As predicted yesterday, despite enjoying Pro Evo so far, on the way to work I stopped at the very first shop I drove past today to pick up FIFA (decent price too, Morrisons selling for £38 plus 10% off if you've got UniDays) and I've booked the afternoon off so will get stuck in a few hours.
Any reasons to buy a physical copy and not download it? Is Ultimate Team on, it's all I play...
FUT this year is as sweaty as ever. Feel like I'm playing the same game over and over again. Thankfully I know Co-ops and pro clubs is much better this year. Regular season seems far more enjoyable as well.

It's really annoying, because I love building a team, and applying chemistry styles to players to adapt to how I would like each player to perform. I just wish it wasn't so pedal to the medal all the time.
It's just ridiculously end-to-end. No build up play at all. If you hang on to the ball for any amount of time, you can easily get dispossessed, then you are screwed as the defence has pushed up and the CDM has gone on walkies leaving the defence totally vulnerable to the counter.
The only way to combat this is to literally pass the ball first time all the time due to the degenpress from the opponent, which just doesn't happen in football.
Grabbed it this morning in Argos and made a 20 euro saving on the game and PSN subscription fee. Gamestop wanted 70 euro for it I am so done buying all my games there now.

Thought I'd give this a go. Took me 10 minutes to find a seasons game with United. When I finally found a game it got stuck while loading and I had to quit the game. Not the best of starts for me.
I'm going to play it pack only again this year, adds a bit of longetivity and makes things interesting.

Has anybody downloaded the Fifa Companion App for Android/IPhone? I'd recommend it. The squad building challenges are good and it passes time if you're bored on your lunch break.
Ordered it on Amazon, still waiting for it to come, pretty frustrating.

After 12 goals and several assists in the three pre-season games (two as a sub) I still didn't start the first PL game.
I ace every single training drill and still don't make the jump to starter.
After five goals and five assists as a sub in two PL games United sign Harry Kane as their star striker in Ibra's absence (due to injury)
Gareth Walker gets picked in my position (CAM) because he's "a better fit for the system" and I get sent out on loan.
The most unrealistic part? Harry Kane gets the number 10 shirt. I have no idea where Rooney is but he's somehow been successfully fecked off.

In FIFA 15 you could press the RB button (on Xbone) to stop with the ball, it made turning and dribbling much easier.

Can you not cross the ball along the floor anymore? Last Fifa I played was 15 but I'm sure it worked by tapping the cross button three times.
Yep - single tap is a high cross, double tap is a low cross and triple tap is along the ground.

Why don't you just cancel the order? I'm in a position where I can't cancel my pre order from GameStop, my only option is to buy the game again from the store and send the shipped copy back to them. Too much hassle so I'll wait until tomorrow. It better fecking come.
