I actually use it for exactly that reason. If I'm playing someone who is just the absolute worst type of player abusing the mechanics and cocky with it. I'll dab the shit out of it if I get the chance. I reserve it for the real wankers though.

I also use it if someone has scored first against me and I claw back a winner.

Or against obvious scousers.


I don't abuse the dab like others do though, it has to be a very specific scenario and they have to have earned it.

Basically don't ever quick sell players, you'd be shocked with the randoms that go for over 1k just because people think there will be a marquee matchups sbc soon or something. I just list for lowest start and highest buy now every single time and if they don't sell after a few goes, then I quick sell

Strangely addicted to offline Be a Pro at the minute.

Can't believe I have a game here that allows me to play with any club, with any players and at any level and I've decided to become a no-nonsense central defensive midfielder plying my trade at QPR in what has been an injury ridden career thus far.

I fecking hate some of the dick heads you get on this game.

I went 2-0 up against somebody in the 30th minute and now he just keeps passing to his keeper from kickoff and repeatedly scoring own goals.

Game is totally broken for me tonight. My players are doing really weird shit. The physics of the ball is fecked.

Got ass in my packs. 1 rare gold pack and 2 rare mega packs and I'll get probably like 50k back from selling every card (a lot of lw to lf cards and squad fitness cards at least). Player wise the best I got price wise is Renato Sanches though. So that's a bit shit. Gives me about 120k to get a goalkeeper, 2 center backs and 2 center mids to tie into my team (4321):

Edit: Got all these with 1k spare. Really was hoping for good WL rewards to get IF Thiago instead of normal one, but oh well. Guess I can just do well next week and upgrade both this one and my other team. Not sure what the next step to upgrade either of these would be. Probably Walker in my premier league team, but that's not a huge upgrade. Probably random IF cards or just save up over 100k for one player at a time at this point.

Played a few games with the team. Movember Bellarabi is great to use, forget which chem style I put but it's the one with added passing and shooting since he already has good pace. He's a beast though. Feck knows why he's only 17k to buy because he's probably one of the best right wingers in the bundesliga. Strong, fast, good dribbler, good shot and pass, and two footed. Seems to play almost as well as Reus or Lewa do despite those two being expensive as feck.
 
Cruised to the Final of the Daily Tournament, the guy kicks off and tries to run straight through on goal with Rashford. I have Kante track him and then inexplicably the control auto switches to Koscielny and Kante runs off towards my left back. I'm now shoulder to shoulder with him and Kompany has dropped in behind him to cover and Azpilicueta is alongside him so I'm not too worried at this point and use circle to tackle him. It nudges him off the ball and the next thing I know the ref is over waving the red card. He then has a free kick from 30 yards, straight at Butland with medium force and Butland punches it out straight to his player who shoots it about a foot to the left of the stationary Butland.

I see how this one is going to go....

I try to regroup, shift Azpilicueta central and drop to defensive tactic, I'm in his half and tap triangle with Gundogan to play a through ball through the centre to Lukaku.... Gundogan hits it like a shot, it deflects off his defender and zips through completely unnaturally between my centrebacks, Butland comes out to meet it and then slows down, strafes around it and Rashford storms through and hits it in the back of the net. 2-0 after 20mins.

I'm fuming and close to rage quitting, but its the final so feck it sometimes the game shifts at 2-0 down and momentum goes in your favour.

At half time it's still 2-0 and I've got about 11 shots with 8 on target to his 4 with 2 on target.

About a minute into the second half, I try to long throw to Mkhitarayan after a corner and Butland manages to barely throw it out the area (despite running towards the edge of it) straight to Ben Arfa who shoots into one my players, deflection back out to his Smalling who is grappling with Lukaku. It gets knocked away from them both and Smalling is first to it, the guy has obviously been mashing circle to tackle me so the first thing Smalling does is shoot. Which goes straight in of course... 3-0.

The game finishes 3-0, I've had 19 shots with 14 on target to his 9 shots with 3 on target, hit the post once, Lukaku has done that lovely daisy cutter pass back to the goal keeper when one on one twice and Gundogan skied it into Row Z from a cutback to the penalty spot with nobody on him.



I think it's enough to make me quit. I've no interest in playing a game which isn't sincere. That whole momentum thing and FOG they've discovered is completely unnecessary in what is supposed to be a competitive e-sport with pay to play features.

My controller nearly went through the screen at 2-0, I was just laughing at 3-0.

The thing is, it takes the shine off the victories when you feel like you play really well because often you benefit from this sort of shit and realise that there's less skill involved than you'd hope.

Sometimes your players zip accurate short passes and move well, other times they softly pass to nobody and feel sluggish to move.

Why can't it just be consistent without the external forces?
 
I'm actually quitting this now. No point playing a game that dictates how you're going to do.

