Fifa 12: Ultimate team

The game isnt out yet so you cant play with them. And the more money you have the more you can look to buy cards you believe you can sell for higher and therefore have more money when the game comes out. Also, I'm not sure about this, but I believe with the special edition of the game you get some free packs anyway so you'll probably have enough of a team just from that. The first few tournaments will be for bronze/silver and low team rating anyway.

You need team chemistry more than the stats of one player.

You get that by matching players up in formations they like and players from the same country or league etc..

For example I am building a Brazilian squad so even though Caneles is a good player he is of no use to me.

About 17k so far on my ps3 account, plus just over 8k on xbox 360 provided everything sells at my starting bids
 
I have about 500 coins after I went all out for Wilshere at 5.5k. Wanted him in my team and suspect his price will increase.

Hmmm... Well i've had a few bid tokens & a mini bronze pack :(

I was away over the weekend too, so didn't get any packs for the days I was away :mad:
 
Just check the auction listings for brazillian left backs at premier league united. All the fabios on sale will be up there, look at the buy it now prices. You probably wont get much more than the lowest listing and if there are multiple of that price, then you wont have too many options right now. But the main thing which will hold the value down are the buy it nows of the cards that are like 3-12 hours from ending. They'll be up there all that time so you'll have to at least match the price on offer

Got the basis of a decent mid range team Brazilian team now.

99 chemistry and 3 stars. Just need to build a squad now with bronze and more silvers for the lesser tourneys.

Will there be a gold tournament out on release? I've built an English-Prem-Gold team.

Will be gutted if it's all bronze and silver tournies.
 
I got a mini bronze pack with a ball, a kit and a shite goalie today. I've got a decent little bronze side and a good 3.5 star Argentine side with Crespo up top :drool:
 
Pretty sure the first tournaments will be bronze/silver. But they'll also be very easy so it shouldnt take long to unlock the tournaments where you can use some gold players
 
Wouldn't mind a silver pack, all I've had are bonus tokens, 1000 coins and a mini bronze pack :lol:

Suppose i'll have to look forward to my 18 Gold Packs spread over 6 months :smirk:

Granted I've been using 2 different acounts for the last couple of days (ps3 and xbox)

The reason he's on the bench is the 4-3-3 doesn't employ a CDM, only three CM. I havn't got a decent manager yet, so putting in Rodwell brings the chemistry down a couple of points to 90.

Could still work better mind...

There's usually a "all from the same league" or "all of the same nationality" tourny, just hope they don't put a cap on the standard. ...Else I'm fecked.
 
I'd say they would definitely have to put a cap on the standard at this early stage of the game. Most people will have bronze/silver teams whereas there will be people who got very lucky with the free cards and have a pretty great team. Would be unfair for these two teams to meet.

All bronze apart from Pugh so might have to take him out for a bronze tourny. Quite like it though. I just want the game to come out!

Bit of trading, buying low, selling high. Also got kinda lucky with one of the starter packs and got Ramires who sold for 4k.
 
Could you suggest what sort of players are good for that then, to get me started?

I've always been interested in the trading aspect of the game but I've never been good at it. I really want to get into it for FIFA12.
