That good a dribbler?
not even close if youtube is anything to go by. Not even as good as Young who is probably our best dribbler behind MArtial.

When we signed Martial, there was very little on YouTube about him. I've seen Lazio play regularly and I'm telling you his dribbling is better than Young'sNothing to lol about. Youtube is supposed to showcase his best moments. All he has going for him is that he's rapid. He's a quicker Memphis and will be naother waste of 30m

I'm not advocating we buy him. You said from what you saw on YouTube his dribbling isn't as good as Young's. I'm just saying that haven watched him quite regularly in the past 12 months, his dribbling is definitely better than Ashley Young. So you're telling me, he's a very dribbler but somehow the dozens of videos on youtube all ignore this quality? A good dribbler is someone who can repeatedly beat full backs from standing positions. 95% of Anderson's dribbling ability is running onto a ball and using his pace which is all well and good for a crap team but not when you spend as much time with possession as we do. Young can do this to some extent, Martial is brilliant at it as was Nani.
and he's played most of the season in defense LVG has done a hatchet job with our attacking options.Van Gaal is seriously wasting United's money. After all this investment our defence still looks rubbish without Smalling, our misfield devoid of creativity and we are depending on a 20 year old and Ashley Young in attack. Our plan B is hoofing balls up to Fellaini. Criminal.
We paid £30m for Anderson and he had played about 20 games!
Mane would be perfect. But Southampton aren't under any finical pressure and they have made it clear they will reject any bids in January.Pretty sure we signed Ando for 18m? the 30m was the combined figure for both Ando and Nani.
We need players who can hit the ground running don't think this guy is one of them.

£17m for Nani, £14m for Anderson IIRC. The figures have been conveniently changed by journalists over the years by using the less favourable exchange rates of the time of their articles.
That is the big worry for me. If he is so good why isn't he in that team all the time. I have watched them when he has been on the bench. He was good last season. However for that money I would want as you say a more consistent player.Everything I've heard about him screams inconsistency. I don't watch Lazio but I follow them (because of Ravel) and this Anderson has been in and out of a not very good team.
How has he been this season?I would take Ntep, he is a lot cheaper.
He is also good with both feet. But you're correct Young's dribbling ability is decent at best. I feel we need someone of Martial's dribbling ability. Anderson is below that but much better than anyone else in our squad. The problem is I can't see us getting someone with Martial's dribbling ability in January and I think the club is desperate for pace. We won't get top 4 with our current options. I don't think it's possible.Which, lets be honest, is an incredibly low standard to hold him to because Young's a fairly mediocre dribbler.
It's out of season, get Usain in. Will be good training for the Olympics. He is also good with both feet. But you're correct Young's dribbling ability is decent at best. Might just be confirmation bias on my behalf but French/Ligue 1 signings seem to do very well here. Whilst Serie A/Brazilian... Not so much.
That's the standard IMO. Well find it hard to get someone who has the same level of control at speed as martial does, as that is rare, but we do need dribblers of a high standard rather than kick-and-run, leave-it-largely-to-chance type ones. We have those type of dribblers in Valencia, Young, Lingard and Memphis, none of whole are genuinely natural dribblers. He is also good with both feet. We are in a situation where £33m won't move the likes of Leicester or Southampton because every team in the league is loaded with cash. Leicester aren't going to throw away what could be a remarkable season over that kind of figure. The TV deal has changed the landscape of the prem. Clubs aren't going to be forced to sell players mid season.Surely we could get Mahrez or Mane for the £33m being asked for this guy.

I've seen the lad play about twice so can't say much regarding his quality, but isn't he another left sided player? We need a bloody right sided winger/inside forward ffs.
I like him a lot too. He's got the same combination of power and skill like martial does albeit probably less talented.Sane fits the bill for this, he's like a left footed Martial and while he's young I reckon he'd offer much more in the remaining months of the season than Felipe Anderson.
Obligatory.

Sane's agent a few days ago said he's not moving anywhere in January. We have fecked ourselves in regards to our attack. He has the acceleration but marries it to the quick footwork like Martial, that's what we need IMO, players who are good in tight spaces dealing with pressure. What we need more than anything in this window is a goal scorer, but if we are looking to address the RW as well then Sane, Lucas, Mahrez and Mane would all be above Felipe Anderson for me.

I disagree. Martial can score goals if given chances so that' sorted. Just pay big money for Mane and Lucas and get it done.
