Because of broken game mechanics. Your defence backs off until they reach your own box and upon arrival, they do the mannequin challenge. One way to combat this is to break ankles... seriously. Another way is to go high pressure as soon as your opponent kicks off, but it's a tragedy that you even have to resort to this. I'm pretty sure that in the majority of FIFAs since FIFA 12 (or 13), there's been some sort of kick off exploit.
But yeah there were some major kickoff exploits in previous versions. There aren't any in this year imo. You just have to know how to defend properly using the L2R2/RTLT buttons.
That's nightmare material front four. The only "weak" link I really see there is Piszczek but your squad is hard to play around with, not much you can do without effecting chemistry.
Not sure where you found the custom tactics video on his youtube channel .... one thing I did find out tho, @Eddy_JukeZ has a fierce set of eyebrows on em'.
Was thinking of maybe buying Neville or Zanetti if I get enough coins but I've started to really like Piszczek for some reason. Hated him initially but I'm now used to him and love him. Great defender and it's nice to have him with the instruction to stay back while Shaw is pushing forward a lot on the opposite side.

I just followed some link of something someone posted on the previous page about his fanbase. and then I saw a couple of sets of videos. Not seen the eyebrows yet!
Are we sure chemistry styles work like they're supposed to work? I mean, there are no change in in-game stats, why is that?
Think I made my favourite front 3 in the game just now. Tif Icardi and IF Perisic up top with SIF Isco (the 87 rw one) as the cam, with modric, pjanic and nainggolan as the 3 behind them. Start it in 4-3-3 but switch to a 4-1-2-1-2 during the game as I was getting bored with 4-3-2-1. Love it so far. Had normal perisic before and really liked him, but that was a while ago, now that I went back to mostly a serie a side (with a bit of laliga), tried out the in form of him and he's a monster.
Thought about getting sif Brozovic but not sure he's worth 160k. His card looks great though.

Been championing him for some time now. He's an absolute beast. Him and D Costa are my go to subs and they can spin any game on its heard. Want to get the Halloween version of Costa though. Had him in a draft earlier and his finishing is unreal.
Also a player not many use Ozil is deadly at finishing. Must score a post and in goal every couple of games for me.
I think it may be slightly exaggerated, although when people were testing their boost in FIFA 16, the dribbling chem styles actually did work as advertised.
But they've always been hidden. I don't know why, but EA like to be secretive.
I've a feeling they're exaggerated yeah. My IF Dembele with hunter certainly doesn't feel like 99 pace. Saw some pace tests on youtube and it seems like they only make some minor differences.
Theres talk of a potential OTW sbc, and people are suggesting to invest in 84 rated players. Not much of a loss there either since everyone is at their low right now, while if you need a high rated squad then its huge gains. Had 83k so basically spent it all on mata's and xhaka's at under 2k each, and hopefully even just a bit of hype will cause their prices to go up to close to 3k.

Hell I'm starting to believe all that crap about some informs not being better than regular cards. My IF Dembele has 9 goals in 46 which is atrocious. Martial has 23 in 46 and SBC Lacazette has 105 in 104. Think I'm going to replace Dembele with Bale but my big issue is that I'll have to replace Sanches, Piszczek and Boateng with the likes of Modric, Carvajal and Varane. Modric for Sanches is a really shit change in my team and I worry that it'll make my team worse even though I'm getting bale. I've also looked at that 87 Salah card. Not as good as Bale for sure but I can have Nainggolan, Manolas and Florenzi in my team.
I'm literally sitting here waiting for the rewards to be released. My life is so sad

I think I did it by checking the leader board in game but then instead of the weekly option I changed it to monthly. I did that and it said silver 3 for me.
Same place as the weekly. Press triangle/Xbox equivalent to change from weekly to monthly.

Got way too sick of using my premier league side, even though it was my one "cheaper" team and then the other team would be more expensive. Selling everyone and just going to keep Martial and make a ligue 1/spanish league/portugal hybrid thing as my second team. Planning for:

Switching to a 4-1-2-1-2 in game like how I do with my serie a/laliga team. Just basically to freshen things up. Was doing seasons with that side and my prem side and I just dreaded using my prem side because it got too boring. Modric is my favourite non-in form midfielder in the game without a doubt. Nobody comes close to him IMO. Though Sanches provides more defensively and is a monster, I still wouldn't look at it like making your team weaker. Also you won't need to do Carvajal at right back, just do any of the in form right backs from laliga and you'll still have the chem probably.
OH FOR feckS SAKE. I had one game left to play last weekend but didn't play it as I couldn't get i to elite 1. If I had won that, I'd be in Elite 3 monthly and recieve 11 totw players instead of 3 in the monly rewards. feck my life
You should get some of those red inform gold players, I was surprised I even ranked for anything. I think I get 1 silver inform which Is more than I expected

Feck just realized I won't be able to do the WL more then twice this month. Have yet to have a month with more then 2 attempts at it, so all I'm getting is silver monthlys. Guess I have to hope for March to actually get somewhere in the monthlys.
