Gaming FIFA 16

Ah, I see.

I'll guess that they'll be...

Romero: 80

Darmian: 81
Valencia: 78
Smalling: 81
Rojo: 79
Jones: 77
Evans: 74
Shaw: 78

Carrick: 82
Herrera: 82
Fellaini: 81
Schneiderlin: 83
Schweinsteiger: 87
Mata: 85
Young: 82
Januzaj: 76
Depay: 81

Rooney: 85
Chicharito: 81
Wilson: 72

Darmain would be less than 80. trust me.

I think that's a fair assessment after playing both beta and demo.

Furious that nothing has changed in pro clubs. Obviously it feels slower, but we have to wait and see when everyone has 88 pros. Crossing is overpowered again.

Pro clubs has been the same since it came out in FIFA 10. They should have got rid of accomplishments years ago. They should let you improve the non pros in your team.

I end up getting both. But for first time in ages might play PES for head to head and FIFA just for clubs.

So, nothing changed gameplay, ai, etc wise?

Why would Romero go from 75/76 to 80?

Dunno, bigger club = bigger rating.

He was rated 74-75 as a LM last season but when you switch his position to RB in edit player, he's rated 78-79 as a right back. A boost of 1 or 2 isn't out of the question.
Went up to 79 when I changed him to a right back... So yeah, can definitely see him being an 80.

Been saying for ages, not buying it this year, nope.

Totally gonna buy it. FML.

Another squad update for your bucks... Same shit new year.

I honestly don't really know what you guys are talking about. They changed lots of things in FIFA 15 and aside from too much randomness with penalties ball control and defenders sometimes being a bit too passive I actually think it's a great game. Certainly if you play it with friends, because the biggest problem about FIFA is definitely the community. If 4/5 of your opponents aren't all that interested in playing football and just want to spam the one attack they think is good this year or abuse pace/through balls then it doesn't really matter how well or bad they design the game online matches are always gonna feel shitty.

I didn't buy it last year and I won't this year. It's not that hard guys.

Quick question about FIFA 15 (sorry couldn't find the thread for some reason).

Do they update the teams online to reflect the start of the season?

So can I play with Depay at United etc.?
Nope, they update the transfers in UT as they can still make money from it but they totally ignore the transfers in online seasons as it'd stop people from buying the new game.

I've just played the PES demo and it might have converted me for good. I don't think I can bring myself to buy the recycled thrash EA wheel out each year anymore. Ultimate Team is their cash cow, so they couldn't give a feck about improving anything.

Totally agree with this. It annoys me when you play Clubs that your AI players change with every game - would really add to the mode if you had an actual squad of players (your fellow club players, plus a set pool of AI players). You could then have then develop over time - and help your club actually get better.

If you took this a bit further, when you setup the club, you could decide the types of traits your players had - even on a very simple level this would add to the club concept.

Not always. Luke Shaw only got 1 added point after the amazing season he had and Herrera and Rojo didn't go up at all.
Exactly, that proves the point, joining a Man Utd side that finished 7th a weak boost despite a stellar season. Had we finished the season before in the CL, likely they would have had a better boost.

Not at all. Over the years, players have never had a 3/4/5 point increase just because of the team they're joining. They get updated throughout the season if they turn out to be a good buy. Fellaini didn't get an increase when he joined, either.

I've done ratings for Fifa before and joining a bigger side has nothing to do with boosting ratings. It will often happen though because when they join a new side the editors of that team and league will look to update him. Especially when they are from a smaller club who won't have as many editors and the player could have gone months without being changed.

Pretty sure I saw a picture somewhere that Memphis is 82. Or video, from like an ultimate team thing from the beta that had Memphis as an 82. Didn't have anyone else from United though I don't think.

Memphis is rated 79, Mata 85 Roo 86 & Basti 88 on FUT in FIFA 16
That can't be right surely, he was 79 last year for PSV. Considering the season he had last year he should easily be 82-83

The most important thing to remember about the overall ratings is that they don't matter.

Think those ratings are 2015, Mata was 85 iirc and Bastian's number matches as well.

Ive been playing the FUT beta and these are the ratings I have come across playing the Draft mode of FUT, it does state that the ratings and transfers are not final however

I just wish they'd include an automatic disconnect for mofos who afk, because their pathetic egos can't handle losing at a game.

I begrudge buying this game but I know I will. It makes me sick.
Same. my story every year *sigh*
Leave it a year and buy it second hand!

Thats what I do. I can't wait to get my hands in FIFA 15!!

Someone always (usually) posts a database update for the previous version, so you can even get the new squads! And you save yourself £50 a year!

You don't need ultimate team or any shite like that.

I'd say, unless you play online a decent amount... Break the cycle! Break it!

I only play online rcooby but I'm sure I wont be buying this year. I mean I might get it for cheap next year.

Anyone know if there's a place to download current squads for PC version?

playing the FUT 16 beta u logged on this evening and found I had been credit 25k in fifa points, not sure if I will get to keep these when the game is actually released tho, I have opened 12k worth of Gold packs at 150 points each and got nobody worth mentioning I did however manage to buy Rooney in the transfer market for 600 coins, he's rated 86 overall

Beta would be more about the actual game testing. They could easily keep the overalls the same so as to not get the word out.

Wow! A whole £50 in just a year?

 but I haven't paid more than £30-35 for FIFA ever I don't think. Got it for 99p a couple years back. Could always get it for £20-25 from Tesco but now it's more like £30-35 on release.

Yeah, okay, £30 a year. Still far too much money for a minor update.

I only really play FIFA with mates rounds, and we've all just got used to playing the FIFA from the previous year. System works well.

Yeah, those are the same as 2015 so they definitely aren't final. I saw somewhere that Memphis was an 82, but we'll see I guess.

A work colleague of mine told me today that he plans to spend £80 on FUT on release day.

He was getting all giggidy and excited about it too. Absolutely pathetic behaviour from a grown ass man.

No wonder EA can't be arsed with any other mode improvements when idiots are literally shoving money in their faces in order to create a virtual football team.

Exactly. The don't need to with people shoving all their money into FUT. Bad enough when its kids with the parents credit card but for christ sake  £80
