Fellaini

I have really hated how the club have gone about their business this summer. The worst I can recall.

Shambles and laughable if we end up paying well over that 23 mill for Fellaini. He was an obvious addition to the club and without any fuss could have signed July 1st
People keep saying this again and again but if he was our first choice, we probably would have. He obviously wasn't, so we prioritised other targets first.

If you didn't know any of the information from social and paper media then you wouldn't give a feck. I guarantee it.

If you don't focus on the shite then it won't bother you.

Fellaini is a poor man's felcher.
Is this the best you've got to offer? Lets just sit back and look at how far you have fallen. It's quite sad.
You'd best sit tight for a while, and come up with some decent material.

Has Fellaini ever scored 2 goals in a game (despite a season as a second striker)?

Neither has Ramsey in the PL.

(Obviously I'm not including games played in the also-ran playoffs.)

Ive seen a couple of people say this, what exactly are the quotes?

I personally only expected us to sign 1 CM this summer - although I thought there was a chance Anderson might leave and therefore we would need another.
He told the journos off the record that were in Malaysia with them on our pre season tour. All the papers ran with the story the same day - in that story was that we could make a move for Fellaini once we'd had a look at other targets.

here we go with this arsenal player > others again..

Its a ABU thing this isn't it? I still remember having arguments with a Liverpool mate of mine who believed that they were stronger then us in defense, midfield and forward line. It was the year we won the treble.

I think the problem for some folks is that Fellaini and Fabregas (who was seemingly our first chocie if we're to only believe what the club has told us) are totally different players - and getting both of them would have been useful additions to the side.

£25m for Baines would be ridiculous. I realise that money in football is arbitary and who really gives a feck how much we're spending... but £25m? Leighton Baines? Madness.

No fecking way! I'd rather we go with Anderson then.
Totally agree. But with Everton rejecting our bids, and I imagine Woody/Moyes are desperate to add to our squad before tuesday, it could be what I feared, that we would sign them on the last day for at least £47M. I won't be surprised to see it reach over £50M either, we should get Fellaini for £27M and Baines can go from anywhere between £20M-£27M.

here's a youtube vid with some terrible music.

and here's another though the music isn't terrible it doesn't work

I think we should sign Baines, Fellaini, McCarthy and Luke Shaw altogether, just to piss Everton off. And then stick them in the reserves and play Anderson and Büttner. And win the league, just because we can.

How can he be so strong? He seems to be able to chest it down regardless of who's around him. I would love to see a clash between Ibra and Fellaini.

Imagine him, vidic and evra on set pieces.

I loved putting evra there :)

50 million for the pair of them would be bad business.

£27m for Baines would be downright hilarious, it'd be long past the point of insane.

If the club actually paid £25m for Baines I would seriously question their sanity.

And people who are in charge for that (Woody/Moyes) should look for another job. Preferably something that has nothing to do with money/football.
