Maybe it will the end as a £25M deal. Everton will try and get £25M for Baines too so the total will be £50M.

Everton won't get anywhere near £25m for Baines.

I heard somewhere that they were willing to let Fellaini go, but won't sell Baines unless they get £25M, and an extra £5M based on games played (and trophies and such). Could be the most spent on a player in our history if true.

If we beat or go anywhere near our transfer record for Baines I'll die a little inside.

I reckon he will be officially signed by the end of today. Watch this space.

Van Persie had his medical quite late, almost at the end of the day.

There's some chance but Everton would have to accept our offer in the next hour or two.

Who gives a flying feck if it's disclosed, undisclosed or written in bloody sky writing before the Liverpool game?

Me. I still like to know how much we buy and sell for. Even though it means less now the club's owners are purely in it for the money, it must still be better for us if we're getting good deals. The sky writing bit doesn't work.

Sky said he's likely to play against Cardiff but is still close to moving to us, so doesn't mean anything.

Fellaini being fit to play a football match shouldn't be a bad thing for us.

If he'll sign, he'll be ready for United challenge.

I agree, Real paying all that money for someone who has had no pre-season and will not be match fit. God only knows when Bale will be ready for Real.

The pressure on him will be way bigger than on Neymar. Spoiled Madrid fans will probably expect instant miracles from a player that just arrived to different league for 100 millions.

Marouane will just have to do his usual and it will help us already a lot.

Top clubs spend a lot of money on PR, so yes, it would seem they do.

In order to improve income.

A few moaning people moaningon the internet about the club not buying players or paying too much for the players they buy won't impact that.

Of course it's about income, so where do you thing the income comes from, aliens?
PR is a massive industry, it's aimed at everybody mate, the Sunny Jims of this world, the 711s, and the Cnuts.

Tey won't improve or decrease the income from me based on if, who and how much we pay for players.

If we have signed him for £25mil when he was a available for £23mil, that's a joke. If you cost any other business £2million quid with a mistake you would be gone. But this is far from confirmed.
