Bought 24k FIFA points on release (I'm a slave I know) had a few decent pulls and basically sold everything I packed.

Not sure which direction to go though for a team, I still want to try out some icons next is either shevchenko or crespo. Although I might buy van basten back as he was amazing, it felt like every shot was an automatic goal.

Only trouble is if I do buy an icon it doesn't leave much for a team so it's icon and a meh team or a stacked team with no icon.

Ea will be alerted whenever someone transfers a lot of coins to another account and both will get banned

Guy on the phone said they'll investigate the issue, I pressed him a bit saying listen mate I paid 90 daym quid for the icon edition and he said he put a note on for the tech team to prioritise it and get back to me asap. With compensation if they can't sort it.

They're quite generous with comps though. Last year I had a problem with my profit from trading players not accumulating (lost about 10k) and they gave me about 120k.

Willing to take the risk, doubt their system will be intelligent enough to recognise a couple of transactions. Plus if it did ever happen I would be confident I could overturn the decision via appal. Thanks for the heads up though.
 
I’m currently 25-7. I can make elite 2 if I win 7 out of my remaining 8 games. At worst I’ll get elite 3 (minimum 4 wins of the remaining 8)

I've not played online much, but feels like pace is back with a bang.
I've been building myself up playing against AI so far really, but this patch, I've noticed that pressing is through the roof. It's as if the RB and close dribbling I've been practising has gone completely out the window and now it's just counter attack ping pong passing
 
I don't know if it was the patch that caused this or just the WL bringing out the meta, but this Fifa is still all about the pace. Ultra-defensive and counter-attacking while filling your team with as many pacey forwards as possible.

I don’t know what the limit is, but my friend got banned for coin selling last year. I wouldn’t transfer anything over 100k between accounts.

List consumables or other cards that have very little value for say 8000 coins. Set the starting price to a specific and rarely used price like 5600 to make sure it’s the right card. I.e list 10 cards on the account you want to transfer the money to and buy the cards on the acc you want to transfer coins from and you’ll transfer 8000*10 /1.05 = 76.192 coins

I wouldn’t do it. You risk getting banned. You’ll undoubtedly get banned if you transfer larger amounts

I think you’d be fine with trading low amounts like 100,000 over, though i’d do it over the course of a few days and not all at once. As you say it’s the larger amounts all at once which will get you banned. It’s against the TOS to trade any coins over accounts or give to your friends but EA must know that tens of thousands of people do this, they’re not going to ban them all.

CB's and ST look like they need a lift. Berahino has been an absolute machine though, 52 games played (50/50 split with online seasons and squad battles) and 40 goals scored. My FUT dream is to have Peter Schmeichel in goal but he's going for at least 280-290k.... To hold out for the dream or to spend and improve other areas?

I go on good streaks, and then all of a sudden I get a four or five game streak where I can't create any chances, or if I can I can't finish them, and where the CPU gets to manhandle me all it wants whereas every little nudge I do gets them a freekick or a penalty.

So fecking aggravating.

Iv had worse than that video, for squad battles ya have to pick a level you know you can beat the team, if its a star studded team full chem drop it down a level or 2, if its bronze with shit chem go for it with legendary or ultimate

You can just win on professional and get enough points for elite 2, it's about 1000 per win on pro.

This current one said somewhere in the 800s, but I guess more goals would help bump it.

What I'm worried about is a surge in results pushing up the bar, making me miss out.
 
Current team is 65 att, 71 mid and 62 def, whereas I'm 84 83 82. 82 chemistry versus my 100. I got this. Might go for your tip after this one.

On track for gold 3 or 2 with my 2 shitty teams. Had an awful start but picked up after. 10 wins in 20 games but I doubt I'll play enough to get the rest for gold. Still, with the teams I'm using... pretty happy with it?
 
So whats the story with the patch and hitting the post/bar? Ive lost 4 or 5 in WL due to hitting the post over and over again. Then, counter attack, oppo slides under keeper.

Also, why oh why bring back AI assisted defending. Seeing twats dart around the pitch with Bakayoko whilst the ai defends is aggravating. Prior to patch if someone tried that you could just walk around their defense.

Yes defending was hard at times but so rewarding.
