He’d be on 6 chemistry in that position. Loyalty adds one to 7, a manager makes it 8.
The same thing would happen with Asensio if you put him in the middle im pretty sure.
Striker options were a little light for my Serie A team - treated myself to the icon Larsson card. Didn't take him long to confirm that was a good decision!
The AI on Squad battles is so hit and miss. I can be winning 6-0 or lose 3-2. Just had a game where I missed two penalties (convinced the computer uses my arrow to know where I place it)
You could always just pause it straight away and swap them
I’m at the point now where legendary isn’t really a challenge anymore. I have moments where the AI basically makes themselves score but always feel in control.
Still more than happy to play it though cause I can’t really do the WL due to having little time off at weekends.
Completely fecked my WL up. I was so tired when i got in but i thought i'll still have a go and play as many as I could. Went from 10-3 to 18-10, had zero rhythm in my play and my defending was shocking, i could just see so many gaps i was leaving. Got to 18 wins, tried 2 more games to work towards 21 but lost them both and just gave up. I'll take the 30k, and the packs and try again next week (maybe)
Bernardo Silva is brilliant in this, I’m happy with him on the right but changed formation at half time and had him as CAM and he was messi like.
Finished in elite 3. Could make elite 2 if I played and won my last two games but didn’t bother as the only difference is 30k. Was a shit weekend overall. Changed my team twice which is probably the reason why. I thought 4-1-2-1-2(2) would work out for me but it just didn’t. Created nothing when I faced people who could defend, so I found myself changing to 4-3-2-1 in game in most games. So I just said feck it, sold my team and bought Ronaldo. To my surprise I actually did quite well with him and a 60k team around him. He’s just unreal. If you can affort him you have to buy him.
Still playing the SB for now. I've got to a point where in WC I feel I can beat the team, I just can't every break through defences, and when I do, shot selection is so off.
Also, that drilled shot is so frustrating.
Half the time I power up and then tap again and it's as if it doesn't register the second tap, so it flies over the bar, the other times, the shots are so weak they trickle to the keeper.
Now, messing around with the shooting training games, the drilled shots seem to pull off everytime

Since I got Griezmann last week he's scored 50 goals in 43 games as a CAM. For me the best player I've used by far.
He’s got 21 in 15 games for me, I use the false 9 instruction with him and he’s a treat

Played against him and he destroyed me, RB seems to be instant goal most of the time.

They ought to just do away with tactical defending. There was honestly nothing wrong with legacy. If you were good, you could easily play around it. FIFA WC2010 is the best game ever in the series and it had legacy defending, worked perfect.
I’m almost satisfied with my team. Playing 4321 and I just can’t settle on the right cb, rb and RCM.

Can you play legacy defending online?
It's amazing the difference it makes when playing this. I don't play online much, mostly been doing the squad battles so far, and this has made the difference between 6-700 points and 1500 points.
Obviously I'm not a great player anyway

That's really interesting, I forgot you could do that still. How exactly do you defend? Do you press the AI or mark the options? And do you specifically hold either contain or team press?

It means when defending I can hold down O and my AI player goes straight for the ball, usually winning it successfully. Takes the element of having to actually defend myself, out of it.
I don't play online much, so for me it makes all the difference for squad battles, and I don't have to worry about adapting back again
Gives me an extra 1k points from each match though now
Honestly, all I do is hold down the O and my AI defender does the rest. I'll usually try and shuffle my controlled player into some passing channels to make it easier for my AI.
Wow, just tried it for a half and it seems really effective. It removes any skill in having to actually time tackles, it's far easier.
I may give it a go. My defending right now is good though. On WC I may give up a goal, sometimes 2, but if it relieves any stress right now, I can just focus on the attacking side of it, which I am really struggling with

Yeah tactical defending is much easier, you can basically press the AI to death with the contain button and they don't know how to deal with it. I don't even feel bad about it because the AI seems to be cheating a lot in squad battles, it's kind of obvious when you play a lot singleplayer tournaments in comparison and all win them easily on world class and legendary. In squad battles when I don't score 1 or 2 early it's often a huge struggle and I always have situations where I can do anything right and still concede because the AI players turn into fast superhumans who get everything right, especially in the last minutes.
I'm attempting a La Liga/Brazilian/French League hybrid with no dead links. For it to work I need a Spanish CDM. Is Busquets worth the money or shall I use a budget CDM such as Iborra?
