Might need your help guys to do with David Villa. No-one seems to have the money/be willing to part with ~130k for him at the moment, so I'm considering swapping him for a PL player.

What PL player could I realistically swap him for? I got an offer for Tevez a few days ago which I turned down, would it be too ambitious to try and swap him for a Rooney? What about an Ageuro, IF Van Persie, Suarez or Drogba?

Just won a tournament worth 1.9k. Weird set of games. Won the first 13-1 against someone completley shit, then only won 1-0 against a shit team with shit chemistry, came behind to win 3-2 against an equally shit team then thrashed a guy 7-2 in the final with Aguero and Benezma up-front.

Not sure tbh. The game is still new so there's no real market price for these best rare players. Best to make your own judgement and monitor carefully the high prices that these players are going for.
 
Well there's not many of him on the market, and those that are don't have bids on them. However, the cheapest ones (obviously you always get some players put up for silly money) seem to be around the 130k mark.

I'm just wondering what player I should trade him for... I'd love a Rooney but I doubt I'd get one.

Playing a bloke who has Anelka, Higuain, Van der Vaart, Sagna, Pique, Cole, Yaya Toure, Vermaelen, Aimar and Valdes in his team..

I hit the post and bar against him, still 0-0. I wonder how satisfying that is, spending all that money on your UT and still being shit.

I bought De Gea for 7400 coins. He's fecking brilliant for an 80 rated keeper.
 
So I just opened the packs that come with your UT, I need to get some wheeler dealing going on...

I got a few golds... being a 79 GK, plus PIG as my backup, a 79 CB, 79 RB, then a trio of 77s in CM CAM and CM.

Then some silvers and the usual shit bronzes.
 
I got some pretty good players in gold packs recently. Essien, Gervinho, Hazard.
 
Not playing UT again until this fix the servers. Played 2 games, winning both when both opponents quit the game. I then get a pitiful amount of coins (due to my DNF being reset for some reason) and then get disconnected from the server, meaning I get a loss even though the match has finished and I get the coins I would do as I won! Poor show from EA.
 
So whats the best way to make some easy coin on this then? I flat out refuse to pay for packs with real money so my tactic right now is to grind the offline tournies with my crap players. I'm not far off 5000 coins so should I invest that in a gold pack and hope I get lucky or look to start some trading?

Trading is the easiest way of making money. My tactic is finding the price of one player who can easily be sold for around £20k-£22k on buy now. I found a player, the same one I used on Fifa 11, and bought at auction for 17k or so and then sold BIN for 21k or so, making £3k profit each time. After doing this a few times, I could afford two of this player. I've now got 6 on the go and just do this using the web app while I play career mode. As long as you know the price of one player, you know what to pay at auction which will give you a profit at BIN. Either do this with one player and keep buying more of that player or do it with 2/3. I just stick with one for an easy search.
You could play tournaments while trading but it's easier trading on the app which you can't log into whilst in UT on the game (in Fifa 10 you could which was great).
 
Thanks, I just started using the web app. I managed to pickup Welbeck for 1000 coins on an auction, I looked around and his buy now price is 3000+ so i have stuck him on a new auction with a 3000 buy now. I want to build up some solid coins before taking a single chance on a gold pack just to swear at it for giving me shite players, one and only time.

But sound advice that, im gonna do some wheeling & dealing.
 
I got Kaka but no ones seems to want to pay big bucks. irritating. Also got Gotze in tha same pack and surprised he aint getting much interest.

I can never get on the web app either, bastards.

So the only guy out of place is Banega but I got him so cheap I couldn't resist. Whole lot cost me 5400 coins and considering you spend about that on one gold pack its pretty good value for an all gold team and chemistry of 80+. It's just a shame I am totally useless online.
 
Decided to trade in some coins for a gold pack for the first time last night.

Got a load of cack and Jack Wilshire, wasn't to bad I guess.

I don't really play games on it mind, just enjoy wheeler dealin'...
 
I have used 30K on coins today for the Gold Promo packs and it gave me jack shit, the cnuts.

But yeah trading is pretty easy on this now, once you know what sells and unlike most traders I think I actually play games with my team. I've still stuck with the cheapo gold 11 whilst I am now gradually starting to build up a bronze team using packs and cheap deals.
