It's basically fifa 17 all over again now. No idea why they changed so much. Pre patch the shooting and goalkeeping was of course a problem, as was defenders not tracking runs, but they changed way too much. Just needed slight adjustment.
 
So what goalkeeper is worth it here? the teams I'm planning on making tonight/tomorrow morning are:

Just not sure which goalkeepers to pick. Probably Handanovic for the Serie A side, the other side only Lloris/Navas/De Gea would have full chem, with Dave being too expensive (as is probably Lloris), and Navas I'm not sure if he's any good.

I might try Handanovic. Had Donurramamama and whilst pulling off some spectacular, often let’s shots under him or palms them into the net. Bought Buffon for 55K and despite stats being better all round can barely pull off a save for me, let in so many long shots. I’m contemplating changing up my entire back line from Seria A. Though I enjoy Chielini and my OTW Bonucci.

It fecks me over big time every couple of games, to the point were I play the ball to a play, he takes a first touch then doesn't bloody register he's got the ball and unlocks off it.

I hate how the ball constantly bobbles about, I never feel like the player is in full control when dribbling, which makes me lose confidence in the game. I think it still needs quite a bit of patching.

Yeah I kind of feel that way too. Never get anything from bought packs.
 
@Macern finished elite 3 with 2 matches left to play, but my brother played too and had a lower win ratio than I did. Think my overal record is something like 24-6, with most losses on friday when most of the pro's play.

I need to play against you soon, after my exams when I genuinely have time to play. Will leave the next Weekend League's to my brother, hoping he can finish monthly elite 1.

I'll make gold 1 in a weekend where I've had to cram and the internet has lost me about 4 or 5 games do I'm happy with that. Not going to get to play much these next few weeks as I'm moving house and away seeing family so hopefully a good pack means I won't fall too far behind.
 
Well chuffed with my packs tonight. OTW Ederson and Walker. I've still got Morata and the OTW LB from Madrid, so my team is reasonable. I'm still shit though. Feels like everyone has perfect custom tactics, runs off the ball everywhere and I got nothing haha.

Yeah I got feck all. Had players in my club to do both of them though so not the end of the world.
 
So with this new patch, I don't know how many of you play against the CPU, but I started to beat Professional in SB quite comfortably (Was gonna continue until tonight then move to WC tomorrow).

Apparently the only thing that has changed is that keepers are slightly better and shows are more inconsistent.
It's totally not right now. Defenders now stick to you like glue. I put a lot of effort into slowing the pace down and using that drag back technique etc but all that has gone out of the window now. You basically have to pass and move, pass and through ball counter attack. It feels awful :(
 
I didn’t get my rewards for the squad battles, has everyone else?
 
How does this single player squad battles work? I just finished gold 1 but only got like 12.5k gold coins or something. I thought I was getting gold packs as well? Waste of time doing it if its 1 of the three rewards.
 
My internet takes the fecking piss. Last 3 or 4 games have all been absolute lag fests. No good reason for it either. Router has been flushed, no one on around this time, and yet I can't get more than 5 seconds of gameplay with lag!
 
26 wins with a few to spare. Promised meself I'd get gold 3 for auto qualification and then stop due to the shenanigans of this mornings gameplay, but alas, I thought I might as well go for gold 1. Lost 4 or 5 games where I hit the post maybe 3-4 times each match, only to concede to a shite counter attack.

People in the WL, I'd love to know what custom tactics they're using as when I attack, it's their midfield and defense on the 18 yard line, yet when they attack, it's usually 3 attackers v my 4 defenders, with my CM's up the pitch.

Anywho, when I was finished I finally bought a few players so I could fit Griezmann in. Wish I started the WL with this team tbh.

Got Elite 1 in squad battles. Best player was Lucas from PSG. What an utter waste of time that was.
 
Christ, doing the SBC gold upgrade stuff, last two packs have given me Pedro and Matic, players I already had :lol:

All that fanfare, and all I get is shit I already have.
