It annoys me how many times I've choked a 40-0.

At least I'll finish top 100 this week. Since 38 wins wasn't enough last weekend :lol:

Complete joke from EA that there's not another tier in WL(something at 37 wins) tbh.
 
The scripting in SB is blatant but EA don't hide it. There are skill bars when you are choosing your difficulty that reflect this.

Anyway the point of this post is how the feck do I counteract the EA bullshit? Obviously others can hence their high scores. You get some games where you can't pass to a player that's 2 yards in front and your players make no forward runs or move off the ball, despite my custom tactics remaining the same.

You in the psn chat? I posted a pic where I was fouled in the box and the game gave it's self a goal kick, it's beyond stupid, fouling is martin Atkinson level of stupid in squad battles
 
Giving up with the SBCs at the moment, no luck. Going to save an improve the first teams before going back to them at a later point .

Post patch I seem to be giving away a lot more penalties by just being next to a player in the box.

Use L2 jockey around the box, and then press contain when they make a quick turn. Your defender will react faster than you would if you were to use the fully manual defending, and there wont be any tackle either. Then when they eventually realise they cant get through will either go back and reset their attack, or try something overly fancy and a simple standing tackle will win the ball back. I press the tackle button maybe once or twice in a whole defensive sequence, and only when there is a high percentage chance of making the tackle. Otherwise its contain, jockey, contain, jockey all the way. Limits people most times to hopeful long range shots, or off balance attempts that the keeper saves with ease
 
I am trying to complete the Nations & Leagues hybrid SBC. I am doing Tough where the criteria is 6 leagues 6 nationalities, rating 80 chem 89.

Now I have matched all criteria except the chem.

I have 2 english strikers uptop (Welbeck 6 chem - no loyalty & Ings 7 with loyalty)
Both cm's spanish from villareal chem 7 both loyalty
Lm and lb both brazilian from Italian league with loyalty yet my LM has 7 chem but LB has 10? This is the same for the RM & RB were my RB has 10 chem compared to the 7 of the RM and both my CB' german from Bundesliga both just 7.

Why do my FB's achive a 10 chem rating but no other player does? How do I get others up to 10 or just above 7?

Loyalty = you got the player in a pack or you’ve played 10 games with them. You need loyalty for 2 of the league and nation hybrids SBCs, it’s impossible without. Think there’s still a glitch to get loyalty quickly.

I have loyalty on all but 1 player. My query is why only 2 players are on the 10 chem but nobody else goes above 7?

Can you post your team? You must not have enough links and/or wrong positions.

Yeah just play and quit 10 games straight away in single player. You get the loss on your record but who cares.

Rb - Gonul - Turk Besiktas Super Liga (10)
Rm - Sahiner Turk Koyaspor Super Liga (7)
Cb - Badstuber German Stuttgart Bundesliga (7) & Hubner German Hoffenhaim Bundesliga (7)
Lb - Dalbert Brazil Inter Calcio A (10)

Theres 3 links into the rm, compared to 2 for the lb. They both only get 2 link points though, 1 for league and one for nation, and the 2 dead links into the lm and rm will cost you chem

I think the best player I packed in those mega pack / jumbo pack rewards you get from all the nation / hybrid SBCs was Danny Rose. Everyone else was trash. Just proves what a waste of money packs are in general as I probably opened well over 100 pounds worth.
 
Opened up my 2 rare packs for finishing Elite 1 in squad battles.. best player was 81. :(
 
How is Leroy sane? Thinking of doing 433 false 9 with Jesus as the cf sane on the left and Mkhitaryan on the right.
 
I'm on the run of 5 defeats in the row in season divisions now. Ridiculous. Some days I find every ball for the opponent goes into the net and every chance I get got saved, I keep playing hoping for a win and keep losing a match after another till I relegate. :(

I don't know, cutting in and shooting is for me usually the best way of scoring. His weak foot prevents him from doing that. But I see a lot of people using him.
 
After languishing in division 8 and then 7 for about 5 seasons each I'm finally getting somewhere. Up to division 4 now - got 2 games left which I need to win to be promoted to division 3.

I wish there was better rewards for the standard UT seasons.

What formation are you using? Maybe try a 4-2-3-1 if you're leaking goals. The two CDM's can really help out.
 
Anyone else complete the advanced SBC's? I got the mega pack earlier followed by the mega rare pack. Got Dries Mertens & Manolas in the first one and the second one had Thiago Silva and David Luiz.. Delighted, to say the least.

I was trying the 4-1-4-1 recently. Was working well till today.

I'm absolute terrible in defending against players who throw pacey players at me.
 
I really need to stop losing against absolute garbage. At least 6 of my defeats came against dross. I'll lose against them, then next match I'll be put up against someone who's good and I'll win.

What formations are we all playing. Feel like I've hit a brick wall with 433 (4) now. Still not really ventured online, but in SB I've upped it to WC and I am grinding out wins, but I do feel like my wingers are not really influencing the game like they did on pro.

Tempted with the 41212, having Lukaku and Lacazette up front.
Tried 4231, with the wingers and defensively, yes it was good, but going forward, it felt quite lacking

5-2-1-2 worked a treat for me, everything goes through the cam and the 3cbs I used stayed where I'd want them to

I'm still not sure, but it seems playing with 2 direct wings, LM and RM, are a waste of team and not as good as I loved it in previous games.

I'll try to go with RF and LF instead and see.

Lucky you. The best players i got from these packs was Herrera and Asensio. Got some shitty IFs in the other packs that are not worth more than 15000 coins in the market

Yeah I've found that the only formation I can get anything with. 3 CB with 85+ defending, ultra defensive and custom tactics to be hyper aggressive and counter. It's dogshit but it's working.
