Gaming FIFA 18 Ultimate Team

I packed Kante last night. Sold him for around 210k because i have no need for him whatsoever and the coins are more useful than anything.

Currently have 390k, and i am thinking about upgrading from Scream Forster to 89 Van Der Sar (he will link to Van Dijk and IF de Ligt). Is it worth spunking the lot now or waiting for rewards thursday?

Yeah, regret going with Robben (before I asked here).. he's just not very versatile and one-footed. Is it easy to delete the squad and start again - I've only played one game so have nothing to lose really?
 
Anyone ever dick around on Futhead just for the hell of it? What team would you build with unlimited coins?

This would be mine. Makes me wish I was rich.

Imagine seeing that in the pre-game loading screen. The console would be getting switched straight off.
 
Finally got my broadband installed, can't wait to play a lag free game again. Should improve on my gold 1 finish this weekend

Anyone know what the deal is with alessandrini btw. Must have faced him 30x this weekend and he never did anything special

Most youtubers find him a dream to play with, good for chem and really over powered. The ones who can get the best out of him. A lot of others just follow suit and can't really use him to his strengths I'd say.

Yeah probably the way. Probably the player I played against most and he was trash most games.
 
Bought Alessandrini when he was 15k because someone on r/FIFA said he was OP. As a super sub he's almost broken for me. Outside of the boot creamers constantly.

Now everyone has him.
 
So I've tried the Bronze Pack method trading thing today.

Spent about 20k on Bronze Packs. From the players I put up for sale alone and the coins I made back through "redeem 100 coins" and quick selling duplicate club badges etc.. I've already broken even plus I've got tons of players stacked for the next league releases, tons of consumables to sell and use all for free. I'd imagine for a person with the time to spare to do this, it would be a most profitable way to rack up coins while stocking up fitness cards for the WL and seasons.

My last 25 packs cost 10k, have players alone from SBC League Teams at lowest Bin of 8600 according to FutBin, took in about 700 in redeemable coins and I've got almost ten times as many players in reserve for when new leagues and got easily a bucket load of fitness so I don't have to go shopping during weekend league. Honestly these packs will make a profit of well over 3 times what they cost when the other league SBC's drop. Such an easy way of saving cash.

Just doing some quick math.
8600 on players,
1k on quick sell,
2k on 10 bronze player fitness card
1.3k on team bronze fitness cards

Thats 12.9k with lots to spare and myself sorted for the WL. Happy days.

Just doing the math now and every time I've done it on 25 packs (3 times today), I've only had to sell about 35 of the 45 or so players I listed to make my cash back and a little profit. I should make profit on the others and I have added at least 200 bronze players to my club which I can sell for real profit when new league SBC's drop. I packed Mattias Kait from Fulham twice and he's 1.7k alone (which pays for pretty 8 of the packs alone).

Maybe I'm getting lucky with packs but 70% of the players I've got from the championship, russian league, turkish league and dutch league sell for more than an entire pack alone.
I'll keep track of the next few to be sure but this is what I got from my last 10k.

Was it before the league SBC's dropped? I find the only ones that sell are the ones usable in those League ones. That why I only listed about 40 of 100 players

It was after the specific league for specific players sbc but before the more recent league upgrade ones.
 
Games been really getting on my nerves lately, dominate games having 20+ shots at times and they're either saved by a super keeper or go just wide.

Went to the match highlights and checked out the replays, didn't even know that you can see the direction you've inputted for passes and shots (!?). Almost all my shots never followed the trajectory of the arrow-indicator. Wtf??

Have stuck to scoring sweaty goals since and back to winning games.

But what the hell?!?!?

Aren't games not on the weekend usually ignored? I don't think he will be in today and next week will only look on the weekend performances. Happened already for a few players.

He has been MOTM against Brighton too, and I think the midweek game will be counted this time as it's in the league not CL or a cup.
 
Gone from division 1 to losing every game in division 5 in the space of a week. WHAT THE FCUK.

Should get an inform next week so he'll likely go down again. Though I'm definitely going to picking that one up. He'll also definitely get a rating upgrade in the winter, though not sure how much it'll change his in 2nd inform when he gets it, if at all because it should be 84 rated.
 
I really enjoyed this game when it came out, the gameplay was for most parts good and although most games ended up with an obscene amount of goals you really felt that you got what you deserved after a game. Now it just feels like a lottery, whoever ends up more lucky will get the win in most games, it doesn't matter who is the better player and who creates the more chances. In almost every game win or loose you just come away with the feeling that you either got screwed over or got lucky with the key moments in the game.

It's a shame that they have ruined such a good game because I really like the concept of building up your team over time and grinding towards a long term goal.
They do however deserve credit for all the content they put in the game like SBC's, squad battles different promos and so forth, it's just a shame that they can't get the actual gameplay even somewhat enjoyable.
 
So, I was looking to do the SBC Quincy Promes as his NIF card is a fantastic super sub. Found out it would cost me near 200k. Waaaaay too much for a super sub. So I had a gander on Futbin.

Penalties: 86

He's also got 87 strength, is 185cm (6ft) tall, and 4 star skill moves, and high/medium work rates. Seems like a bargain at 45k.

Sold Griezmann (made 25k profit), went back to a Prem team and won 2 in a row before going to work. As fantastic as Griezmann is, I don't have the coins to build a good team around him :(
 
Wish I'd gone through with buying up a few of Young's informs last weekend when I thought he'd get one. He's gone up about 10k.

You'll make most of those 200k back through the rewards. I've done half of the teams so far and made a profit overall.
 
Over 200+ Gold, Premium's, PL, Rare Gold's etc. to open. When should I start?
 
Bit the bullet and bought Van Der Sar. So far so good, unbeaten and he makes saves that Scream Forster just wouldnt make. I am pretty settled on my team now, and unless i get incredibly bored will be saving all my coins and packs for TOTY

Start in a 433 for chem with Locadia CM and Pereiro at ST. No player instructions once I make the switch, i like that the full backs join the attack and score so many from cutbacks when people decide to defend narrow and dont follow the overlap, and Danilo Pereira on balanced stops most counter attacks by the time they reach the centre circle.

IF de Ligt gets slept on because he was churned out during the TOTW sbc but he is a beast for me
