Played 4 games in WL, up 2-0 in all 4, lost 3 of them, I'm out 
Any ideas how to play against tactical defending? I'm absolutely terrible at getting past any player who does it..
On the other hand, me and a mate won 3 Div 1-titles in a row yesterday with a 31-1-0 on Co-Op. Currently a better win/loss-ratio than anyone on the top 100, but we've played too few matches (only 60-70 wins, 8 losses)

Shield more. Pass backwards more, draw them out and then attack the gaps with driven passes.
High pressure isn't as effective this FIFA.
I'm talking about jockeying or whatever that is called. I feel every time I shield the ball, they just snap the ball from me..
Use L2+R2/LT+RT to evade tackles.

On 15 wins with 17 games left so probably looking like gold 1 for me this weekend. Had some very tough matches of late. Too many defensive minded opponents who sit right back. Most games going to pens or being decided by one silly mistake. God knows why i put myself through it! I don't really enjoy it but I'm just determined to get in Elite.
Is that formation really working for you? Can imagine you ending up having to create chances by dribbling with your strikers which can be hard.
As for a replacement for fernandinho, maybe Herrera or Gundogan?

Yeah, it's been working very well. The only issue for me, as I'm not really a great player, is that I have to play out of defense through the middle every time even when under immense pressure. But my CAM is getting loads of goals / chances
I bothers me persistently that 4-1-2-1-2 actually works in FIFA, when real life teams are so hesitant to use it. (And I'm aware that JukeZ is like the poster child of the formation). My thoughts are that its the failure of the AI off-the-ball to close the CAM (as a real life team would), and the failure of AI FBs to double up or even front the strikers, given that at times they have no one to mark.
That's why I've been focusing my competitive efforts on Pro Clubs, at least then when my team loses to 41212 I can't blame the defensive AI.
Funny how people are telling him to replace Fernandinho with Pogba. Fernandinho costs around 4k while Pogba is like 600k. It's like telling Tromsø IL to replace Sigurd Rushfeldt with Luis Suarez.

Absolute madness! I replaced Butland with Courtois and he's been atleast ten times the player for me so far.
Get bailly/koscielny for Vertonghen. Another option for your mid is rooney for Yaya, though ive never used yaya. Just dont like his low work rate though.
Also I cant recommend Martial enough, even on lower chem as a striker, so I would change one of Lukaku or Vardy for him. He's one of the best players I've used in the game, like seriously OP. Him, dybala, aubamayeng, kante, smalling, renato sanches are basically the OP players that will get in the strongest Fifa 11's per league no questions asked. Haven't used players like ronaldo, bale, neymar or messi (other then in draft), but honestly, when I play against them, they still dont seem as good as martial in this game.
Have 14 wins from 20 today, and of those I lost there was probably 2 that I didn't deserve anything out of. Once you stop holding X to defend and instead defend with L2 manually then I feel like its a lot more organized. Also you play a lot better if you arent getting pissed off at the game too

Only had 1 game where I lost my composure, went 3-0 down and was close to quitting at half time, instead I ate a slice of pizza and then hammered the guy in the second half. Seem to be playing a lot more ronaldo's, pogba, and SBC lacazettes then before too.

Martial for Vardy and Bailly/Luiz/Otamendi/Kompany(Otamendi is my favorite, but I've not used Bailly) for Vertonghen imo

I despise Sanches in this game. He was literally everywhere on the field. Pair him with Kante in there and it's like playing 2 cheetahs around the field.

Bailly is the best cb in the PL imo. Haven't used Koscielny but he just can't be better
Saw Lizard squad might be taking down PSN and XBL throughout the day, so be wary if you play.
Hopefully EA extend the WL if there's a lot of downtime.

I hated Koscienly when I used him. Far too weak imo
ter stagen is an impossible keeper to beat in this game
So basically unpin your PayPal and or credit card from your accounts, you shouldn't have then pinned for long when buying stuff anyways as there is always a risk.

Martial is so overpowered it's ridiculous, 7 goals in 6 games with 2 of those games coming from LW.
I tried Costa but couldn't get the best out of his skill-set and felt he wasn't as quick and agile as I like my strikers to be. Martial up top was a game changer, I was up and down from division 5 to 6 with previous teams but won my last 5 games to go up to division 4.

It's so fecking stupid that Martial is better than Messi. I have them both and he's easily better
This game has always been about pace and strength. They've never quite got the balance of balance / agility correct enough to show what messi is really good at.
As you say though martial is great. I assume it's because he was 1 of their main faces for the game, they've clearly given him a few secret tweaks
Don't rate Martial half as high as some of you lot. Sturridge for me is the best player in the prem on this. His goals to game ratio is something like 250 from 285 appearances for me.
Good left winger for me, nothing more. Scream Payet is far more productive.
Can't fecking buy a win here, this is ridiculous. Ever goalkeeper I come up against can save any shot, and mine... well the less said about him the better.
