Fellaini

If he fails to bring success on short/mid term then people will still judge his transfer signings and his football knowledge which seems limited to the EPL (whose lets face it is hardly the best league to make bargains)

I would wager that less than half of the players he signed in his time at Everton were from the Premier League. Which would make you wrong.

This always amuses me. Did Scholes have a bad temperament based on the fact he was a shit tackler?

Did you ever actually watch us play? Scholes got booked a lot, for few fouls. Fellaini had the most fouls in the league.

...You're saying at this moment in time, Pogba is a far better player than Fellaini?

I'd say that's quite obvious, yes. He's a far better CM at least. I'll admit that Fellaini shits all over him when it comes to playing as a target man.

His career at Everton means little now. He's at United now. My point is that if he doesn't deliver success that the knifes from media and fans will come out irrespective on whether he bought 'safe' bets or not. FFS before the treble season there were still fans and critics questioning whether SAF has what it takes to win the CL. However there's a twist to that. If Moyes bring 1-2 dunces and we still win important honors then no one (or few) will give any notice. Viv Anderson was far from SAF's best signings but no one gives a feck to that doesn't we?

If his career at Everton means little now, then on what basis did you come to the conclusion that "his football knowledge which seems limited to the EPL"?

Which post are you referring to as I am a bit lost now.

So you talk about what he knows then dismiss the past as irrelevant. Unbefeckingliveable.

I am talking how the media/critics will think if things go wrong......My point is that Moyes will be judged on success and not his signings.

Oh well....think what you like. Im sick of repeating myself. If you want to focus on bits and pieces of my post be my guest.

Grow up and have the balls to stand over what you post when someone questions it.

his football knowledge which seems limited to the EPL
is what you said.

It was pointed out that you were wrong by showing where his signings at Everton were sourced.

That is not bits and pieces of your post but disagreeing with something you said backed up with facts. That's a discussion forum for you.

Bring the whole post. Come on you can do it....:)

Well I'd definitely disagree, they're very different players and I think it's premature to say that Pogba already eclipses Fellaini. I'd rather Pogba as well, but Fellaini is far more experienced and is vastly underrated as a CM because Moyes barely used him as such.

Just no. He needs two players next to him doing all the work just so he can shine, that's not the sign of someone who is a good CM, he will likely become one but right now? He's not, he's simply a good player.

You never done anything else than repeating yourself!

Irrespective of whom he's going to buy, Moyes will be judged on success. If he fails to bring success on short/mid term then people will still judge his transfer signings and his football knowledge which seems limited to the EPL (whose lets face it is hardly the best league to make bargains)

The people in question are the media, a substantial number of fans and the critics. During that post we were talking about how important it is for Moyes to get it right in his first transfers (indirectly justifying the strategy of bringing in former Everton player who Moyes know well and should dissapoint him). I said that this is BS as Moyes will be judged on success and if he wins important honors he will still be considered as a success irrespectively whom he sign. I also showed how, in my opinion, the critics, fans and media (the people) would criticize Moyes if he failed to do so.

Why, it was that bit I had issue with. The bit you got totally wrong. You haven't managed to actually see it with it highlighted, there is no way you would had I quoted the whole post.

You've changed your whole argument now.

Quoting a tiny piece of a post without understanding the thought behind it and its relevance in the entire post is a bit retarded.

You've changed your whole argument now.

Its what I was saying all along. And I explained it 4-5 times. That's the problem when people quote tiny bits of posts without first understanding the flow of the argument. If you have further inquires just ask.

Holy christ, you don't want to understand don't you.

Ok you win. Happy now...

No, I'm not happy that you can, on a discussion forum, make such a factually incorrect statement and then derail the whole conversation while ignoring the fact that you are plainly talking through your arse.
