Nice one, I'll look into that. Thanks.
I find Herrera way too weak, gets muscled off the ball way to easily for my taste.United have a fantastic squad for a 4-3-3 with a CDM and two CM's. Schneiderlin behind Schweinsteiger and Herrera is very nice.
Why don't you use a variation of the 4-3-3, where you make your wing forwards, midfielders?
4-2-3-1,4-3-2-1.
Try Rooney or Fellaini there.I find Herrera way too weak, gets muscled off the ball way to easily for my taste.
Change what view? The console sales are still massively different.Blimey you won't change your view! Yes a lot of people have a PS3, but a lot of them will have moved over to PS4 now....hence only 6% sales on PS3. Simple as that mate! With low sales like that, they won't bother with the old generation soon I hope

I personally played the demo and decided I didn't want to buy the game. If I thought like that I bet you a lot of other people did as well. That's at least some percentage difference explained right there.
The numbers will be different January 1st. Not 50-50 but different.
I played a game against some Saudi Arabian side during preseason and they passed the ball like Barcelona. It's so frustratingI'm enjoying career mode for the first time in FIFA. Games are tight all right but aren't they meant to be that way? Well, if you're playing Sunderland or Norwich at in good form then you can make it a route but you're not really supposed to run away with victory against Chelsea, City or Arsenal. I like it this way, even away to Bournemouth and Leicester are great challenges and great games in its own way (actually I barely managed a 1-0 win at Bournemouth and drew 2-2 at Leicester despite dominating them completely and having a very strong finish to the game).
Banega is slow as feck though. You need that small bit of acceleration to turn move into space.Ever Banega is the best player in this game. Good passer, great dribbler, excellent free kicks and long shots. Overall I really recommend building an Argentinian team in UT. Biglia and Garay are also really good.
The 4-1-4-1 formation is working really well this year.
This is also the first time in years that I've bothered with career mode. The training feature is actually fun, enjoying it so far.
There isn't. I'm only going by the sample that I know. The only people that I know that have bought the game are PS4 users. Don't know a single PS3 user that has bought it. Seems to be the same thing on the caf. PS4 users were in the beta stages, they were pre-ordering and playing it on release day. Heard very little PS3 talk here.So what's to say some people on ps4 didn't think that too?
According to Chart-Track FIFA 16 sold 7 per cent less than FIFA 15 in its first week, despite being released a day early. Although thanks to price increases and the Deluxe and Ultimate Team editions EA only made 4 per cent less in revenue.
It’s a relatively small decline but it’s hard to say what caused it. Although it’s tempting to suggest the somewhat mixed reviews, or the more rapturous response to PES 2016, played a part there’s no way to prove that.
What’s more likely to have caused the drop is the fall in sales on the last gen consoles. Last year the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions accounted for 45 per cent of week one sales, whereas this year they were down to just 19 per cent.

Don't. He's absolutely useless.Try Rooney or Fellaini there.
Digital sales are not counted. So that's everyone with EA Access.
So does this suggest that other 16% of players bought digital copies this year instead?
7% wasn't it? I'm sure sales are down, but with digital sales growing, it could explain the gap.
Also Fifa 16 was released early to those with EA Access (PC/Xbox One) so i'm assuming those people went for digital copies.
Haven't used him yet personally, that'd be a disappointment though, he's been a monster for years.Don't. He's absolutely useless.
Or perhaps more people have purchased the new gen consoles with
Ps4 selling 23m units already (less than 2 years), compared to the 83m (total)sales of its predecessor.
Xb1 - 10m (2 years), xb 360 - 84m (total)
What has that got to do with the decline in sales from Fifa 15 to Fifa 16? All i said was that those charts only count physical copies, and with the rise of digital downloads, and the fact that EA access was giving the game early to members, means that the 7% could easily be made up by digital copies...

The game is also less than a week old. Both reviews and sales figures can't be taken very seriously on the whole. It basically gives us the first impressions and who buys games first (which is understandably new gen console gamers). But if you want to go specifically into that (I know you didn't) then FIFA16 has sold 7% less copies than FIFA15 did in it's first week (16 even had an extra day counted).
The figures will look differently after the Christmas period and then again after the console drops in price (if it does so far away enough from the next release).
Yes but my point is, the PS3 might have sold a lot more - but a lot of those users have now migrated to PS4. Therefore why would developers worry about making games for the old generation now. That was your original point weeks ago, that there are more PS3 consoles out there so why wasn't it the priority.Change what view? The console sales are still massively different.

The overall argument had to do with the suggestion that the decline of sales for FIFA 2016 may be due to the fact that a lot of people may have already made the jump to the next gen consoles, and just as you are speculating with your theory about digital sales, I am using the actual console sales figures to back up my suggestion that the decline in sales of FIFA from 15 to 16 in the previous gen consoles may just be as a result of the fact that people made the jump early.
Surprisingly loving it so far. Feels very fluid, kinda more like FIFA 14, especially the shooting.
But WHAT THE feck is that fog weather? It looks like smoke, I kinda had to put my face into the screen to see which player I was controlling. Really annoying.
This really feels like a football game should, I'm tempted to say it's on the level of NBA 2k in terms of capturing the essence of the sport it's trying to simulate.
One thing that really annoys me though is that the keepers collect or punch out basically every corner unless it's really far out. So I usually have to play a short pass. Same goes for crosses, goalies deal with them with ease, so I usually have to cut in.
Goalkeepers are way to good, period. However if you tone them down to 20 with the sliders they are no longer superhuman and the game becomes even better. As great as it is, still not as good as NBA 2k16 in all honesty.
And I've told you many times that the reason that EA should care is because more than half of PS users are still using the PS3. There are over 65 million active PSN users and PS4 has "only" sold ~22 million units. That's a lot of millions of active users still using their PS3.Yes but my point is, the PS3 might have sold a lot more - but a lot of those users have now migrated to PS4. it's not the priority because it's the old generation now. The money is in the current generation, as seen by the sales that I and others have posted.

They are, but this aspect is especially annoying since it's probably an easy fix and would add an extra dimension to attack, which really shouldn't be as weak as it is (probably half of all goals in the Premier league are from crosses dammit ).
I haven't played 2k16 yet, but I'll take your word for it, since 15 was also great.
Try the no-touch dribbling. Messi is the best in the game at it.Is it just me or does every outfield player feel exactly the same? If it wasn't for the 4 star skills and being a tiny bit quicker I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Flamini and Messi.

The goalkeepers are annoying me too, they seem to catch fecking everything, looks so unrealistic.
Also, is anyone having the problem of one of your centre backs deciding to practically stand on top of your goalkeeper when the opposition enter your box, meaning your GK can't move when they shoot? Really annoying bug.
