Anyway folks, I am off. It's pretty clear if Garrincha is there, I would be picking him. So feel free to make that pick on my behalf.

feck it. My Unreal Underdog side had Bozsik in it, not Falcao, and it had Figueroa there as well. I'll stick to my guns and hope it all comes through, I don't want to end up with a half-baked pile of shit due to restrictions, if I don't pull it off so be it.

Sorry boys - still at work and haven't had a chance to prepare my 4 picks. I know the players I want but, i need to make sure i will meet the criteria =P.

I can't believe I got Garrincha BTW. May be it is the United fan bias but I love wingers like him and Best. Can watch their videos all day. Amazing player. It may sound odd but I think I would have picked him if I was second in the draft. (Diego would have been too tempting to miss)

Not only is he a cock-out player, he's a really good fit with your 58/62 front line and with the pragmatic, no-nonsense full-back and Brazilian holding midfielders inside him.

Now that I've replaced Batistuta, i can neutrally say I'm disappointed with how little you guys rate him. 10 World Cup goals, Argentinas highest ever at a WC. Sure Ronaldo is an upgrade but in my game some people made it out like he was Michael ricketts lol.

It won't be much of a comfort now that you've replaced him, but I rated him quite highly in this draft.
 
Great picks so far, Falcao - the key to the 82 magic square from Theon and Trippy picked up Ronaldo which in the audience eyes is a huge upgrade.

Honestly, how worried were you earlier today? :lol:

He would have given me the best chance to progress and pick some much needed players in other positions, but my defence was never going to get where I need it to be.
 
Haven't checked his conditions. Eusebio should absolutely be one i would think, the other one of the many cracking CBs still floating around :(

I actually thought you were winding me up with the Falcao posts, would have been gutted if he went!

Figueroa is the defender I wanted the most - so I could move to a back three. Non winner, South American, pre74 .. Exactly what I need. You can't go wrong with him, but I'm still surprised you didn't go Garrincha

Yes he scored goals against weaker opposition but then again Argentina hardly got far while he was there. Not much opportunity against better teams to be fair.

Yes that is true, its just the standards i'm judging players in for this draft. I'm looking for players that have made a major impression on a tournament or a game inparticular, and i don't remember Batistuta for any significantly memorable moments.
