Fellaini

He wouldn't have helped in a game like tonight. It was creativity from the centre we needed, not more defensive steel.

He'd have his place in other games, but can't see him making the difference in a big game unless he oafs in a corner or something.

I think he'd be very useful against City, but I doubt he would have made much difference against what was essentially a pretty lightweight Chelsea side.

Fellaini is the kind of player i would have liked to force a way through at the end of the game. When we don't have the time anymore to combine a way through, just give a long ball with Fellaini in the pack, or a cross. Always danger when he is in that role.

To be fair, having maybe the biggest aerial threat in the league will be a huge asset, can't hurt to have another avenue to settle tight games, we had 2 corners in the final minute of injury time last night, for example.

We would be fairly handy in the air with Vidic, Ferdinand, Jones, Fellaini, Welbeck and Van Persie, with Evra needing picking up too

This is my biggest fear, that we resort to lumping the ball to Fellaini.

As long as it gets us results it doesn't bother me if we do it from time to time to be fair. Always nice to have a plan B.

Prefer we go for Barkley, but why not send £40 million for the both of them.

Is he capable of playing on the wing as an AM? Then he has more chances of signing for us. But if he only plays CAM, then I doubt we need him since we have Rooney, Kagawa and Januzaj.

Plays CM and AM. We've used Cleverley wide, no reason to think Barkley couldnt

Can't be having this. Mods should be sorting this kind of shite out

I've fined RDCR07 one weeks wages but my assistant manger says he was rather lax in his efforts at training today as a result.

Also, the supporter's club has slammed my handling of the situation.

Thats what you get for fining me for no reason. Im an important player of this redcafe team. :D

That's fair enough.

Delighted we've finally got him, and delighted we've not got Baines

Cool, he'll be a good addition to the squad. Carrick and Fellaini to provide the stability in midfield, Nani, Rooney, Kagawa, Zaha and RVP to provide the creative and attacking threat. Me likey!!

Cool. Happy with that. Means we can play the less 'safe' Kagawa more often without worrying about our defence.

Good player and will give us a new dimension in attack and in defence.

Yeah that would be a good positive if we did sign him, might allow us to give the likes of Nani and Kagawa to attack in the way City can give Silva/nasri/navas using a solid base.

Yep. Though I hope Cleverley doesn't fall too much out of favour. I really like him.

Well if we get him I hope we can agree a trade with Chelsea and load of Rooney for Mata. Next summer then we pay Schalke the buyout clause for Draxler and our midfield is all of a sudden looking much better. Make it happen Woody.
