Weekend league = 40 games against Rui Costa.
Sounds like a pro player.
They usually have the name of the team theyre representing in their username.
6 games played, 3 wins and 3 losses. Looks like it’s going the same way as last weekend.
Where do you guys see what the record is of the players you've met in WL?
I'm 2 for 2 so far, but I've not met any teams containing icons, let alone the kind of crazy topped squads you've been mentioning since last weekend

I am absolutely fcuking terrible. Last week I got to division 1 on seasons and got 19 wins in WL. This week I’ve been relegated all the way down to division 5 and have lost 8 of my first 11 games on WL. What the fcuk has happened to me?
Feels like a huge weight off the shoulders not to be playing that mode anymore. Seriously.
There has been an update but I didn’t notice any major changes really.
Also don’t play on Fridays, all the pros play their games then so you’ve got a bigger chance of coming up against good players. I’ve found Saturday to be the best day to cram most games in.

I don't think you can.
If I get a proper doing on WL, I'll google their GT and hopefully they appear as a consistent top 100 player.
I’ve not played anyone that good yet today and I’m still getting absolutely battered. Been 2-0 up about 4 times and lost every time. Having a break before I smash the TV.
I’ve bought a championship side with Maguire leading the line and I’m gonna play with that. Hopefully it reduces the monotonous of it
Played a bit of divisions last night. Learned that in division 2 no one seems to be able to defend the classic fifa 17 'L2 shielding and through ball' method. I'll be implementing it on the WL games when I get some time to play, and see if i can get an extra few wins a week
What formations are you all using?
The only way I can explain it is through Space Jam. I believe your powers have been sucked into a controller and someone is now utilising your fifa skills.

40 games of every single one of my keepers saves rebounding to the feet of their attacker but their keepers saves being pushed well out of danger.I start with 4321 and switch ingame to 41212 narrow. Can't seem to use any formation without a CAM this year.
I've sold my prem team in a rage and got about 485k to make a new one with. I want Griezmann back but just don't know how to make a decent team around him

Just beat a team with Prime Hagi, Del Piero, Rui Costa, Carlos, Ferdinand, Schmeichel, Petit and Overmars 1-0 with my championship side. Almost feel sorry for the person - the game definitely seems to give you a boost in that scenario.

Am i the only one who cant use Neymar in this game? Compared to Hazard or Alexis IF, he feels like a championship player. I cant score enough with him, while Alexis bangs them in
Not playing anymore. Lost now to 2 virgins in a row in the last minute with teams stack filled with legends. Watch all their replays and celebrate like dicks. Imagine dragging games out to 40 minutes.

If you're playing with that teams, watching all the replays and cutscenes, dabbing and then sending petty messages after the game chances are they don't leave the house very much. Just assuming mind you

First ever weekend league, played 5 won 4 lost 1, and the one I lost was 2-0 up in when my son logged into my account on the PS4 at his grannies so I got booted with 20 mins to go, could have killed him lol. Should be 5 from 5.

I always start well for the 10 first games but after that I just get matched against really good players.. there's definitely something going on with the matchmaking when you're playing well..
Yeah, you will always face opponents who have around the same win/loss ratio in that weekend as yourself.
Thought the marquee matchups looked pretty shit but did them anyway with players in the club. Spent 2k, got 80k back, including IF Jonas and Pique in the packs. Not sure whether to sell them or use them in an SBC (likely Rui Costa).
Is it worse to lose to somebody who has never had sexual intercourse? Or was it just a descriptive term?

On a side note is anyone else getting loads of disconnects lately? Every other game I’m getting disconnected and my internet is completely fine.

I almost had a moment before and sold my full team. So shit playing against 41212 game after game and ping pong passing. Like everyone just scored the exact same goals over and over again
