I can't believe it. The guy I was playing against (we did a rematch) was a terrible shot. But every single time he took a shot, which usually went straight at the keeper, it bounced off the keeper and went in. I've won against (and lost to) far better players than that, so I'm genuinely embarrassed now.

The thing that sums up the stupidity of the game most for me, is when I was playing a guy who was Chelski, he hit a massive long ball that Drogba was running at and my keeper was running at. My keeper was favourite to get to it, but he just fell, for no reason, he just fecking fell. Drogba then took the ball, was almost right infront of the goal and my defender was closing, and he literally tapped it towards the open net and it hit the post

I'm really bad at finishing in FIFA10. In some games I do very well, but I usually have a lot of chances online, and need them to score a few. I choose to chip when I should shoot, and choose to shoot when I should chip. And if I shoot, it usually either hits the post or goes just past it. Or the keeper gets it. Or something. So it was really pissing me off when this guy was firing very normal shots straight at the keeper, and they went in.
I'm also pretty rubbish at headers. I'll very often get on the end of a corner, and regularly crosses as well, but rarely do I actually put it on target, let alone score.

ive been improving my finishing a lot thanks to the fact that currently i mainly play virtual pro matches with my guy who plays as an AM/F C kind of role - something like the Gerrard of last season. All those one on ones with the goalie are starting to pay off a bit.

Another retarded thing. I'm playing a Manager Mode as Sunderland and I've set my default home ground as the Bernabéu. Why the feck do I hear 'United Calypso' every game?

Okay, now I'm pissed off. I've been down 0-1 and scored to very late goals myself, but it's never before happened against me. And it just did. Against Chelsea. After I had wasted yet another dozen good chances. I'm not sure why I bother playing when I need four times as many chances to score as everyone else. I usually create as many chances, but really, come on. I'm either useless at finishing or brilliant at finishing. There is no middle ground.

Played well though, I was Roma he was Arsenal, but it was me playing like Arsenal, scored some wonderful team goals. Thought I was going shit as the game before some guy beat me comfortably 3 - 1 with Spurs. Tore me to shit with Lennon, couldn't handle his dribbling.

Was beating some guy 3-0 with United vs Real Madrid and he disconnected the prick.
Then played one more game, United vs Inter. Was losing 2-1 with 10 minutes, left. Got a goal from Rooney with 8 minutes left, then in the last minute, amazing through pass by Berbatov to Rooney who tucked it away.
Have to say it was a classic way to win in the last minute

Disclaimer: If I lose, I was being ironic and stuff.
I had a good spell after my last whine, but this is still very much true for me. One game I'll pull off some spectacular finishes, and the next game I'll put everything off target. It's messing with my morale
playing against the computer and the game is starting to really annoy me; the dribbling and the strength of the players have certain issues, which make it really unrealistic and frustrating you can rarely round a player with a cut back or turn they just body check you and take the ball even when your dribbling faster and when you put it in a place they shouldn't be able to get it.
I find most body checks are free kicks, unless the attacker is the one running into the other player and the other player doesn't move into the path of the attacker... which is rightfully not a free kick.
Honestly if they released a squad update i would.
any news on this patch they are meant to be releasing?
