Mata's always been 85 since the beginning of FIFA 15 hasn't he? Rooney should definitely be downgraded - people have been calling for it to happen for ages now but I'd say about 84/85 is about right. That's still a great overall, which is accurate because Rooney can still be great at times.

Where has it been confirmed that Mata has been decreased? Just because he didn't make the 85 list on the top50, doesn't mean he's been downgraded since there are a lot of players who missed out on the list.

Mata will be downgraded. His position will be RM, and his pace should, if the game is realistic, be about 60 something. I'd say 84 is fair. Ratings to others like Rooney, Ozil, Cesc etc. getting upgraded or staying the same is bizarre but EA are always one step forward two step back.

You know honestly I wouldn't put it past City that when they signed that deal with EA a few years ago, they put in a clause saying that United must be downgraded here and there.

True, it felt amazing in the beginning. Much better physics etc. But it was the first FIFA for years, which i didn't even play once in the 2nd half of the season. Yeah the last time i played it was somewhen last year.
It's kind of baffling that Ronaldo still has 5 star skill moves while Zlatan has 4.
