Gaming FIFA 17

I've done my good deed for the day :)

I've automatically qualified for WL but I still play the daily knockout tourney just for the competitiveness.

I was just in the final and was smashing the kid 3-0 at halftime, he messaged me begging to let him win so he could gain entry to the WL, he seemed a very happy chap at the end. He was very thankful.

He's going to be in for a shock in the proper WL that's for sure.

I had lukaku close to the start, wasnt a fan really. Loved him last year but didnt take to him this year. Plenty seem to like him though. Prefer Costa with a hunter chem style to make up for the pace.

Costa it is then. Come to think of it he's usually a nightmare for me to defend against.
 
Any tips for the untradeable TOTW week SBC? Needs a minimum rating of 84, I only have a couple of spare players to throw straight in and a quick glance and I struggled to see many 84 rated players for lower than like 7k. Don't fancy spending 60k on a possible shite IF

All the 84s shot up the last day or 2. Forget what combo you need but if you look on the fifa subreddit it usually has somewhere explaining that you van get away with like 2 84 rated players, an 85 and the rest are different. It'll cost you probably around the 40-60k mark though if you dont have the players on hand. Havent tried it yet but from what i saw.

Cheers, found it on reddit. Just seen you can use two 84's, eight 83's and 1 80, which is good. Will give it a go.

Good stuff, thanks. Already got Kante with the first 30k or so I made selling my old players.

Has anyone tried Yaya or Silva?
 
Got this for my lad for Christmas and all was going well until we played an away match, now nothing but constant Direct X error messages saying the graphics card has been removed. Googling the solution has not been fruitful. Anyone any ideas how to solve this?

Yaya is decent but silva is a no go, he gets shoved off the ball so easily plus his weak foot and stamina are terrible.

I had TOTW Yaya but found him sluggish, poor stamina and generally not great. Selling him for 400k and getting Kante for 35k was one of the better moves I've made.

Switching formation clears instructions. Tactics remain the same.

When I saw it was a walkout, I was hoping for Hazard or Pogba. Was hoping EA wouldn't show me the Brazil flag haha.

Still a pretty good pack though :drool:
 
Anyone be interested in a FUT Caf tournament (PS4)? We usually do regular teams but might be a nice change. Could create a thread to gauge interest at the least.

God I'd love to be in your position! Surely you got more than 1 pack for finishing top 100 though? Nothing special in them?
 
Seriously gettting fed up with this now.

Every match goes like this

1. I dominate first 20 mins and go head, no lag
2. Game starts lagging, I continue dominating
3. Defender does something I'm not trying to do e.g. Passes opposite direction to where I'm aiming or misses the ball entitely, they equalise
4. I keep myself in the game until 80th minute
5. they score 3 goals as my defence goes walk about and they somehow run like usain bolt

4 100k packs and that Ultimate TOTW pack if you finish 2-10(was 4th) + 200k coins.

My 100k packs were awful though. I should have saved them for TOTY.
 
Gonna do this WL with my 2 squads and then I'm selling them all(almost) and make a new one. No point in having a United team cause I can just play normal seasons, and I dont even have ibra or pogba or de gea... so yeah.

Not sure what I'll want though. My 2 teams will get me 600k after the ea tax shit, plus I'll have 10k in the bank now plus whatever I get from WL (probably gold 3 if I play all the games). So that'll be like 20k from the games, 30k and 2 mega packs and 1 rare players pack from the rewards. On the safe side just say I'll get another 20k from the packs. So around 680k to spend on 2 squads likely (hopefully 700k though). Gonna try and get 2 hybrid squads and going to try and avoid spunking it all on one or 2 players and the rest being meh like I did currently with Modric and Dybala, as they always carry me.

Edit: think i got a decent 2 in mind. Will need 700k though.

Yeah that's my plan next year (it was this year aswell) save all my WL packs until toty and then open them to see if I can pull someone decent.

It's fecking strange, I was messing with it last night, had it at 83 with miki in just to see if an 85 would do it and it didn't budge, moved miki out for an 80 rated player and it went up to 84 :lol: something is broke with it

I sorted mine. Had a CDM in net changed that and it went up
 
First 2 games this WL disconnection losses. And with that I'm done :lol:
 
I can't really think of a way to improve my current teams (obviously there's better players to get but nothing that I'm desperate for) so my enthusiasm for this WL isn't really there. Missed two weeks this month anyway so I can't get anything decent in the monthly rewards.

I almost feel like retiring my red IF Mertens, 100 goals in 95 games. That record is amazing, especially for me.

Nice indeed mate. That Lacazette and Silva could be the start of a nice team. I've heard Lacazette is fun to play so the IF version is bound to play like Fellaini.
