots. Keepers jump out of the way most of the time
I’ve played 12 matches and only faced one team with icons, those being the SBC ones. Must’ve gotten lucky.
If you’ve got a team full of icons where is the desire to play the game? The grind to get a better team is the main reason I play.
Im going do an experiment based on someone mentioning a championship team and see how handicap and scripting favours me.
Currently 5-1 in WL. Love my 1st team but a little bit bored of it.

Got SBC Cavani, plus Ramos in the packs whose worth 250k. Bought the SBC weeks ago for about 70k.
Got the Saudi SBC too but nothing exciting in the packs.

It’s all guess work, everyone was convinced it was MLS this time round, I’m struggling as I have 70 in my trade pile.
It’s another three weeks till the next set drop so maybe pick up MLS while everyone dumps them?
Handanovic is the best keeper I've used. He actually makes noticeable saves. Saved two point blank bullet headers in a match for me that nearly made me say "wow".

I've got too many MLS players
. To be honest Bundesliga, Serie A, PL, Ligue 1 and La Liga are the only ones with a player that i'd be interested in using - but they could be a long time away.think ill do Serie a
10 wins from 20 games so far. Just beat Sampdoria right back Bartosz Bereszynski 3-1 and he rage quit when Sane made got my 3rd with 20 minutes left. Guy had a savage team (Roberto Carlos, Rui Costa, Petit and his own 99 rated card) but was a poor enough gung-ho player. His card was RWB but he played himself at RW.

Ayy my OTW and PTG investments paying off. Mbappe with a goal and Coman should get an IF with a goal and making a pen and being MotM. Also have Sane, Semedo, James, Aurier and Davinson Sanchez.
Going to hold on to Mbappe in hopes he gets another goal or assist today, he's only 980k or so right now so he could get up to 1mil or more with something else. Coman I'll hold til right before the Totw gets released as I feel like his card would be over the 50-60k that he's going for right now.
Edit: Sold him for 990000k actually. Good enough. That price is insane and his next 2 in forms won't even be that much I don't think. Crazy price.

The price isnt crazy, it is so expensive because he is a striker in that card and not RW where he usually plays. But him scoring a goal doesnt necessarily improve his stats right? I have him too, absolutely love the card. Will trade him in for an Icon when he gets a TIF hopefully or just keep an insane striker.
It's because he was more likely to get an IF. Not sure how it ended but at half time he had 1 goal so had the hype for a potential IF.

Lost 3/3 penalty shootouts in WL, dced one, had some terrible luck against stacked icon teams and yet I've not really got angry once. Think I've overcome Fifa rage.

I’m such a dick. Said to myself I would have a break but ended up playing a few matches last night and went on a good run. Currently 15-5. It’s crazy the amount of players that have Ronaldo, Henry, Hernandez. Do you think they’ll do a SBC for R9 or R10?

First one I lost, hit the post 3 times along with scored twice, opponent got 2 decent goals. The winner? I go up the field smash the post again with Sanchez, rebound falls to Salah who miscontrols, other guy goes up the pitch takes a shot from 40 yards with Spurs Dembele, hits Bailly. Lloris stranded. Had a feeling it wasn't going to be my day.
Game two, got a late pen in a game I didn't deserve anything from, went to peno's and for some strange reason I couldn't take them properly, stated putting them all 12 yards wide of the goal along the ground using the same technique I scored with in the game. Weird as feck.
All downhill from there and I probably should have stopped when I was getting frustrated.

Played 26, won 10. going to take the night off and have a go fresh in the morning. Don't think I'll be making Gold 3 now. Thats 6 wins from 21 games today. Shocking.

I work most of the weekend, getting in as many matches as I can, putting me at 23 played, won 12.
Last one I was better but gave away two stupid penalties, cue a 2-1 loss *sigh*

Yeah they'll have SBC's for prime R9 and Dinho. Probably around TOTS time though.
My team is pretty much complete so may just prepare for them now. I imagine it’ll be similar to Henry’s one needing a lot of totw players and up to 89 rated squads.
This is why I haven't even tried to get Henry yet. I've seen what you need to do for them. I manage to get the TOTW's fine. Most are garbage like 79 rated randomers but to get a 89 rated squad. I don't have that type of players. I have Pogba and KDB but other than that, not even close.
What would be the cheapest 89 rated squad you could make that has the desired Chem too?
The full Henry SBC is supposed to be over 3 mil.
I was looking at them last night as I could possibly get Prime Hernandez and Hagi by selling Hagi and Bale.
It's so tempting but I think I'll finish this WL first and then do it.
