I just missed out on elite monthly. Absolutely gutted and the fact it was due to disconnections made it 100x worse. Don't think I'll be able to play all the games next month either so nothing special for me it seems.
3 losses in a row. 17 games left but feck that, no mood for them. I'll take my 3 gold in-forms and be happy with them, until I actually get them and they're all 81 rated centre backs from the arse leagues of Europe.
I only bought the game this month and this WL is my first try. The WL has made the game more fun for me because the games mean more and I think because of that I'm playing better because I play more seriously compared to casually like how I normally do. I don't have a great record so far, I have 15 wins out of 28 played but hopefully I will finish in gold. I'm still getting used to the game, it plays a lot different to fifa 15 (the last title I played)

Choked 40-0 with a terrible loss in my 23rd game.

Was aiming for Gold 3 all along this week, thought I could get it after getting Silver 1 in my first attempt 2 weeks ago. Was on track pretty much all the way, switching between my Prem and La Liga teams to ensure high fitness. Needed 3 wins from the last 7 tonight so was confident, but lost 3 in a row and the dream was all but over. However, won the next 3 to hit Gold 3 with a game to spare! Delighted

24-5 so far. Have played 27 of those games today. Getting really tired, it's tearing on my concentration. Some of the losses were plain stupid.

Lost my last game. Finished in Elite 2. I fecking hate this game. This has been my worst weekened ever. I hate weekend league.
OMG I had just enough coins to open one of those on sale luna jumbo packs, I opened it and it did that when it delays so you know your going to get a walk out player, just that was exciting but then I saw it was the flair that means a legend, bare in mind I normally get crap packs. Anyway that moment waiting to see the flag, so exciting. It was Weah can you believe, my brother was like its Donovan thinking it was the USA flag but I was no its WEAH!!! I want to relive that moment a thousand times lol. I'm so used to opening packs and seeing crap or none rares pop up, that was only my second walk out in this game.

I got Ronaldo a few years back from a regular gold pack and it was when the prices were nuts and his NIF was going for 12million coins. Easily my best UT moment.
Bet that was a great feeling packing Ronaldo, if only we could relive those moments over and over haha.

Finished 23-17. Considering my start was 4-8 thats not so bad, got gold 2 for the week and gold 2 for the month first month i have even been able to play weekend league properly. Learned a lot about the game, and my team. Now i just have to hope i can pack some decent IFs in the rewards (SIF Lukaku or TIF Eriksen would be nice)
Everytime I score a goal I conceed from the next kick off, it's fecking ridiculous.
Needed a draw against Leipzig (I was playing Hull) in my final game to stay in division 4, absolutely battered him and should have easily been 3-0 or 4-0 up at half time but it somehow stayed only 1-0. He fluked an equalizer early on in the second half and I went too ambitious, wanting to go all the way and win and conceded on a counter just before the final whistle. Terrible loss.
I'm taking Southampton in division 5 though and it looks like I could get straight back into 4. I think they might be the best 4-star team in the game.

Just jockey back with one of your midfielders (stronger the better) and force them wide. Cover their passing lanes and as soon as they run out of space just shove them off the ball
But why does it feel way harder to tackle them just after kick off than normal? It's strange

hope you get some good pack luck too, I cant believe that I'm close to getting Ronaldo now but could try to get Best too.It does seem to be inbuilt to the mechanics. Getting a quick early challenge in is possible but if they get that pass away its like your players are still trying to find their footings.
It is ridiculous how it takes a greater effort as if anything your players should be better positioned.
One of their crazy game mechanics. Like why does a near post driven corner always result in either a goal or another corner? Its just a thing in the game that you have to adapt to really
@Eddy_JukeZ any tips on how to deal with players sprinting at you? What buttons do you press to make your player run back and stand up.
@Eddy_JukeZ I've started using your 4-1-2-1-2 and custom tactics from the youtube video, I mainly play offline but I've gone from struggling against teams playing professional from league 2 in div 9 to winning all my games in div 1 against five star teams on ultimate to get the prem pack in a very short amount of time, Nice one!
