I'm going serie A I want to try Dybala as I've heard he's amazing on It this year. I want Pogba but he's like 400k+ I don't know how people have that many coins already they must spend hundreds of real money on it.
Just in the middle of endless updates and installations. Might get to play this game tonight.

I tried deleting a few things and it seemed to eventually progress
I had the same. You only need to turn off WiFi for 10 seconds and turn it back on, works perfectly.
EA, please don't screw this game with updates. It's good.

Pissed off with the journey already. Played for a couple of hours earlier, found it a bit of a chore to get going, exited, now went back to play and it hasn't saved, why not auto save ffs\, I looked for a save in options and didn't see one, and when exiting it never said anything about losing progress
Edit ) closed Fifa and started again and there's a continue option now, but it's just continuing from where it started again a few minutes ago
Ok, it auto saves a few times so going to load game has fixed it

There is a load option in that menu.. There you can pick what auto save to start..
Why don't you just buy it in Tesco, then when the Amazon one arrives take it to Tesco and say you got it as a gift for someone but they went out and bought it themselves or some shit?
It's very well balanced. United and Atletico will be my favourite teams to pick online, have 3 wins and 1 draw (conceded a late equalizer) playing with them so far and it's been a complete joy. The biggest improvements are slower pace, much improved crossing and shooting. I like it a lot so far, you are finally able to play in midfield. The way I dominated Napoli with my intense Atletico just now was amazing.
Really like this game so far. Its actually annoying how many game modes i want to play. I want a career obviously, i want to play the story mode, aswell as seasons and co op seasons. Then there's ultimate team i will dabble in and I haven't even got round to entering into the Redcafe PS4 club yet!

In Ultimate Team I have 87 rated Oblak and I think he is yet to make a save in about 7 games

Seems like EA thinks that Klopp makes everyone 10-20% better than they are.
I was stuck at 83% aswell, nothing happened.
Didn't want to play against the AI, so i tried to quit the game and start it again... Nothing changed.
Played the damn match against Chelsea, after that, it was done installing.

Don't think their ratings are too far off the mark apart from Sturridge, an utter pain in the arse to play against.
Had a game with Leicester against Liverpool which I completely dominated yet still lost 2-1 to two counter attacks. Leicester are also great fun to play with, I feel like United have the best balance though and I am able to control games with them. With Leicester and Atletico it was more end to end.
About ready to give up on this after a day with it. The AI and the feel of the game are just awful.
Don't tell me you bought the game to play against the CPU. In that case you bought the wrong game
What chemistry is he on? And your team?
Put the 'cat' chemistry style on him, it should help a lot if him and your team have high chemistry ratings.

Getting to 400k isn't that hard if you play and get promoted a few times in the divisions, do the squad builder challenges, use the coin bonuses from the catalogue etc.
Just play online, playing against human will always be better than AI. Online seasons is very well balanced at this point, if they don't ruin this then it's probably another FIFA where I'm going to rack up 200-300 games.
This is the only game I play where I have to select the language every time upon start up. Why?

I always play offline career with my brother. I have played some online but it was filled with ball hogs so couldn't assess it. But I don't think much will change the whole game is just so unintelligent. The game selects the wrong animations, the wrong control, the wrong foot to pass with, etc constantly

Passing is so much more difficult and satisfying, especially those long crosses to switch the wing. I like that you're able to control the pace of the game, the game itself is much slower but you can still play at high intensity, fast football, but you're also able to switch and slow down while playing patiently in midfield. I'll be up to division 8 soon, got 3-1-3 record in 9 but my last two losses were very tight games where I feel I should have got something.
United, Atletico and Leicester have been brilliant, all get paired against different teams from what I see. United will be playing the top tier clubs (Real, Barcelona, Bayern, City), Atletico will be paired with the tier below (Juventus, Napoli, Dortmund, Arsenal), Leicester will be somewhere in-between what Atletico will be playing and the tier where the likes of Leverkusen, Roma and Valencia land. I feel Everton will also be a fun team, maybe Sevilla too.
Ultimate Team feels way, way too slow to me. If I have a simple pass to feet 5 yards in front of me, the players will take a few (utterly pointless) 'baby steps' and waste about half of a second before they pass the ball, and by that time the ball is intercepted. It's garbage.
Thought I'd give it a go this year, but looks like I'll be missing it out like last year.

It's actually way easier to score outside the area than in it. I've missed nearly Early every single 1 on 1 I've had in the box but I've scored loads from 20+yards out.

Have you tried using the low shot? You press B again after initially charging up your shot. So, hold B, then press B before the shot is fired. It's essentially a low shot that seems very good against one on ones.
No I've just tried finesse shot around keepers I'll try that then in future and see how I go.
I've been having same problem with finesse, even in the Practice Arena. When I tried the low shot, it seemed that almost every one went in (one-on-one), at least in practice.
It's the same every year on fifa. Whatever new additions they make are usually massively overpowered in order to make them noticeable. Last year using the no touch dribbling was far too easy this year it's the low shot. I'm sort of hoping they nerf it slightly in the updates as I'm sick of seeing the same goal scored already.
They needed to change the finesse shots though because they were becoming ridiculous.
Team is on 100 and he is on 7. Every 1v1 against me goes in when you'd think he'd bail me out every now and then. Might just buy De Gea.
