So the US govt, with world's biggest budget and all kinds of technology has no effin idea about mysterious drones flying over all kinds of places and are saying ok keep flying and not bothering to take them down

You can’t rule out government tech with this stuff. But I’ve been inundated with these videos on my Reddit feed and I think things are getting a bit mixed up now with the sightings. There seem to be 3 or 4 different ‘objects’ flying around right now, but it is the more visible drone type ones that are getting picked up more. The ones with the lights etc are clearly some sort of drone, but I’m wondering why they’re there. And do they have anything to do with the lesser spotted objects that are being seen, such as this boomerang shaped object, or these orbs.
It almost feels like the drones are there to distract from the others, provide something that can be easily dismissed and they all get lumped into the same bracket. What the other objects are is the actual question for me. US tech, foreign tech or something else?

It's obviously not aliens. Aliens would also be a lot less concerning - because what are you going to do if a super advanced alien species decided to joy ride around New Jersey? It's a red herring.
The US military has been saying it has no idea where several of these drones are coming from - yet they look like Lockheed and other military contractor drones. Which would explain their abscence from sensors and stealth like nature. Some of those drones have caused medivacs to be hindered, forced closure of us military base airspace and triggered multiple congressional hearings. Usually when the government has top secret tests, they tend to do those tests in one of their many, many miles of highly protected airspace - not above New Jersey. It looks like some sort of civil disruption campaign.
The question is, who can get military grade drones and avoid origin detection for this long? China? Iran? Russia? Military contractors gone rogue? It's clearly operated by "people", who are toying with law enforcement and those sending up their stuff to check them out. However these drones are surely too rich for a simple domestic anarchist group? The real question isn't "aliens or people", it's "what people?".

I'd have thought the real question would be why do people leap to such extreme dramatic possibilities when the most likely explanations for drones, planes and helicopters displaying standard flying light is in fact planes, helicopters and perfect legitimate and normal drones.
How are you measuring them from an unknown distance, at night, to conclude that they are the size of a car?
