Might go bundesliga once this week's rewards come in cause I think you'll be able to make a decent team quite easily.

So in my pack I got some team of the week left brazillian left back who is going for 17 so I've put him straight back up, 5 prem players mainly just squad fodder but happy to bulk my squad, rashford, lingard, klavan, Delaney and another I forget. A couple of decent Brazilians and Italians as well as some of the usual contracts, easy turnover fitness and healing cards as well as a gold pack. Very happy with how that's gone.
Why has the market crashed so badly? Not complaining as I was saving the coins, bought now instead of saving til after WL when it might be even lower. Only guy I didn't buy is SIF Eriksen, though I have 230k so I'll be good even if he goes up a bit.
Cheap packs for everyone because of the Lunar New Year stuff.
25 wins with 3 games left. For some reason kept going behind early on but got that typical Fifa momentum in the second half to come out on top. Must have pissed so many players off coming back from 2-0 down.

Has anyone figured out away to put in a cross that does not go straight in to the opponent keepers hands?
Literally a tap on cross is by far the most effective for me. One of the few times I score from crosses is using that.

I've managed to drag myself to 21 from 35. Need 4 out of 5 to hit the elite monthly rewards. Game is a lag fests the he moment though so I should probably turn it off but I probably won't.

Valencia at 82. Bailly 83, shaw 81 (despite not playing?), Herrera 83, rashford to 77, Jones 80... Everything else seems pretty standard. Just the Rojo one was a huge surprise.

Worth remembering we're in partnership with EA now, hence finally getting favourable ratings after years of harsh ratings.
True... Could actually be a decent idea of which players will get upgrades on FUT. If Rojo went from 78 to 83 in the normal game, surely he'll get a pretty big upgrade on ultimate team? Though that would change his card to a rare card which I'm not sure if they do upgrades to that extent. Valencia should be a cert to get an upgrade though too on ultimate team. 80 on fut, 82 in the game, had an in form at 83.
Knew I should have stopped when I was needing 4 from 5. Got a disconnect in the 90th minute so now I need to win 4 on the bounce. Going to get Modric in for the games tomorrow though so hopefully he'll help.
Why isnt the Libero option anymore in FIFA? It was the best secret of the game.
It was a type of central defender in Italian Catenaccio football. But in FIFa you could change a player from lets say RCB to LIB, the player in question then always stays behind, there is no one in the pitch behind him. It makes that you are not vulnerable for counters and defensive errors as there is always someone there. I remember FIFA 13 I think, used that with PSG with Thiago Silva, I stopped conceding any goals.
Cool you could do that in fifa, noway I never knew. I bet it was effective, especially with a player like Thiago Silva.
In one of the latest sbc's you have to use some Hyundai A-League Players and I had 3 bronze cards in my club from that league, it was a pleasant surprise to see that they sold for around 4k each. If only we had some insight to the upcoming sbc's because those bronze cards could be bought for 200 coins each before the sbc.
Just save every player you get from packs and then use em in sbc or sell them when they are useful.

Hard to stick to when you are saving up for a specific player. End up selling loads to make the cash quick
Don't know how they managed it but EA have made the game much worse post-patch. Actually makes sense, since every patch they release seems to make the game worse... not that FIFA 17 was a good game anyway. The game is beyond what the patch explains. Passes are not going towards the intended target and the input delay is 10x worse.
WL is stressful.
Did like 4 of those gold upgrade sbc's today since I had a lot of random discard gold players and untradeables... Best I got was ashley williams who i used towards another gold upgrade. Left with basically nobody and in the end I just gave away a ton of gold players
Also spent like 60k on random packs. Again, got nothing. More then stocked with contracts though. My pack luck is fecking horrendous though. I don't think I've gotten a single IF this year, I got De Gea once a couple of months in and other then that it's been trash.

Met up with a guy who regularly reaches top 100 on ps. Beat him 2-0 man utd vs barca, then he switched to real and beat me 1-0 and 2-1. Makes me wonder why I struggle to make top 100
I don't even want to consider playing them 4 games tomorrow. If I get another disconnect loss I'll be going nuts. Actually spent time every weekend this month to get cheated out of it by disconnects and ea having to not run it one weekend.
Try holding L1 whilst crossing. Don't tap cross hold it for about a half a second. Seems to give more power and whip so doesn't go straight to the goal keeper.
If anyone is struggling with their CM just get Kante in there. I have a United/ BBVA hybrid and since I put him in he has just destroyed teams. He's absolutley broken in this game.

Need 4 from 4. Won the first match so down to 3. Game freezes on the pause menu. Still panning around the stadium etc yet can't move and no clock ticking down. Gives me a loss and now I can't make it. Cheers fifa
What's the point of tiers for the monthly rewards? They mean nothing.
If you get Gold 1, I think you should be guaranteed an IF with at least 85 overall.

It ASTOUNDS me that people still go on about pack luck. It is very obviously designed from top to bottom to make as much money as possible.

First go at weekend league. 8 wins for 5 losses.
It's tough. My most expensive player is ~30k and I'm slowly building up a decent squad. A lot of those losses felt like if Sanchez or Aguero weren't crazy OP I'd have been comfortable.

Gotta brag somewhere. SorrySuch a weird WL for me. I'm on my best ever run, 15 wins from 20 games but I feel like I'm playing shite for the most part but still getting wins.
Think it's because there's no pressure since I went in needing 6 wins for Gold monthly and that's all I wanted. Now I need 13 from 20 for Elite Weekly and 14 from 20 for Elite Monthly. Watch me buckle now.
