Decided to dump countinho shortly after getting him in a pack, doesn't suit my team one bit, I prefer mata in the cam role.
And for close range free kicks is there anyone better than mata, it's almost every time I get one close, it hits the back of the net.

Butland and Musa are the cheap players who will give even very poor players a chance in every game.
How's everyone doing this weekend league? Had a shocker in my last 10 games and got gold 2! Should have easily got gold 1 but continued playing games whilst in angry mode wish means rash challenges.

Yeah kante is really overpowered he gets in the perfect positions defensively
Only instructions I would use is get in behind and cut inside on wingers
Press backline, Get in behind on striker
Then cut passing lanes and stay back on kante
If it's working for you though no need to change it.
Terrible, I've given up. I played 12 games yesterday and my record was 6-6 every player I came up against was in ultra tryhard mode and the games were terrible even the ones I won.
How people manage to play 40 games each weekend is beyond me
I've taken to preemptively insulting people who back out to ease my frustration, by renaming my team name to BackOutCoward.

I'm established 2013 and (I'm not even joking) yesterday it took 8 attempts for me to get in a game. 8 times people matched up against me and immediately left. Thing is I'm not even that good, I'm about average in weekend league so they could've beat me quite easily.
Yep too many try hards. It's killing the game. Counter attack vs counter attack makes for a terrible game. EA should take off the "club established info" too many pussies.
Just earlier I played a team full of legends and SIF Ronaldo. He scored fist and did the shhh celebration and sat back all game...but then momentum swung my may and I ended up winning 2-1 with them rage quitting. Such wankers in this game.

Elite 3. Finally.
Played my first game just before the match started. First half constant lag and every input was 3-4 seconds behind. 2-0 down. Second half lag disappeared and I won 3-2. Absolute joke the lag on weekend league compared to the rest of the game.

Done for today. Biggest load of shite, lost 3 games in a row despite destroying the other guy and them scoring screamers. This last one I lost on pens with this guy having a neymar/bale/griezmann front 3 and doing feck all the entire game and then me missing sitters that always go in because fifa is fecked and then hitting the post and bar on my penalties. feck this game sometimes biggest load of shite ever

Aim after last night was Elite 3, now I'll be happy if I salvage Gold 1. Gold 2 would still be ok I guess. Had 14 wins and 6 losses last night, now on 16 wins and 10 losses. 14 games to get 9 wins (very doable, just need to go on a run).

I can't even get in the weekend league... are all you guys who are in it and doing well in div 1 seasons? I've peaked at div 3 in this one and usually in 2/3 on previous FIFAs so hardly a poor player.
Had a game earlier where I had 16 shots on target, 0 goals, he had 5 shots and all went in. Every shot I had went straight st keeper in middle of goal no matter where I aimed

I missed out on gold by about 5 games but I did miss two weeks at the beginning of the month.
Do most people here use just 1 team and then use a few subs, or rotate between 2 teams? Could make a pretty sweet team if I used it all on like 1 side, but then I would need fitness cards and there would be the risk of getting bored of the side. Tough choice really.
Well that's a bummer I wanted a couple of those red/silver gold cards instead I'll get some crappy silver IF red ones now in the monthly. That sucks I'll never use them. I've only played it for 3 weekends myself but I'm only 4 wins off gold 3 monthly. Could've done with the extra weekend but nevermind
I use two teams, but I keep the back line the same, buy 4 bronze cards at 150 coins a piece every two games for my defenders fitness.
feck fifa. Go on a 4 game losing streak and then finally put in a good, calm performance and then the ea servers kick me out when im winning 3-0. Probably got another loss from it.

How DNF is still a thing is pathetic. Most people prefer the other person leaving in ultimate team because everyone is grinding wins and there's always the threat of lagging out.
Losing a match through lagging out is punishment enough without it killing the coins you get in future matches. They could even make it 5 matches not finished before a reduced DNF comes in.

I didn't get to play until today but the amount of matches that have ended earlier is a joke. I'm 11 from 14 so far so on target for elite 3. No chance of finishing it now though with work at 6 in the morning
Don't think I've finished a single WL this month.
I'm never going to get more then silver 2 or 3 for monthly I think. Only ever have time for like 2 weekend leagues at most. This month I did the very first weekend and then this one (and even then didn't play all the games). How people get the top ranks every month is crazy, just couldn't imagine playing 40 games every single weekend (plus whatever else they do during the week). Playing it once a month is frustrating as feck as it is!
This is the first Fifa i have played over 50 games (on Ultimate team). Weekend league took Ultimate team to a new level after the removal of trading.
Turned it around with 5 wins in a row after I got disconnected from the servers despite wrecking the guy.... at gold right now, 5 games left to salvage gold 1 (need 4 wins). Unlikely but possible!