Played 8 games, faced 3 shots each match and conceded everytime as the ball calmly flew into the middle of the goal. The type of goal that literally every keeper would save, but suddently Cortouis stopped saving any balls. He literally did not make a single save for 8 games. I hit the post / woodwork 2-3 times every game, missed so many amazing chances. The keepers for the opposition was literally impossible to beat, even a simple tap-in on an empty net was somehow saved as the keeper jumped from one post to the bottom of the other post to HOLD the ball. The goal chances for the other team came by me making a simple pass, the pass hitting a player who for some reason sprinted to get in the way of the ball and the ball somehow ending up at the feet of the attacker.

That's it. I can take the game fecking me for one or two games every time I play, but 8 games in a row today and so many yesterday. I'm simply done.

Sounds like you're having the same fun as me.

I was playing last night and the game was seriously broken, I won 10/12 but both mine and each opponents players were strafing at times in really unnatural ways around the ball and the ball physics were way off. It was sliding instead of bouncing and moving left and right and speeding up when it was rolling. Really weird. One guy had a goal disallowed for offside and the yellow cross showing where the ball will drop in my goal was jumping all over the places as it went it.

I reckon they've upped the scripting/momentum/FOG slider to get people wound up so they splurge on packs for TOTY. I spent 30k on some packs 7.5k packs last night hoping that as people are saving for TOTY packs, the drop rate might be up.... didn't get a single rare player.

It's literally driving me insane. The ones I play against isnt all that good either, but I just gave up after the last game because it was clear that something was completely broken.

I had a penalty a few weeks back where I was trying to dive left and my keeper started to go left then did a big save to the right. I couldn't believe it, it actually did the opposite of what I was trying. I didn't complain at the time but in hindsight it's just more example of the game manipulating the result.

Is Courtois renowned for his penalty saving? I just wonder if he has the Penalty trait: DB_TRAIT_PENALTY_SAVING that went into overdrive with momentum.


Just looking at his career statistics, he's saved 20% of the penalties he has faced including a wonder save against Morrison which could warrant the designers giving him that trait.

I didn't realise they could see what I was doing until I gave away a penalty and he had it on and the direction of the circle button was the way it was going, I'm also quite useless at pens, when I do score is one of those that just roll in.
 
That IF Kieran Trippier card with anchor is a beast. The fact he's going for 20k is baffling. His passing stats alone should double his price. Def keeping him. Also got IF Dele Alli and IF Andre Gray. Three of them slot nicely into my team. Hope I get SIF Eriksen in the monthly WL rewards.
 
3 games no goals best part of 40 shots, first one was scripted to pens, knew it in the first half, second one was playing against the bus until it disconnected in the 2nd half of extra time, game was voided, the third game I gave away 2 pens first came from a corner where the defender fell on my midfielder, saved it, second one I won the ball and it's given as a pen he gets it.

Really wishing I didn't now. The prices are ridiculous. Shitty silver and bronze cards of french players are costing like £10k+

Are these SBC's actually worth it?

Depends on the player. The Emre Can one over Christmas definitely was, he must be the best all around midfielder in the game.
 
Butland just did a completely automated penalty save like the one I described earlier and I won the game from a shot hitting the post and falling straight to Mkhitaryan amongst a sea of his defenders in the 90th minute.

There's no joy in that, the whole thing was scripted from the start.
 
Anyone got a better right winger than Robben for less than 150k? Or, I need a good trio to replace Robben, Sanches and Lahm. Robben sucks

It's worth it, that card is incredible. He trashed me once. That had only happened with SBC Lacazette and Kluivert

Movember bellarabi with Maestro is what I have. 3 star weak foot (feels better then that tbh), 4 star skills, 90 pace, 77 shot, 75 pass, 70 physicalitt and 85 dribbling though with maestro the shot, pass and dribbling goes to 84, 81 and 92. Good stamina too. Only 17 or 18k.

I was playing season the other day and the scripting seems to have got worse. I was on a winning run in Div 1 and, as it often does, it decided i was going to be out of form. It was so bad that i genuinely thought my left stick had stopped responding because my players were so slow to move.
 
Daily Final again... I decided to cherry pick my opponent as everyone seems to be doing these days and chose a club "Est Jan '17".

88 Rated Squad and an absolute Fifa Bro. I was 1-0 up til the 60th minute, Martial through on goal and he takes me out. Yellow card of course :lol:

Inevitably he nicks two goals back, parks the bus and spends 20 minutes passing it between his goalkeeper and centre backs while my exhausted players stand still. Lovely.
 
I'm convinced this game is scripted. Just had a game on Ultimate Team where every fecking shot went at the keeper regardless of where I tried to put it and his first shot of the game went in. Around 10 shots alone in the first half. This was after 5 wins on the bounce.
